Chapter 44: Taken Out in Public
"I don’t drink." Su Miaoke refused to give him any face and continued walking toward the exit.
But she had barely taken two steps when she suddenly swayed and collapsed right into Chu Feng’s arms.
"Miaoke, what’s wrong?" Chu Feng asked urgently.
"I don’t know. My head hurts so much," Su Miaoke said, clutching her head, her face contorted in pain.
As Chu Feng checked on her, he realized that Su Miaoke had apparently been poisoned!
"Did you poison Miaoke?" Chu Feng turned, his eyes locked on the arrogant and domineering Young Master Tang.
He was the only one in the room who had shown such overt interest in Su Miaoke, and she had just publicly rebuffed him multiple times.
"Crawl over here, lick my shoes clean, then kowtow to me a hundred times. If you do that, I might consider letting her go," Young Master Tang said with a vicious smile.
The man was unbelievably arrogant, his posture one of lofty condescension.
If he were just standing by silently, no one would ever guess he was such a vicious, cruel villain. There was no sign of it in his appearance.
But his actions were evil to the core.
Chu Feng was filled with rage. He had originally planned on letting today’s events slide.
But he hadn’t expected the man to be so aggressive, to actually go after Su Miaoke. This was more than Chu Feng could tolerate.
However, what Chu Feng didn’t know was that this so-called Young Master Tang was a member of the Southern Border Tang Family.
Not only was the Tang Family proficient in the Witchcraft Poison Technique, they were also a Martial Arts Clan with a legacy stretching back several hundred years.
Chu Feng placed his hand on Su Miaoke’s forehead and channeled his body’s Spiritual Qi into hers, cleansing her of the Voodoo.
At the same time, Chu Feng’s icy gaze fell upon Young Master Tang.
A scarlet light of sin bloomed above the man’s head, an intense, blood-red glow.
Sin Value -7800!
Without a moment’s hesitation, Chu Feng detonated the Sin Value above the man’s head. The bloody light instantly shattered.
"If you want to die, I can oblige you!" Chu Feng said, his teeth clenched in fury.
"Oh? Is that so? The grass on the graves of those who threatened me is already ten feet tall. HAHAHAHA!" Young Master Tang roared with triumphant laughter.
To everyone else, his laughter seemed manic, as if he were completely unhinged.
"You’re the one who’s going to die!" Chu Feng said coldly.
"I’ll stand right here. If you have the guts, come and kill me. I won’t even lift a finger," Young Master Tang said smugly, spreading his arms in a gesture of supreme arrogance.
"You want to die? I refuse to grant your wish so easily. First, I’m going to let you experience what it feels like to be deaf and blind!" Chu Feng declared.
"HAHAHA! Is that right? Then bring it on! I’d love to see what it feels like to be blind and deaf," Young Master Tang laughed wildly, as if he’d just heard the funniest joke in the world.
Since the man was so eager, Chu Feng had no reason to hold back.
He directly activated the Wealth God’s Order, a power that allowed him to punish the most wicked of sinners.
Suddenly, Young Master Tang shuddered. His hands began to grope at the air in front of him, and a look of terror crept across his face.
"My eyes! No! This is impossible! Give me back my eyes!" Blood suddenly began to trickle from Young Master Tang’s eyes. They remained wide open, bulging in their sockets, a truly terrifying sight.
"Are you satisfied now?" Chu Feng asked coolly.
"No, I don’t want to feel this! I can save your wife right now! Let me go!" Young Master Tang grew frantic, completely terrified.
"Scared now? It’s too late," Chu Feng said indifferently.
At that moment, Su Miaoke regained consciousness. Aside from being a little pale, she seemed to be fine.
"Who the hell are you?! Do you know who I am?! You dare to cross me? I guarantee you’ll die a horrible death!" Young Master Tang roared, his face a mask of savagery.
The sensation of blindness sent Young Master Tang into an immediate rage, and he became completely frenzied.
"The other day, Hu Long was just as arrogant as you. In the end, he paid the price for his actions," Chu Feng said coldly.
"You killed Hu Long? Who in the world are you?" Young Master Tang’s face fell, and he began to grow tense.
"I don’t care what tricks you used to kill Hu Long, but you’d better not lay a hand on me. Otherwise, my father and my family will slaughter your entire family!" Young Master Tang threatened.
This man was truly courting death.
"Die!"
Chu Feng had no desire to waste any more words on him. He activated the Wealth God’s Order, ignited the Sin Value, and finished Young Master Tang off.
Suddenly, Young Master Tang began to convulse violently before collapsing to the ground. In an instant, he was dead.
"Miaoke, let’s go home," Chu Feng said, helping Su Miaoke to her feet and heading for the door.
Although Su Miaoke was all right now, she was still very weak.
Inside the villa, everyone was terrified by the scene that had just unfolded.
No one could have imagined that Young Master Tang would die just like that, right before their eyes.
And at the hands of Su Miaoke’s husband, no less.
"Miaoke, are you alright?" Lin Junke asked, walking over to her.
Su Miaoke shook her head.
"Chu Feng, you’ve gone too far! Young Master Tang was from the Southern Border Qing Gang! The Qing Gang is extremely skilled in Voodoo, and he was the heir of the Tang Family! You’re in big trouble now," Lin Junke said, her face etched with worry.
"That Hu Long you mentioned, the one who died a few days ago? He was also from the Qing Gang. You two need to get out of Beihai, and fast," Lin Junke said, her expression grim.
"Mm. In the future, don’t drag Miaoke into situations like this again," Chu Feng said coolly.
"You’re right. I was careless today. I apologize to Miaoke. I’m sorry," Lin Junke said, full of remorse.
She was also completely stunned by Su Miaoke’s husband, Chu Feng. She never imagined he was so powerful.
In a flash, using some unknown method, he had first blinded Young Master Tang and then caused him to drop dead.
After leaving Lin Junke’s villa, Chu Feng helped Su Miaoke into the car.
Chu Feng was still seething with anger. He had never heard of this Tang Family or Qing Gang, and he had no desire to learn about them now.
But if these people dared to provoke him or his family, Chu Feng would not spare a single one of them.
"Honey, thank you," Su Miaoke said to Chu Feng in the car.
She was still very weak, her eyes filled with gratitude.
Perhaps in the eyes of others, Chu Feng was just a freeloader, and for Su Miaoke to have chosen him, she must have been blessed with some incredible ancestral luck.
But what most people didn’t know was that Chu Feng had saved her and her family from mortal danger time and time again.
"I’m your husband. You don’t need to thank me," Chu Feng said.
"Will our parents be in danger? Should we bring them here to stay with us?" Su Miaoke asked worriedly.
"I’ll ask them later. But knowing them, they definitely won’t agree to come here," Chu Feng sighed.
