Global Pioener: Earth Second Change

Alloy Composite Spear

Rangga stepped out of the warehouse with a smile still plastered across his face, but he didn't stop walking.

His eyes drifted back toward the Kiln.

"Hmm... I'm curious about something..."

He walked over and opened its menu once more. There was still one recipe he had never tried.

Pottery

5 Clay

1 Charcoal

"Alright, let's make one."

Rangga placed the materials inside.

The kiln glowed orange once again. A few moments later, the light faded.

Resting on top of the kiln was a reddish-brown bowl with a rough, handmade surface.

Rangga picked it up, his eyes instantly lighting up.

"A bowl!" He burst into laughter. "Damn! I finally have a bowl!"

Up until now, he had always eaten with his hands or used leaves as makeshift plates.

Now he finally had a proper container.

"I can eat with this... cook with it... no more making a mess."

Still grinning from ear to ear, Rangga immediately reopened the production menu.

"Might as well."

A few minutes later, four more pottery items were finished.

This time, he shaped them into several simple utensils. A small plate. A clay cooking pot. A small bowl. And a large serving plate.

Rangga carefully carried everything over to the campfire, arranging them neatly beside it.

They were crude and far from perfectly crafted, but to him, they felt like luxuries.

He picked up the clay pot and filled it with the fresh water he had brought earlier.

After thinking for a moment, he added a little seawater.

"Just to give it a bit of flavor."

Then he took out his Copper Knife.

He sliced several pieces of beef into smaller chunks before dropping them into the pot.

The pot was placed over the campfire. Gradually, the water began to boil. The aroma of beef broth slowly filled the air.

Rangga sat in front of the fire, smiling contentedly as he admired his very first cooking pot.

"Now this is cooking."

He quietly enjoyed the peaceful scene for a while. Then his gaze shifted toward the Production Bench.

"Oh right... the spear."

He immediately stood up, wiped his hands clean, and walked over to the workbench, eager to see what materials would be required for the new weapon he had just unlocked.

Rangga took out the three Composite Alloy Spear Blueprint fragments he had obtained from the Mechanical Oviraptors.

He walked up to the Production Bench. One by one, he placed the blueprints onto its surface.

The moment all three touched the table, a blue light enveloped them before the pages dissolved into countless particles of light and disappeared.

Rangga immediately opened the production menu.

A brand-new recipe caught his attention.

Composite Alloy Spear Materials

6 Wood

10 Alloy Plates

20 Synthetic Fibers

5 Copper Ingots

A broad smile spread across his face.

"Nice... I've got everything."

The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there.

Without hesitation, he pressed Craft.

Wood. Alloy Plates. Synthetic Fibers. Copper Ingots. Every material floated toward the Production Bench, transforming into streams of light that slowly took the shape of a weapon.

Several seconds later, the light faded. Lying atop the workbench was a brand-new spear. Its shaft was smooth and dark brown.

Its spearhead was forged from silver-colored alloy, reflecting the sunlight with a razor-sharp gleam—far deadlier than the stone spear he had once relied on.

Rangga slowly picked it up.

"The weight... feels just right."

Holding the spear with both hands, he swung it forward.

Whoosh!

The air split before him. He immediately thrust again.

Thrust!

The movement felt firm and natural. Then he swept it sideways.

Swish!

His grin widened.

"Damn... this feels amazing."

The spear was perfectly balanced. Neither too heavy nor too light.

Rangga continued practicing several thrusts and slashes through the air. The more he used it, the more satisfied he became.

If this spearhead struck the body of a mechanical creature...

"...it definitely won't bounce off anymore. This thing's gonna pierce right through."

He chuckled softly while spinning the spear once more.

"Now I don't have to rely only on my bow. If anything gets too close..."

"...I've got this."

Suddenly, he remembered the conversation from the chat earlier.

Broto's friend.

The Pioneer who had reportedly died on the two-star Stone Island after encountering a mechanical creature.

The smile on Rangga's face slowly faded. He quietly stared at the spear in his hands.

"This world... keeps getting more dangerous."

Without another thought, he slung the Composite Alloy Spear across his back beside his bow.

Rangga nodded firmly.

"From now on... you're coming with me everywhere."

Still standing before the Production Bench with his new spear in hand, Rangga suddenly remembered something.

