Chapter 166
Ethan’s POV
I felt a sharp pain in my chest when my beautiful Mate ran away from me. I knew Nathan was feeling the same pain. Ebony ran after Kate while Keith started at my brother and me.
"Did you just say that girl was your Mate?" Keith asked
"Yes, who is she?" Nathan asked. We knew he had to know who she was because Ebony was sitting with her, and they seemed to be close.
"You are not going to believe this. That is Derek’s little sister, Kate," Keith said, shocking Nathan and me. We had heard rumors from some of the younger Pack Members from our Pack. I never paid much attention to the rumors and didn’t remember everything that was said about her, but I remember hearing that she was the spoiled daughter of Alpha Michael, the Princess of Blood Moon High.
Not that any of that matter to Nathan or me. Kate was our Mate, and we instantly accepted her once our eyes laid on her beautiful ocean blues eyes.
"I don’t care who her father or brother is. She is ours," Nathan said, and I agreed.

Kate’s POV
I couldn’t believe the Ruthless Red Moon Twin Alphas were my Mates. Mates! Not one but two Mates. I didn’t want one, Mate, but I got two of them, and they are the most feared Alphas around our territory. Maybe the Moon Goddess is punishing me for not wanting a Mate.
"Kate," Ebony calls as she walks over to where I am sitting, looking at the sky. I could feel a tear leave my eyes as I wondered how my life had changed so quickly. Ebony sits with me, not saying a word.
"I can’t believe I have two Mates. What if they make me leave my family?" I said
"They won’t do that, Kate. Ethan and Nathan are not as bad as you think they are. I have told you that so many times, but you never listened to me. You know they helped me when Alice and her followers tried to show everyone I wouldn’t make a good Queen. I am surprised you never met them before, but Uncle Michael wouldn’t let you come to the Silvermoon Pack because of the danger. Since everything has been taken care of, Ethan and Nathan barely come around. When they do, you are never around," Ebony said
I sighed and looked at the sky. I didn’t know what I wanted to do. A part of me wanted to reject them, and the other wanted to give them a chance to prove to me that all the rumors about them were a lie.
"What are you thinking?" Ebony asked
"I have so much on my mind. For a brief moment, I thought about rejecting Ethan and Nathan, but just thinking about doing that sent a pain to my chest. I know I won’t be able to live with myself if I reject them. It’s crazy because I only saw them once, and I want to be around them. How can I miss two people I don’t even know? It’s taking a lot of self-control to stay here and not run to them," I asked
"That is the effect of the Matebond. You know there is only one thing you can do, right?" Ebony asked
"Yeah, I have to give them a chance," I replied
"I know you are worried about what will happen, but if you think about me and Keith’s situation when we found out we were Mates. Compared to yours. If Keith and I could make it, then Ethan, Nathan, and you can," Ebonys said. I knew she was right. Before Ebony and Keith became Mates, Keith would bully her. He did so many things to her before they discovered they were Mates. I was surprised they made it. Now they loved each other unconditionally, and if I didn’t witness his evil ways toward her, I would never have believed he bullied her in the past.
"I guess you are right," I said
"Great. Now there is one more thing you need to do, and I know you aren’t going to like it," Ebony said
"What is that?" I replied
"You need to tell Derek and your Parents that the Red Moon Twin Alphas are your Mate," Ebony said. That was scarier than figuring out who my Mates were. My father wasn’t fond of the Red Moon Twins because they killed their father. He believed the rumors that were going around about them being ruthless. I knew he wasn’t going to take it well that they were my Mates. Even if they weren’t the Red Moon Alphas, I knew it would be hard for him to accept that I had two Mates.
"This isn’t going to end well."
