Outside Kyoto in the Land of Whirlpools, Yako came across a battlefield.
Corpses littered the ground. There were Cloud Ninja and Konoha Anbu, but five bodies stood out sharply. They bore the crest of the Daimyo of the Land of Whirlpools alongside the crest of the Uzumaki clan.
The guardian ninja of the Land of Whirlpools' Daimyo were dead.
These guardian ninja were incredibly strong; there were no other bodies within a dozen meters of them. The Cloud Ninja had worn them down to death with long-range ninjutsu.
