Yellow Dog's appearance meant the Anbu had critical intelligence to report to Director Danzo.
Yako swept his gaze over the officials, observing their expressions.
The Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, sat on a rock smoking his pipe, fully clad in armor.
To one side stood the head of the Senju clan, Senju Rinmoku, and the Elite Jonin Kato Dan; to the other were Homura Mitokado and Shimura Danzo.
It seemed the Third Hokage was acting as a referee, mediating the conflict between the two factions.
Senju Rinmoku's face was livid, yet his expression radiated arrogance. He refused to yield a single inch.
On the opposing side, Homura Mitokado had grown tired from arguing and paused to drink some water.
As for Danzo, he maintained his typical silence.
