Yandere Instruction Manual: My Wife is World Ending Calamity!

Chapter 109: Lily Agreed to Go on a Date With Me, but Her Summon Still Doesn’t Trust Me.

After a moment, Lily finally calmed down and looked at me, the blush still lingering on her face as she spoke.

"...."

"I..."

But before she could announce her decision, the weirdo in front of her immediately clicked his tongue.

"Tsk, tsk." He said, shaking his head. "Too damn late."

He had a knowing smile on his face as if he already knew what her answer was going to be and yet he dared to do this. All the blush on her face vanished in an instant, replaced by anger.

"Y-you, you..."

She stuttered as soft laughter echoed from behind her through the slightly ajar door. Lily ignored that traitorous Rwar, who refused to help her and instead seemed to be enjoying her trouble as amusement.

Ever since the weirdo had woken up, he had been doing nothing but annoying her to no end. Not only had he stolen her kiss, but he dared to say that it was her fault. And yet, she accepted it because it was indeed him who had woken her up from that sleep.

But... wasn’t his teasing simply too much?

And more than that... Why was a small part of her actually enjoying this teasing?

She immediately shook her head in denial, and right on cue, Zenith spoke once again with that damn annoying smugness of his.

"What? Don’t tell me you actually want to kiss me? I mean, if you really want to, I don’t really mind."

Lily averted her eyes from his annoying face with a slight pout.

"As if I wanna do that. Not in a million years." She continued in the same tone. "Who would even wanna kiss a weirdo like you?"

She peeked at him, waiting for a reaction or a retort, but instead, all he had on his face was a bitter smile that somehow looked incredibly lonely to her. Looking at that expression, her heart felt a hollow ache but before she could say anything about it, the same smug expression appeared on his face again.

"Well, I wouldn’t want a kiss I got through such methods anyway." He smiled brightly. "So instead, what I want is simple. Give me your time. Go out with me a few times. I don’t want anything else except that."

"So, how about it? Isn’t it more reasonable than my other two demands?"

Lily folded her hands as, for some reason, her lips seemed to want to curl up. But after controlling it, she looked at him calmly and nodded instead.

"Alright. I will go out with you, but if you dare to do something weird again, I will—"

"You will what?"

Zenith leaned towards her slightly, causing her to immediately jump back.

"I will complain to Rwar."

She finally managed to say it before Zenith chuckled softly.

"Alright, alright. I won’t do anything weird but I won’t mind if you decide to do something weird either."

"Tch. Whatever."

With those words, Lily got up from her seat, her gaze shifting toward the many injuries still covering his body before she averted her eyes and moved towards the door.

"You can stay here until you are healed. My room is on the other side, so don’t even dare to come closer to it. And don’t dare to move either. If you need anything, tell Rwar."

She didn’t even bother waiting for a reply from the boy and walked out of the room. The moment she stepped outside, her gaze shifted towards the wall beside her, where Rwar was trying to hide using her stealth ability.

"You do know that I can sense where you are, right, Rwar? I know you have been listening this whole time."

Rwar’s body appeared, although she did look reluctant.

"Ahem, well, it was worth a try."

Lily didn’t say anything about it.

"Heal that weirdo for now. He still seems to have many injuries left and don’t let him go until he is completely healed." She said this with her back turned towards Rwar. "Also, before you make some ridiculous theories, it’s definitely not because I care for him or something. I simply don’t want him to demand something even more ridiculous in exchange for his injuries."

"That’s all."

Rwar rolled her eyes but didn’t say anything more.

"Sure, if you say so."

***

As Rwar watched Lily’s receding back, a smile stretched across her formless body. Although Lily tried to act angry and annoyed, her happiness was barely hidden from Rwar, who had known the girl for so many years.

Lily had barely expressed many emotions since childhood, especially in front of others. The organisation that had captured her when she was a child had made her focus solely on getting stronger and completing whatever missions they assigned her like a tool.

Despite being merely eighteen, Lily’s hands were already stained with blood and she barely hesitated when it came to killing anyone.

But ever since she met that boy... something within her had changed.

Lily had become more expressive.

She got angry when that boy was nearly killed... and more importantly, she had started smiling a lot more recently.

Rwar still didn’t know what kind of magic that boy had cast on her poor contractor but somehow... it didn’t feel as bad as before, especially after she had witnessed the sincerity of the boy as well.

But the ever-growing relationship between the two did make Rwar wonder how the boy would react if he were to learn the reason why Lily was here.

Or what would Lily do when the time to fulfill her mission finally came?

What would Lily choose?

A bond she had made in a few months or a bond she had been craving to have since childhood?

...For that reason alone, she had tried to tell Lily to stay away from the boy before. She didn’t want her to get hurt but after what the Spirit King had said to Octina... even that seemed like something impossible to do.

What your fate has written for you, only time shall tell. But no matter the outcome, I will always be there to protect you, Lily.

With a silent determination burning in her eyes, Rwar entered the room where the boy was because she still had many things to ask him.

After all, even if she couldn’t separate them anymore, Rwar had no intention of letting her lovely Lily be cheated by some scumbag... even if she had to go against orders or the Spirit King.

So, she was going to make damn sure Zenith Von Ruinbringer wasn’t one.
