I Have a God Simulator

Chapter 117 - 112: This is Intolerable

The Deep Sea Lord revealed its massive limbs from beneath the island, blocking the sea route.

The Blood Knight, having rushed all the way from the seabed, landed on the island. He held his sword with both hands and strode forward with purpose.

Underground, Philos piloted the Skeleton King Armor, watching like a tiger stalking its prey.

In the air, sitting atop her Magic Staff, Isabel summoned her Holy Sword.

Trapped on the shore, the White Wild Boar let out a furious roar as a dialogue box appeared above its head.

"Who dares stand in my way!"

With that one roar, a [Deterrence] status effect appeared over the heads of Luh Yao’s four champions.

Luh Yao noticed that Isabel’s and the others’ Attack and Defense Attributes had been weakened, reduced by anywhere from ten-odd to thirty-odd points.

But this didn’t affect the overall situation.

What Luh Yao cared about was the strange title above the White Wild Boar’s head.

[Unknown Species].

The last time he had seen the "Unknown" prefix was on the Tao God’s Divine Statue. That mushroom-like stone statue was displayed as [Unknown Divine Statue].

Luh Yao double-clicked on the White Wild Boar.

There was no prompt on the screen, nor was there a detailed data panel.

Luh Yao realized this boar was no ordinary creature.

Meanwhile, the two Apostles and the Deep Sea Lord initiated an attack on the boar. As they clashed, an [In Combat] icon appeared over all their heads.

Luh Yao clicked to enter the combat screen.

In the combat state, the White Wild Boar’s hidden Attributes were instantly revealed.

Luh Yao’s eyes immediately locked onto its name.

[White God]

’Holy shit.’ he thought.

’Could this boar be that heretic God?’

’What the hell is going on?’

Luh Yao continued to read.

...

[White God]

Life Value: 3090/3090

Mana Value: 886/886

Damage: 92

Defense: 100

Speed: 18

[Thick Hide]

Inherently possesses high Life Value.

[Decaying Food]

Slowly recovers Life Value and Mana Value by devouring corpses or rotten matter.

[Longevity LV42]

Possesses an extremely long lifespan.

[Treasure Hunter]

Possesses an extraordinary sensitivity to treasure.

[Piggy Rushing Fierce Valor LV2]

Summons the spirit of a wild boar to launch a desperate charge. Damage depends on ability level and Life Value.

[Divine Format]

The qualification to be a God.

...

Luh Yao was stunned.

Although its Attributes seemed a bit weak, it really was the White God.

’Why isn’t the White God in the form of a Divine Statue or a Divine Hall? Why is it roaming around in animal form, and with its own skills?’

’This is just too unfair to other players.’

Luh Yao was getting pissed off just looking at it.

’We normal players have to sit still, watching over our little pixel people day in and day out, painstakingly raising them through every little thing. We even have to ensure their all-around moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor development, waiting for the slow march of civilization, just to get a pittance of Faith and a few Sacrificial Offerings.’

’But look at this guy.’

’The White God just gets to play in RPG adventure mode, running all over the world killing monsters and digging for treasure, and even occasionally stealing the Believers that other players worked so hard to cultivate.’

’This is absolutely intolerable!’

’Since you want to exploit bugs and take the wild route, then I don’t need to play by any rules with you!’

’Just die for me!’

’You’re the one I’m going to bully!’

Just as Luh Yao was about to dispense justice, he suddenly noticed something strange: the White God was actually losing to his Apostles.

On the combat screen.

The White God was fighting one against three and struggling badly.

Only then did Luh Yao realize.

The [White God]’s wild boar body could be harmed by Apostles or monsters.

At first, he had been confused.

Based on Luh Yao’s past experiences in several Divine Wars, enemy Divine Statues and his own Divine Hall could only be damaged by the Power of Faith. Even some special Totems were the same.

"Only a God can fight a God" was a principle that had been proven time and time again.

But red Damage Value numbers were constantly popping up above the [White God]’s head.

...

