Chapter 66: Blind March
The rhythm of the Altar of Blasphemy became the new heartbeat of the Celestial Fold.
For two more agonizing weeks, the gray static of the void was continually pierced by the violent, pulsing violet light of Kaelen’s obsidian slab. The psychological warfare was absolute. High Arbiter Cassius had refused to lower the shimmering dome of the Sphere of Judgment, choosing to sacrifice the stranded celestial citizens rather than risk an open war with the Abyss.
It was a pragmatic choice for a general, but a conceptually fatal one for an angel of justice.
From his dark throne, Kaelen watched the golden battlements of the dome. The once-pristine formations of the Third Choir were completely unraveling. Through Ariel’s keen eyes, they could see Inquisitors weeping golden tears, their rigid postures broken by the sheer, mind-rending guilt of watching their own people be methodically unmade. Cassius had bound them to the walls with direct orders, forcing their souls to continuously tear themselves apart against the inherent laws of their own divinity.
"Forty-eight, Master," Lyriel purred smoothly, melting from the heavy shadow cast by the altar.
The Void-Stalker did not bring a cowering scribe this time. She dragged two heavily armored figures by their broken, starlight-woven wings. They were high-ranking Zealots of the Third Choir, their golden blindfolds glowing faintly.
"They attempted to slip through a localized dimensional tear at the rear of the dome," Lyriel reported, dropping the battered angels onto the black glass. "They were trying to bypass our blockade to request reinforcements from the Sphere of Knowledge."
"A desperate play," Ariel noted, her six massive shadow-wings shifting as she looked down at the bleeding angels. "The Arbiter is realizing that his Truth-Wards cannot wait out our hunger."
"Please..." one of the Zealots gasped, his jaw completely shattered by Lyriel’s initial ambush. He stared blindly toward the throne. "The law... the law is eternal. You will break against the scales."
Kaelen didn’t even bother to respond. He lazily swirled the crimson wine in his goblet and raised his index finger.
The Altar of Blasphemy aggressively flared. The violet light violently latched onto the two Zealots, forcefully pulling their celestial essence downward. The Truth-Wards of the distant dome spiked in a futile attempt to crush the malice, but the crushing divine gravity was instantly swallowed by Elara’s localized alchemical array.
The two angels let out harrowing, silent screams as their physical forms flaked away into gray static. Their souls were completely digested, leaving behind only the pure, conceptual frequency of their oaths.

"Yes! Finally!" Elara shrieked in absolute, manic ecstasy.
The Forge-Master bounded up the obsidian steps, completely ignoring the freshly formed piles of gray ash. Her pale, branded skin radiated a radioactive heat, and her emerald eyes churned with a terrifying vortex of dark data. She plunged her bare hands directly into the glowing violet center of the altar, aggressively pulling out a massive, concentrated sphere of raw conceptual law.
It looked like a ball of liquid gold, humming with the agonizing weight of blind justice.
"It is perfect, my Demigod!" Elara giggled, turning to present the sphere to Kaelen. "The refusal to see anything but the law. It is the ultimate form of stubbornness. All I have to do is aggressively invert its polarity!"
"Then do it, Elara," he commanded, leaning forward on his throne. The heavy, intoxicating gravity of his Level 105 core actively washed over the entire army, demanding absolute silence. "Clothe my swarm."
Elara didn’t use a physical forge. She was an Abyssal Ascendant. She was the forge.
She hurled the golden sphere directly into the air above the massive army of a hundred thousand Void-iron Brutes. As the sphere reached its apex, Elara clapped her soot-stained hands together. The alchemical brands covering her body ignited with pitch-black fire.
"Entropic Inversion: Absolute Apathy!"
The sphere of liquid gold violently detonated. But it did not explode into holy fire. It shattered into a massive, descending wave of heavy, suffocating gray static.
The wave crashed down over the sprawling Abyssal army. As the entropic frequency washed over the Void-iron Brutes, their heavy armor actively absorbed the data. The fragmented mortal souls bound inside the iron shells were instantly shielded. The ambient terror, the lingering guilt of their mortal lives, and the inherent malice of their dark creation were completely masked.
To the naked eye, nothing had changed. But conceptually, the hundred thousand monsters had just become invisible to the laws of heaven.

Seraphina drew her massive Exalted-Tier greatsword, the void-diamond edge sparking with lethal intent as she looked down at the silent, masked army. "The armor is primed, Emperor."
Kaelen stood up from his obsidian throne.
He didn’t draw a weapon. He simply walked down the steps of the altar, his heavy boots crushing the remaining celestial ash. He walked past Elara, past Lyriel, and past Seraphina, stopping at the very edge of the shimmering bridge of woven light.
He smiled. It was a cold, predatory expression that promised nothing short of total eradication.
He raised his right hand, pointing directly at the shimmering golden dome.
"March."
The command was completely absolute.
Behind him, a hundred thousand Void-iron Brutes moved in flawless unison. The deafening, rhythmic thunder of their boots hitting the bridge of light actively shook the conceptual fabric of the dimension. It was an ocean of black iron, pouring endlessly across the holy divide.
The Truth-Wards flared in absolute panic, but they were completely blind. The army of the Abyss marched through the highest tier of divine defense as casually as mortals walking through a light drizzle.
"They are at the gates, Arbiter!" a panicked voice screamed from the battlements, loud enough to echo across the expanse. "The wards are blind! They are right at the gates!"
He walked at the front of the swarm, flanked perfectly by his four Demigoddesses. The intoxicating, world-ending gravity of their combined Pantheon of Ash auras actively rotted the bridge of light beneath their feet, leaving a permanent trail of black glass in their wake.
They reached the colossal golden gates of the fortress.
He looked up at the shimmering barrier separating him from the courtyard of the Sphere of Judgment. The psychological warfare was over. High Arbiter Cassius had refused to open his doors, so the Abyss had simply come to knock.
"Seraphina," Kaelen’s voice vibrated with heavy, lethal intent. "Take the door."
