Chapter 260 - 259: Locked up
After Luciel heard that they would be locked up together in the same place, he kept his eyes closed and continued pretending to be unconscious.
He wanted to see what was really going on at the survivors’ camp they were in, so he didn’t mind going with them at first.
If he hadn’t heard that they would be locked up together, then he might have acted already.
And according to their conversation, they wouldn’t be killed immediately but would be locked up for other purposes.
So, Luciel didn’t do anything and kept pretending to be unconscious. However, when someone came to carry him, he almost moved, wanting to kill the person who touched him.
He was always vigilant, and so he still doesn’t want others getting near him, especially strangers.
For the past few months, only Treyton had been able to successfully touch him and even sleep beside him without triggering his subconscious reactions.
But even then, Luciel knew that Treyton still occasionally had to deal with his sudden attacks when waking him up.
As for the other members of the team, they already knew that he couldn’t be approached easily when he was asleep, so they wouldn’t disturb him.
When he was awake, he could control his defenses, and of course, after spending a long time with the others, they wouldn’t trigger his defense mechanism just by touching him.
But it was different with strangers he knew had bad intentions toward him.
