Rejected By Her Family, Claimed By The Masked CEO

Chapter 56: Olincas

Abigail sighed before she entered the billion-dollar extravagant building named Olincas. It was Oliver’s biggest property. It was a combination of a hotel, bar, and restaurant.

The hotel was considered one of the most expensive hotels apart from HM Hotel (Henry’s hotel).

It was designed by Alan Michelson, Henry’s younger sister, who was one of the best architects at her age. She designed Olincas at the age of fifteen. She had designed many huge buildings like Min-ho’s new estate, Henry’s new estate, and other popular buildings.

Olincas was one of her best achievements that made her a top architect. It was a kind of beautiful building that people came from different countries around the world to see and take pictures.

It was Abigail’s first time coming there after he had opened it not long ago. People were wondering why he was so obsessed with restaurants with mouthwatering food. All the food served in his restaurants and hotel were always top-notch.

But only his friends knew he was more like a chef on his own. The internet would go crazy when they heard about it, even though they were already guessing.

At the top floor in the hotel, the president floor, in the kitchen, Abigail watched Oliver as he cooked and sighed. She sipped her wine for the third time.

Oliver glanced at her and chuckled. "Do you really not need my help in your company?" He asked her.

Abigail sighed and shook her head. "Not even when my company is in danger," she said. "I need to learn how to handle things myself. I can’t keep depending on everyone."

Oliver stirred the food in the pan. "You know I can help without any conditions. Why are you so stubborn about this?"

Abigail smiled a little. "Because I want to grow. I want to prove to myself that I can do it. You have done enough for me already, Oliver. I appreciate it, but I just need to stand on my own."

Then she started staring at him. The way he cooked, especially the cute purple apron he wore on his white home clothes. This view was very interesting, and she was sure she would make a lot if she intended to record and sell the video.

Oliver paused and glanced at Abigail. Then he scoffed. "Stop giving me that look," he said.

Abigail chuckled. "For real, Oliver, I think you need to at least be nicer to women. You are almost thirty, Mr Olincas."

Oliver raised a brow. "Not interested."

Abigail sighed. "Seriously? You mean you don’t want to marry?" She scoffed. She needed someone who would tame him. He was too aggressive. He was a big red flag that treated men and women the same.

" Red flag" she mumured. She sighed and looked at him once more as something came to her mind. Could it be....

Oliver caught her staring at him one more time. He took a deep breath, switched off the gas, removed his gloves, and went to where she was sitting.

Abigail froze and moved back on her chair. The crazy man had something in his mind.

Oliver went toward her, turned the chair to himself, placed his hands on the sides of the chair, and leaned down to her.

"What... are you doing?" she asked, rolling her eyes.

"Just say it. What’s bothering you?" he smiled, revealing his beautiful dimples.

Abigail hissed and punched his chest lightly. "Is that why you are flirting with me?!" She groaned " Hey! I will break your head!"

Oliver playfully placed his hand on his chest. "You were the one who looked at me like a red flag when I said I’m not interested," he snorted and took a seat next to her.

Abigail sighed. "Actually, you were the one who turned a blind eye to those who like you."

Oliver frowned.." To be honest, I don’t want you to know about my love life "

Abigail burst into laughter. " So you think I will forced her on you?" she chuckled and suddenly clapped. " I’m thinking of something." Her eyes narrowed.

"You didn’t tell me you went to the same school with Henry."

Oliver blinked. "Who told you?"

"Luna, of course," she sighed. "This thing is confusing me. Michael also went to that school, and you knew he’s also dangerous."

Oliver stood straight and took a sit beside her "Yes, we all went to the same school. It was a crazy place. If you couldn’t fight, you wouldn’t survive. And as for Henry, the school villain. Min-ho was his second in command. They had many gangs. I didn’t like Min-ho at first because I thought he manipulated innocent people, I don’t mind spilling blood...." The paused and looked at the wine bottle in daze" I wish I can help with your company. You don’t know what you just put yourself in by letting him claim you"

Abigail frowned " He can’t claim me..."

Oliver chuckled and snatched the glass cup from her hand. " he already claimed you silly head, and there’s nothing I can do about it, not even Archie" he sighed and drank from the cup.

Abigail clenched her fists, she don’t like the fact that she’s always weak In front of Henry... he treated her like a kitten and she hate it, how could a man came from nowhere and claimed her?

They continued talking while Oliver finished cooking. The food smelled amazing, and Abigail felt hungry just from the aroma.

The conversation flowed easily between them. Oliver shared more stories from their school days, and Abigail asked questions.

It was one of the rare moments where she felt completely relaxed. Oliver’s kitchen was warm and inviting, and his presence made her forget her worries for a while.

But, she was still worried about Archie, he refused to pick her call no matter how she tried calling him.... and she couldn’t stop thinking about Micheal too, the kiss they shared couldn’t left her memory...

" Why did he suddenly showed up?" Abigail asked herself.