"Oh right... upgrade the bench first."

He opened the workbench menu again. A blue screen appeared.

Production Bench Level 2

Upgrade Requirements

20 Stone

4 Copper Ingots

6 Wood

Rangga smiled.

"Now this... I've got."

Without hesitation, he pressed Upgrade.

The required materials dissolved into light and flowed into the Production Bench.

The surface of the table began glowing. Its wooden frame became more refined. Its sides were reinforced with metal supports.

Several small drawers and tool compartments appeared beneath the tabletop.

The glow gradually faded. Rangga immediately reopened its status.

Production Bench Level 3

Upgrade Requirements

30 Stone

10 Copper Ingots

10 Iron Ore

20 Hardwood

Rangga shook his head.

"Can't do that yet... I haven't even seen Iron Ore."

He then opened the production menu. Several new recipes immediately appeared. His eyes lit up.

Copper Axe

1 Copper Ingot

4 Wood

15 Plant Fibers

Copper Pickaxe

1 Copper Ingot

4 Wood

15 Plant Fibers

Copper Knife

1 Copper Ingot

4 Wood

15 Plant Fibers

Rangga pointed excitedly at the screen.

"Yes! These are exactly what I've been waiting for!"

Without wasting another second, he immediately crafted two Copper Axes.

The required materials glowed brightly.

Several seconds later, two axes with reddish copper heads appeared atop the workbench.

He didn't stop there. Next came two Copper Pickaxes. Then a single Copper Knife.

Before long, his brand-new set of tools was neatly arranged across the table.

Rangga picked up one of the axes and gave it a slow practice swing.

The heavier axe head made every swing feel much more solid.

Its edge also looked far sharper than his old stone axes. Next, he picked up one of the pickaxes. Its metal tip looked sturdy and durable.

Finally, he lifted the Copper Knife, its polished blade reflecting the afternoon sunlight.

A wide smile spread across his face as he gently ran a hand across the axe and pickaxe.

"Finally... No more broken tools every other day."

He spun the axe once more before nodding in satisfaction.

"Tomorrow... I'll see what you guys can really do."

At that same moment, emergency meetings were being held across the world.

In the Bald Eagle Nation, a massive screen inside the Situation Room replayed Rangga's progress from Day One.

The Composite Alloy Bow. The Leather Armor. The Warehouse. And now, the Copper tools he had just crafted.

Silence filled the room before the President finally spoke.

"So... What's your conclusion?"

A senior researcher stood and opened several reports.

"Mr. President... Garuda Nation's Pioneer is developing far too quickly."

"We've compared the progress of every Pioneer from every nation."

"The results are unmistakable."

"The development speed of Garuda's Pioneer—especially Rangga—is far beyond the global average."

The President folded his arms.

"The reason?"

"We cannot confirm it yet."

"However... We suspect the Garuda government knows something the rest of the world does not."

Silence once again filled the room.

A national security adviser then spoke up.

"Mr. President... I recommend that we immediately request full transparency from Garuda Nation."

"They must explain how their Pioneer has advanced so quickly."

The President looked at him.

"And if they refuse?"

The adviser answered without hesitation.

"Then we apply diplomatic pressure."

"If necessary... Threaten economic sanctions and a technology embargo."

The President thought quietly for several seconds before nodding.

"Prepare an official request."

"I want to speak with the President of Garuda Nation as soon as possible."

"If they're withholding critical information... the world has a right to know."

From the corner of the room, another analyst spoke in a serious tone.

"Mr. President... If this situation continues... Garuda Nation could gain an enormous strategic advantage."

"Not only through resources... but through the technology their Pioneers eventually bring back."

"The balance of global power could begin to shift."

The President stared at the screen, where Rangga was gently stroking the head of his new Copper Axe.

Then he quietly said,

"We cannot allow that to happen."

Similar scenes unfolded in Sakura Nation, Polar Bear Nation, Camel Nation, Cattle Nation, and countless others.

Every government issued the same order.

From this day forward, Every movement Rangga made would be analyzed. Every building he constructed would be studied. Every tool he crafted would be documented.

Because they all understood one thing.

The young man from Garuda Nation might be opening a path of technological progression that no other Pioneer had yet discovered.
