I Have a God Simulator

Chapter 222 - 214: Though I Die Today, I Will Forever Be Their God

Just as he felt a moment of relief, the Divine Descendant Giant reappeared.

Bos God was suddenly baffled.

’What’s going on?’

’Magic that can be used without any restrictions? Or some kind of extremely high-Tier, rare Miracle?’

A blaze of greed ignited in his heart.

’That bastard King Wuzi is hiding something good... I have to take him down!’

’If I can just kill him quickly, I might get the related Artifact to drop from his Divine Body!’

Bos God launched into a frenzied assault, completely ignoring the Divine Descendant Giant, focused solely on slaying King Wuzi as quickly as possible.

His Divine Body was exceptionally durable, enough to withstand the giant’s onslaught.

Yet even with this new ally, King Wuzi continued to evade pathetically, doing his utmost to minimize any damage he took. This dragged the battle into a prolonged, grinding stalemate.

Bos God suddenly sensed it: the Fire of Faith of another one of his Apostles had been extinguished.

It was Sote.

’Dead is dead.’

Bos God unleashed his Power of Faith in a furious bombardment, no longer holding anything back.

’As long as I kill King Wuzi and claim this Divine Body and this Divine Kingdom, it will all be worth it. All of it!’

A moment later, Bos God was struck by a sudden wave of Weakness.

He was shocked to find that his own Fire of Faith had suddenly grown faint.

His Power of Faith had plummeted by a full 20,000!

’What’s happening? What in the world is going on now?’

He could sense that even though Crystal City was being swarmed by locusts, the Flame Totems on the Walls were still in effect, and his two wonders were operating perfectly.

And yet, the Fire of Faith in his Divine Palace had undeniably dwindled.

In the instant he froze in shock,

The Fire of Faith weakened further still.

His Faith dropped by another 3,000.

Not only that, but this time, even his strategic Artifact, the Elemental Casting Furnace, had vanished without a trace.

Astonishment and Fear washed over Bos God’s Divine Body, and he began to tremble with rage.

A single thought flashed through his mind.

’That Ghost.’

’The Ghost, the one carrying the will of the Whistleblower... it’s revealed itself!’

The power of a Titled Deity was irresistible.

Bos God immediately sent a prayer to the Divine Hall of the Gods, pleading for aid from the Fearless and stressing that he was under attack by a Titled Deity.

The response from the Fearless was:

"The closest of the Gods would need a century or so to move their Divine Kingdom to your location. If you can hold out for a hundred years, you might have a chance."

They offered no aid in the form of Fire of Faith.

Although Bos God had suspected as much, he was still filled with fury and indignation.

’Powerful Gods command vast resources and aid, but the great majority of Gods get nothing. We even have to pay a tribute of Faith just to receive protection and people from the Titled Deities. We have to drift on our own, surviving one crisis after another, just to find some sliver of opportunity.’

His life force was draining away with each passing moment, leaving him with less than a twentieth of his original power.

His Faith had dwindled to just a fifth of what it was when the battle began.

The Divine Descendant Giant continued to disappear and reappear, locking him in a tireless struggle.

Meanwhile, King Wuzi would use the occasional Miracle to impede the movement of Bos God’s Divine Body, preventing any chance of escape.

The tides of battle had completely turned against him.

Bos God, verging on Madness, tried to kill King Wuzi. But no matter how grievous his wounds, King Wuzi stubbornly hid behind the Divine Descendant Giant, desperately clinging to life.

The seconds ticked by.

Bos God felt it: the Fire of Faith in his Divine Palace had been completely extinguished.

’A God without the blessing of a Fire of Faith is just a powerful monster—a monster that can be slain.’

’He’d never imagined he would be defeated like this.’

Looking at the seemingly Undying Divine Descendant Giant and the tall, despicable King Wuzi cowering behind it, Bos God was overwhelmed by a profound sense of the absurd.

He raised his head and glared furiously at the sky.

’A Ghost. The Ghost of a Titled Deity, wandering this world.’

’The Whistleblower must be looking down on me right now.’

’No matter how desperately I struggle, the chasm between Gods is insurmountable. The weak aren’t even worthy of gazing upon the shadow of the strong.’

The weariness of his long years of conquest washed over him, bringing with it a profound sense of disgust and rebellion.

Bos God glared at the sky and roared, "Does toying with one of the Gods amuse you, great Lord Whistleblower?!"

"Why don’t you blow your Whistle?"

"Or do you believe I’m not even worthy of hearing its call!"

A manic, exhilarated smile spread across his face. "You’re so magnificent, so high and mighty... well then, watch this!"

"I may die today, but I will forever be their God!"

Bos God spread his arms. His entire body became transparent and crystalline, shimmering with a multicolored light.

In that instant, all of Bos God’s Believers across two worlds—from the soldiers charging into battle on the front lines to the civilians standing on the streets far behind—all of their bodies solidified into transparent, crystalline forms. One after another, the glass-like figures toppled to the ground and shattered into innumerable fragments...

Bos God’s Divine Body erupted, dissolving into dust that vanished without a trace.