The Blood Knight was the main damage dealer. With the [Forest Sword] buff above his head and wearing a full set of combat gear, he brandished his greatsword and almost single-handedly suppressed the White God.

Next was the Deep Sea Lord in the ocean. Its attack wasn’t high, but with the buff from Isabel’s [Forest Sword], it could barely break through the boar’s defense. It attacked the White God while restricting its movement, preventing it from escaping into the water.

These two weren’t very intelligent, but they were professionals when it came to combat.

A blue light suddenly emanated from the White God, and phantoms of White Wild Boars appeared around it, forming a massive herd.

"Blasphemers, die!"

It let out another furious roar.

The pixelated beach was instantly crushed by an unseen force, leaving a long indentation. Even the sea in front of it was pushed aside by this immense power, revealing the brown seabed below.

The herd of phantom boars launched a suicidal charge at the Deep Sea Lord, carving out damage numbers on its massive body.

...

The Blood Knight and the Deep Sea Lord continued their siege. Although the White God had inflicted a series of hits on them, it just couldn’t break through the Apostles’ encirclement.

Luh Yao started to worry it would escape.

However, since the mobile body of a God could be injured, there was no need to waste Faith on casting a Miracle.

Luh Yao moved Isabel and Philos out of the way, selected the [Mirror of Fiery Flame], and aimed it at this area of the sea.

In a forest on the Western Continent, a black volcano spewed thick smoke, the column of which pierced the clouds.

A few seconds later, the sky above the battlefield’s small island was filled with red light.

Giant, flaming meteorites broke through the pixelated clouds and rained down, smashing deep craters into the small island and blasting huge clouds of white steam from the sea’s surface. In an instant, the area around the island was covered in a sea of fire and thick smoke.

The White God, the Blood Knight, and the Deep Sea Lord were all hit by this indiscriminate aerial bombardment.

The White God suffered the most severe damage.

-2300

A huge, blood-red number appeared over the White Wild Boar’s head.

Its Life Value plummeted to around 300.

A dialogue box popped up over the White God’s head: "Don’t kill me! We can talk about this, don’t kill me!"

Luh Yao discovered that he could type in the dialogue box above the White God’s head to communicate with it.

However, he had no experience accepting a Divine Player’s surrender and was a bit stumped for a moment.

’What’s the procedure here?’

’Make it hand over its Artifacts and Faith?’

’Right, that’s essential.’

—Hand over your Artifacts and Faith.

Without another word, the White God spat out an Artifact from its mouth.

Luh Yao clicked on it to take a look.

...

[Tyrant Whale Whiskers LV2]: Faith +1/hour, grants the ability to breathe underwater.

...

’It’s pretty ordinary, but every little bit helps.’

Luh Yao double-clicked his mouse, and the Tyrant Whale Whiskers flew into the Artifact Bar in the upper right corner.

The White God opened its mouth again and spat out a ball of fire.

Luh Yao clicked his mouse again.

The ball of fire vanished without a trace, and in the upper right corner, [+144 Faith] appeared.

Luh Yao: "..."

It was the first time he’d ever encountered such a poor God.

Luh Yao suddenly felt like he’d been completely ripped off.

This small amount of Faith wasn’t even enough to cover the cost of that one meteor strike from [Aegir’s Fire].

Right now, [Aegir’s Fire] only had one charge left. It hadn’t naturally regenerated any charges, so for the time being, each use meant one less was available.

Luh Yao chalked it up to bad luck and continued typing.

—You don’t use a Divine Statue?

The White God replied: "I haven’t found a suitable place to build a Divine Statue yet."

Luh Yao had a faint feeling that something was wrong.

’The process by which it entered the simulator seems to be different from my own.’

—Was this your starting character?

Faced with this question, a question mark appeared over the White God’s head, and its answer was somewhat evasive.

"I found a fragmented corpse of one of the Tree People at the bottom of the sea. Inside the corpse was a Divine Format. I integrated the Divine Format into my body and became a God."

Luh Yao was shocked.

The White Wild Boar was a homegrown, native God!
