Global Pioener: Earth Second Change

Finally Got a Warehouse

After running through the forest for quite some time, Rangga began to realize there was a problem.

"...Huh... Which way did I come from?"

The trees on the two-star tropical island were much denser than those on the previous island. Everything looked almost identical.

Rangga looked to the right, then to the left. Panic slowly crept across his face.

"Don't tell me I'm lost."

He quickened his pace while desperately searching for something familiar.

A few minutes later, he heard the sound of flowing water in the distance and immediately turned his head.

"A river!" A relieved smile spread across his face. "It's the same river from earlier!"

Without another thought, he followed the river downstream until the shoreline finally came into view.

Not far away, his Level 2 ship was still quietly moored where he had left it.

"Whew... Thank goodness."

Rangga quickly climbed aboard. The moment he selected Return to Home Island, the ship slowly began sailing away from the shore.

While waiting during the journey, Rangga opened the chat feature. As usual, the chat was already busy. This time, however, the atmosphere was much more heated.

Broto (Garuda Nation): Deri! You're hiding information, aren't you?

Broto (Garuda Nation): My friend entered the two-star Stone Island.

Broto (Garuda Nation): He died because of a mechanical monster!

Broto (Garuda Nation): You keep talking about cooperation, but you're hiding the important information!

Rangga frowned and scrolled up through dozens of messages.

The entire chat was just Broto repeatedly berating Deri.

There was no explanation of how that Pioneer had died or what kind of creature had attacked him.

A moment later, Broto typed again.

Broto (Garuda Nation): Rangga's probably dead over there too.

Broto (Garuda Nation): Or maybe he's just wandering around the beach.

Seeing that, Rangga smiled faintly as his fingers began to move.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): Just finished over there.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): On my way back now.

The chat immediately slowed down.

A few seconds later, Deri replied.

Deri (Garuda Nation): Glad to hear it.

Deri (Garuda Nation): Were you injured?

Rangga (Garuda Nation): Nope.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): There are trees that produce hardwood for making charcoal.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): There are cows too. They give more meat and leather than boars.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): Other than that, it's mostly the same as the old tropical island.

Deri asked another question.

Deri (Garuda Nation): Did you encounter any dangerous creatures?

Before Rangga could answer, Broto interrupted.

Broto (Garuda Nation): He's just lucky.

Broto (Garuda Nation): Didn't run into any monsters.

Broto (Garuda Nation): Probably just wandered around the beach.

Rangga chuckled softly before replying.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): I did.

Support creative writers by reading their stories on NovelFire, not stolen versions.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): A medium-sized mechanical dinosaur. Bigger than a Compy, long beak, runs fast, and likes collecting shiny things.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): If it sees loot, it'll steal it.

The chat instantly became lively.

Andre (Garuda Nation): Huh? It steals?

Fajar (Garuda Nation): A pickpocket monster?

Deri typed again.

Deri (Garuda Nation): Were you able to defeat it?

Rangga (Garuda Nation): Yep.

Before Deri could respond, Broto appeared again.

Broto (Garuda Nation): Yeah right.

Broto (Garuda Nation): Lucky again.

This time, Rangga replied immediately.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): Sure.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): At least I can kill it.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): Better than talking big like you.

For a few seconds, the chat went completely silent.

Then...

Broto (Garuda Nation): WHAT DID YOU SAY?!

Broto (Garuda Nation): YOU'VE GOT SOME NERVE!

Broto (Garuda Nation): IF I EVER SEE YOU...

Broto's messages kept pouring in without pause.

Rangga merely smirked.

"Getting mad all by yourself."

He didn't bother replying anymore.

Seeing that things had calmed down a little, Deri typed again.

Deri (Garuda Nation): Thank you for the information, Rangga.

Several other Pioneers echoed the sentiment.

Andre (Garuda Nation): Thanks.

Fajar (Garuda Nation): That's really helpful.

Rangga thought for a moment before typing one more piece of information.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): Oh, right.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): If you manage to kill that dinosaur, it can drop Composite Alloy Spear Blueprints.

Rangga (Garuda Nation): The spear is probably better than a stone spear.

The chat instantly fell silent once again.

Not a single new message appeared for several seconds.

Even Broto, who had been raging just moments ago, suddenly stopped typing.

Rangga smiled faintly at the reaction.

Without saying another word, he closed the chat window.

