Chapter 858: Fight To Survive (II)
Bai Meiyue realised that it must be because the boy was agitated by the continuous attacks and ended up awakening his ability. She raised her hand and nursed the space between her brows before creating a water rope; the water rope hurled toward Meng Guo, who was about to hit a human-faced spider with his toy hammer and tugged him backwards. Even though he was pulled back, Meng Guo was still screaming at the tops of his lungs, "I will kill you, you monsters! You bullies! Wow!"
"You boy! You really know how to cause trouble for us!" Bai Jixuan saw that Bai Meiyue was having a hard time restraining the wriggling child and immediately changed his form into that of an eagle. He rushed forward, caught the boy’s collar, and brought him back to the watchtower with him.

Bai Meiyue felt like she had been ignoring the management of the safe base too much. If not, why would a child run amok like this? Meng Guo was lucky that the opponents in front of him were just human-faced spiders; if it were some other monster, then would Meng Guo even live another day to tell the tale? Of course not. He would end up losing his life.

But for now, he needed to stay inside the safe base and slowly learn the way around the world.

Meng Guo made a lot of trouble; even though he was young, his voice was quite loud, and what was more, at that moment, he was angry. Thus, he was quite vociferous. Bai Meiyue looked at the boy who was making a fuss and screaming about how he wanted to go down to the battlefield and fight the zombies.
Bai Meiyue listened to his whines for a while, but then she started to ignore him. She wanted to guide him, but she didn’t have the time to deal with his tantrums at the moment. She turned a deaf ear to his cries and then turned her attention to the human-faced spiders.
Sensing there was danger, Liu Che’s poison mist also started to rise and got stronger and stronger. However, the area was too big and even though the mist had become stronger than before, it had absolutely no use on the human-faced spiders.
"Continue with the flame attack." Bai Meiyue turned to look at Meng Suisui and the rest of the fire ability users.
Meng Suisui nodded and then started to attack the human-faced spiders again. Behind her, many of the guards started to light up torches and set the human-faced spiders on fire with the help of these torches.
However, even when they killed a bunch of human-faced spiders, there were too many of them, and it did not take long for panic to start spreading among the survivors. Soon, they were banging on the doors of the safe base and begging Bai Meiyue to let them in. However, how could Bai Meiyue let these people into the safe base? Even if she wanted to, she couldn’t. He turned to look at the people behind him and said, "Go and prepare some torches. We have enough wood to make some torches. All the women should attack these things if they get so close. And men, you all need to come with me. We will fight these things and make them back off."
Since Bai Meiyue was fighting these things, they could not hide like cowards!
