Vicktor thought he was finally free after graduating from the Academy. Instead, the Chaos God of Juxtaposition chose him as its champion and saddled him with a strange boon: a parallel consciousness named Vicky, a horned beastkin woman.
    As if that weren't enough, Vicktor is an earth mage. While other mages hurled fireballs and summoned lightning storms, he can only raise walls, shape stone, and move soil around. Hardly heroic. Then again, a well-placed spike pit, collapsing tunnel, or instant fortress could be just as deadly.
    Fortunately, not everything was doom and gloom for Vicktor; with this new life came a colourful band of companions: human, beastkin, and everything in between. What began as a dream of quiet retirement slowly transformed into something livelier: a place where they all belong, a family home. And perhaps Vicky's presence was less of a curse than an opportunity for Vicktor to discover themself.
    Ancient bloodlines? Forbidden secrets? Divine schemes? For the sake of his companions, Vicktor was prepared to face them head-on.
    As for his lovers? He would face them somewhere much more comfortable and not always face-to-face. A little privacy is easy to find when you can make walls with a thought.