Then he leaned against the side of the ship, enjoying the cool sea breeze while waiting for his home island to come back into view.

Not long afterward, Rangga's ship finally docked at the pier of his home island.

As soon as he stepped ashore, a blue screen appeared before him.

《Would you like to unload your ship's entire inventory?》

Rangga immediately selected Yes.

White light enveloped the center of the island.

A moment later, everything he had gathered during today's expedition appeared in neatly formed piles.

Hardwood. Beef. Cowhide. Mechanical Gyroscopes. Alloy Servo Joints. Composite Alloy Spear Blueprints. Along with the various other materials he had collected.

His ship's inventory wasn't even full today.

Only 83 out of 150 slots had been used.

"Still plenty of room."

Rangga nodded before opening his ship's status screen once again.

Level 2 Ship

Upgrade Requirements

30 Wood

10 Hardwood

10 Copper Ingots

5 Mechanical Gyroscopes

5 Stabilizer Modules

Rangga read through each required material one by one.

"Wood... done... Hardwood just needs a bit more chopping."

His gaze stopped on the last two materials.

Mechanical Gyroscopes and Stabilizer Modules.

He scratched his cheek.

"Still short on Gyroscopes... And I've never even seen a Stabilizer Module."

Rangga closed the ship status screen.

There was still a long way to go before he could upgrade it again.

He nodded quietly to himself.

"Still a long road ahead."

After that, Rangga left the pier and headed toward the center of the island, ready to check his production buildings and today's harvest.

Rangga stood for a moment in front of the pile of materials.

"Hmm... What should I do first?"

His eyes soon landed on the pile of beef.

"Oh, right... Shipping first."

He picked up several pieces of beef and walked toward the shipping point.

A blue screen immediately appeared.

《Resource Shipment to Earth》

0/5 kg

One piece of beef after another disappeared into the screen until the shipment capacity was full.

5/5 kg

Without hesitation, Rangga pressed Send.

The beef turned into light and vanished, beginning its journey toward Earth.

"There."

"I'll get more tomorrow."

Afterward, he headed straight for the Kiln.

Today, he finally had the material he had been looking for.

Rangga opened the production menu.

Charcoal

1 Hardwood

He immediately inserted twenty-five pieces of Hardwood.

The inside of the kiln glowed brightly.

A few moments later, twenty-five pieces of charcoal were neatly stacked inside.

"Done."

Without stopping, he opened the next recipe.

Copper Ingot

3 Copper Ore

1 Charcoal

Rangga inserted sixty Copper Ore and twenty pieces of Charcoal.

All the materials glowed, and the kiln radiated a bright orange light for several seconds.

When the light faded, twenty shiny Copper Ingots were neatly arranged inside.

Rangga picked one up.

"So this is a Copper Ingot." He smiled in satisfaction. "Finally."

After moving all the Copper Ingots into his personal inventory, Rangga immediately opened the building menu.

His finger selected the structure he had wanted to build for so long.

The Warehouse.

Every requirement had finally been fulfilled.

His smile widened.

"Finally."

He immediately pressed Build.

Wood.

Stone.

Five Copper Ingots.

All the required materials transformed into light.

A moment later, a medium-sized wooden building slowly emerged beside his house.

It was simple, yet far sturdier than his old cabin.

It had a wide doorway and a tall roof.

What left Rangga completely speechless happened only a few seconds later.

All the materials that had been scattered around the yard...

Wood. Stone. Ore. Fruit. Leather. Meat. Fibers. Everything suddenly began glowing.

"Huh?"

In an instant, every single pile disappeared from the yard.

Rangga immediately panicked.

"HEY! My stuff!"

He hurriedly threw open the warehouse door.

The moment he stepped inside, his eyes widened.

"Damn..."

Inside the warehouse were rows of neatly arranged storage shelves.

There was a dedicated section for Wood. A section for Stone. Ore. Metal.

There were even separate shelves for Leather, Food, Plants, and Mechanical Materials.

Everything he had gathered was already sorted automatically by category.

No more messy piles scattered everywhere like before.

Rangga slowly walked through the warehouse, looking from side to side.

"Damn... Now this is a warehouse."

He opened the food shelf.

All of his dried fruit, meat, and coconuts had already been neatly organized.

Then he moved to the metal shelf.

The Copper Ingots and Alloy Plates had also been stored in their proper places.

Rangga nodded in satisfaction.

"Now... my island finally doesn't look like a junkyard anymore."
