The situation in the Southern New Continent had also stabilized. All that was left was to let the Elves, the Elf Lake, and the humans interact naturally with the various Extraordinary Creatures.

Luh Yao stood up, stretching his arms, shoulders, and neck.

The New Era’s version update had made him a little tense, and he wished he could solve all the new problems in one go to stabilize the world’s entire framework once again.

He took out a USB drive and tried to copy the God Simulator source file. The file was still 20 MB, and he easily copied it onto the drive.

Luh Yao first closed the original program, then tried clicking the simulator’s source file on the USB drive.

The screen went black, then the game’s start menu appeared.

It ran normally.

Luh Yao clicked "Continue Game" and found there were no issues.

If the source file on the USB drive worked, then it should theoretically work on another computer, too.

The simulator seemed to have some kind of deep, personal binding ability. Just like before with Prayer God Jia Xiaokai, his Prophet Hai Chengyao had been completely unable to launch the simulator.

A thought suddenly occurred to Luh Yao.

’Can I run two instances at once?’

He tried clicking the simulator’s program again.

There was no response.

The simulator didn’t support running two instances.

Besides its name changing to [Heroic Off-Road Rabbit], it still didn’t have a personal name, though it did gain a section for [History].

At the age of 12, it discovered the [Aegir’s Fire] volcano was about to erupt. By running frantically to sound the alarm, it saved thousands of humans and other creatures.

Luh Yao had a flash of insight.

’Wait a minute... A volcanic eruption?’

’This must have happened on the Western Continent while I was focused on the Elf Lake.’

Luh Yao switched his view to [Aegir’s Fire].

Now, many more Fire Elemental Creatures were gathered around the black volcano.

Among them were the [Blazing Chicken], [Mad Flame Bird], and [Scaly-Horned Giant Snail] that Luh Yao had seen before, as well as one type of Fire Elemental Creature he hadn’t.

In other words, the meteorites were now refilling too quickly, causing the stock of Flaming Giant Stones to exceed its maximum limit.

At that moment, the Fire Dragon Spirit atop the black volcano was still roaring, appearing rather agitated.

’Could this be the reason?’

Luh Yao tried aiming at a stretch of deep sea to the north and launched a meteor shower.

After this round of bombardment was complete, [Aegir’s Fire] actually calmed down, its ammunition count returning to a normal 6/6. The Fire Dragon stopped peeking out, and the area around the volcano gradually grew quiet.

Luh Yao was momentarily speechless.

’Is this how you people treat a Hero?’

’You can’t make a Hero shed both blood and tears... Even a cornered rabbit will bite.’

He looked down upon Yao City and saw that some people had already started raising Off-Road Rabbits.

These small, mild-tempered Extraordinary Creatures were not very aggressive and weren’t hostile toward humans. Most importantly, they were fast, so the people of Yao City used them to deliver letters and transport small goods.

As payment, the people of Yao City fed the rabbits potatoes, soybeans, and berries.

Thanks to the sprint of an unknown rabbit Hero, the fate of the entire Off-Road Rabbit race took a historic turn.

They were the first Extraordinary Creatures to formally march into a human city, and they had successfully completed a species invasion!

Luh Yao scratched his head.

’Oh well, it seems to be consensual.’

He yawned and prepared to turn off the monitor.

Another message popped up on the game interface.

Luh Yao couldn’t help but feel annoyed. ’Is this ever going to end? Is it that hard for me to get a normal night’s sleep?’

But when he saw the words on the screen, he immediately sat back down.

"Xiaohuo, pour me a cup of green tea. Make it strong."

’Are you even young if you don’t pull all-nighters?’

Luh Yao stared intently at the computer screen.

He had completely forgotten about this.
