Chapter 191: The Arrogant Tang Qian
"Brother Chu, Sister Qinghan has mentioned your strength before. She said even she might not be able to beat you," Zhao Quan said.
Chu Feng was his only savior now. He didn’t dare tell Zhao Qinghan about this; if he did, she’d probably beat him to death.
"Uh..." Chu Feng was speechless.
"What if I can’t beat him either?" Chu Feng asked, exasperated.
He hadn’t expected this guy, Zhao Quan, to be so reckless. All it took was a little provocation, and he went and made a bet with someone.
"I’m sure Brother Chu can definitely beat that guy," Zhao Quan said, full of confidence in Chu Feng.
"Is that Tang Qian very strong?" Chu Feng asked.
"Very strong. I think he’s already reached the Qi Cultivation Realm. He’s a lot stronger than Sister Qinghan. From what I heard him say, the guy came here specifically to cause trouble," Zhao Quan told Chu Feng gravely.
"The Qi Cultivation Realm? Alright, fine. Just drive. After I help you with this, I have to get back," Chu Feng said with a sigh.
If it weren’t for the fact that Zhao Quan was an okay guy, and that this involved the Tang Family, Chu Feng wouldn’t have bothered.
"Alright, Brother Chu, hang on tight!" A happy expression immediately appeared on Zhao Quan’s face after getting Chu Feng’s affirmative answer.
The guy slammed on the gas, the car rocketing past a hundred miles per hour.
The car’s engine roared to life, and it shot off in an instant.
In no time, the car arrived at a villa district.
This villa district was in no way inferior to Zhao Liu’s Jiulong Lake Villa District.
"Cyan Dragon Mountain Villa?" Chu Feng said, a little surprised.
"Brother Chu, you know this place?" Zhao Quan asked.
"Yeah, I used to be a real estate agent, so I’ve heard of it," Chu Feng said with a nod.
It was said that the people who lived here were either rich or powerful, just like at Beihai Bay Villa.
The villas here basically weren’t for public sale. Instead, the real estate companies gifted them directly to influential figures in Beihai City.
Soon, the car drove up to the entrance of the villa district.
The entrance was extremely impressive. Anyone who didn’t know better would think it was the residence of some major figure.
There were more than a dozen guards on duty alone, all armed with live ammunition.
"Who are you here to see?" a guard asked after Zhao Quan brought the car to a stop.
"I’m looking for Tang Qian. Just tell him Zhao Quan is here," Zhao Quan said.
"Tang Qian? Who are you to him?" the guard asked with a frown.
"Why are you asking so many damn questions? Just call him, and you’ll find out," Zhao Quan was instantly provoked and started cursing.
When they heard Zhao Quan cursing, all the other guards in the area approached.
These guards were all armed with live ammunition, and they looked quite skilled. The average person really wouldn’t dare cause trouble here.
"You should just call and announce us. Otherwise, things might get unpleasant for everyone, and that wouldn’t be good," Chu Feng said lightly.
The guard sized the two of them up before finally nodding. "Wait here."
With that, the guy went to make a call.
"Fucking hell, who the hell do they think they are, daring to stop me! Believe it or not, I can have all of you thrown in jail!" Zhao Quan cursed, enraged. He was already in an extremely bad mood, and being stopped like this made it even harder to suppress the fire in his heart.
If Chu Feng hadn’t been there to hold him back, he probably would have started fighting already.
A short while later, the guard returned.
"Open the gate," he then said to the guards under him.
When Zhao Quan saw the gate open, his face was still full of anger.
Once inside the villa complex, he parked the car in front of Tang Qian’s villa.
"Brother Chu, this is the place," Zhao Quan said.
"Mm, let’s go then," Chu Feng said with a nod.
Then, Zhao Quan led Chu Feng to the door and rang the bell.
Before long, someone opened the door. It was a Tang Family disciple.
Upon seeing Zhao Quan, the corner of the disciple’s mouth curved into a mocking smile.
However, when he saw Chu Feng behind him, his expression changed, and he hurriedly retreated back into the villa.
"Boss, this is bad! That punk Zhao Quan brought Chu Feng with him," the Tang Family disciple hastily reported.
Inside the villa, a young man was sitting on a leather sofa, slowly polishing a sword he held in his hands.
"Oh? Chu Feng? I haven’t even gone looking for him, yet he comes knocking on my door. Perfect. Let them in," this Tang Qian said.
"Yes, sir." The Tang Family disciple then led Chu Feng and Zhao Quan into the villa.
"So you’re Chu Feng?" Tang Qian asked, glancing sideways at Chu Feng as he continued to wipe his longsword.
"And you’re Tang Qian?" Chu Feng asked in return.
"What are you doing here today? Zhao Quan? What, didn’t get beaten enough the other day?" Tang Qian asked with a sneer, looking at Zhao Quan.
Now with Chu Feng backing him up, Zhao Quan immediately grew bold. "Tang Qian, yesterday was just a slip-up. Today, I brought my brother here to fight you. When you lose, you’ll obediently return my seal."
"Hah, why should I listen to you? Who do you think you are?" Tang Qian asked with a cold laugh.
"You!" Zhao Quan was furious, his face turning an ugly, ashen color. He looked ready to strike.
But Chu Feng stopped him.
"Tell me, what will it take for you to return the seal?" Chu Feng asked lightly.
Seeing Chu Feng so calm, Tang Qian became even more interested.
"You want the seal? Sure. Kneel, kowtow, and call me ’Grandpa.’ Then I might consider giving it back to you." Tang Qian picked up his longsword and flashed a wicked smile.
His smile was full of mockery. He had absolutely no intention of returning the seal; he was just toying with Chu Feng and Zhao Quan.
"You bastard!" Enraged, Zhao Quan stomped his foot and shattered the marble table in front of Tang Qian.
BANG!
With a dull thud, all of the Tang Family members rushed forward. The atmosphere grew tense, with both sides ready to explode.
However, Tang Qian had all his men stand down.
"Zhao Quan, letting you leave alive yesterday was me taking pity on you and giving you a chance. Now you’re the one who doesn’t cherish it, so don’t blame me for what happens next!" Tang Qian said, his face dark.
In an instant, he thrust his sword forward.
Seeing this, Zhao Quan’s pupils contracted violently. He wanted to dodge.
But the distance between them was too short; it was nearly impossible to get out of the way.
At that moment, Chu Feng yanked Zhao Quan aside, pulling him out of the path of the sword.
When Tang Qian saw this, his expression changed slightly. He followed up with a horizontal slash, aiming to slit Chu Feng’s throat.
Seeing the longsword sweeping towards him, Chu Feng simply and casually raised his hand, catching the blade between his fingers. The entire sword froze.
Tang Qian’s previously confident and calm demeanor vanished, replaced by utter shock.
"You!" Tang Qian stared at Chu Feng, his face a mask of astonishment.
He never imagined Chu Feng could catch his blade so easily, stopping the sword from moving even a fraction of an inch.
