The Strongest Swordmaster in the World of Naruto (AU)

Chapter 326: Madara Uchiha Meets Yahiko’s Group

“Leader, you must also take care of your own health! Don’t just burden yourself with endless worries. If you fall ill, all of us will be extremely concerned.” Kurisu’s voice carried firmness, yet beneath that firmness was a thread of sincerity and genuine concern that could not be disguised.

“I know, I know,” Aoki replied while slightly raising both of his hands, his gesture looking almost like surrender to the gentle scolding.

“All right then, let’s have a meal together,” Aoki said as he began walking toward the door. His shoulders appeared just a little more relaxed after that brief exchange.

“I understand. Let’s eat together,” Kurisu answered with a faint smile before stepping up to walk at Aoki’s side.

The two of them left the room side by side, leaving behind the faint scent of old parchment and aged wood. Gradually, the warm aroma of food drifting from the dining hall greeted them, teasing their senses and softening the heavy atmosphere into something calmer.

...

...

Meanwhile, in Amegakure.

In a part of the village where numerous ponds stretched across the area, the water rippled gently, reflecting the dull gray sky above. A thin mist clung stubbornly to the damp wooden surfaces, while droplets of rain slid down slowly, adding to the perpetual dampness.

Several wooden buildings stood nearby, simple yet sturdy, as though silently defying the eternal rainfall that cloaked the Village of Amegakure.

One of these buildings was a branch of the Akatsuki organization. Inside, within damp walls dimly lit by the flickering glow of oil lamps, three figures stood around a large wooden table.

Spread across the table was a map drawn in dark, heavy ink, covered in lines and markings that detailed their plans. The three exchanged glances, their eyes reflecting both determination and a quiet, pressing anxiety.

“Our fish sales have expanded. Here in Amegakure, our sales have already reached seventy percent,” Konan spoke, her expression grave.

Her voice was flat, almost cold, but filled with conviction. Her unblinking eyes remained fixed on the map, as though she wanted to ensure every drawn line matched their vision. Her long blue hair fell gracefully down her shoulders, its softness standing in sharp contrast to the hard expression carved into her face.

“With sales already reaching seventy percent, we can begin exporting to other villages. By doing so, Amegakure can secure allies who will help us gain a foothold in the shinobi world. That way, no one will dare to use our village as a battlefield ever again.” Yahiko, with a bright smile and a resonant voice, spoke boldly.

He struck the table lightly with his hand, brimming with energy. The faint light seeping through the cracks in the walls sharpened his features, while the fire in his eyes burned with the conviction of a young leader who longed to change the fate of his village.

“That will not be possible.”

The voice came suddenly. Deep. Heavy. Pressing. It was a voice that seemed to crawl straight out of the darkness itself.

In an instant, Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan froze. Their breaths hitched, and their bodies stiffened instinctively in alarm.

All three turned at once, their sharp gazes locking onto the figure of a man standing in the corner of the room.

He wore a long black cloak with a high collar, his form half-shrouded in shadow. His face was hidden beneath a mask adorned with spiral patterns that drew inward toward his right eye.

His arrival had been so sudden, so seamless, it was as if he had emerged directly from the very shadows of Amegakure itself, a place always drowned in unending rain.

“Who are you?!” Nagato demanded in a serious tone, his eyes narrowing. The glow of the Rinnegan shimmered faintly beneath the dim light, as though trying to pierce the mystery of the intruder who now stood before them.

“Who am I? I am Uchiha Madara!”

Obito—who had long since fallen into the darkness after losing Rin—had now chosen to walk the path laid before him by Madara, embracing the dream of creating a so-called true peace.
