My Overpowered Demon System

Chapter 121 122: Camela

"You don't have to be so alert," the person said.

Azrael did not know when he exited the car.

But now he was standing outside the car, just beside it.

Zephyr was on the other side, as shocked as Azrael.

And in front of them was a demon with a cute smile.

She had a face fine enough to make kingdoms go to war.

Her tight-fitting blue gown accentuated her shape, making her look like a goddess who had descended from the divine realm.

From her head, crimson hair that looked like the finest silk cascaded down, stopping just behind her waist.

Her crimson horns were slightly more sharpened than any one Azrael had seen before now.

Within her sockets were large crimson eyes that shone with a calm elegance.

"Who are you?" Azrael asked with raised brows.

The way the lady looked and carried herself made it known that she was probably someone from the clan.

"Ahh!" the girl whimpered as she staggered towards Azrael.

Azrael's body shifted back involuntarily, avoiding the lady's fall.

She sighed. "I should come to the castle more often… Maybe the youngest would recognize me."

Zephyr at the side sighed.

'Who knew following him would be so much hassle? Several people are just coming for him.'

Azrael raised a brow at the woman's utterances.

"Are you one of my siblings?" he asked.

"Yes," she said with a smile.

Then she froze.

"No… No… That's too bland of an introduction."

She steadied herself, pressing both legs together.

"I am Camela Malvorin, the sixth child of the Malvorin Clan's head," she said with a bow, placing one hand on her chest.

'I have seen crazy, psychopath, machine, killer,' Azrael sighed. 'Now theatrical.'

"Okay," Azrael nodded.

Camela staggered backward.

[Why is she always staggering? Can't she stand well?] Aria asked in his mind.

'I also wonder the reason,' Azrael replied.

"Just okay?" she asked. "Was my introduction that bad?" she asked with almost teary eyes.

"No," Azrael waved in response. "It was good."

Camela looked at him for a moment, then smiled.

"What brings you out of the Estate and into the world?" she asked, spreading her arm while rotating.

Azrael glanced at Zephyr, who remained motionless.

"We came for a short trip through the planet, think a vacation."

Camela's eyes widened.

"Really?" she asked.

Azrael nodded with furrowed brows.

"Do you have anywhere planned?" she asked, stepping closer to Azrael.

This time, it was Azrael's turn to stagger.

"Please, moving too close feels weird," he said directly.

"A sharp one," Camela said with a smile.

There was silence for a while after that, one long enough that Camela groaned.

"Why are you so boring?" she asked.

"Because we were silent for less than 3 seconds?" Zephyr did not know when he blurted those words out.

Camela raised her head from Azrael and turned to Zephyr slowly.

"We have plans," Zephyr said, quickly handing her the list of places they were going to visit.

Camela collected it, and her eyes ran through it.

She blinked and read it again as if she found the things there amusing.

"You are so…" she said, stroking her chin in search of the right word. "Lame. Yes, why are you so boring?"

As she spoke, she squeezed the paper in her hand.

Before either of them could move, it was burnt to cinders by flames that erupted from her palm.

"That costs 15 coins. I am sure you would pay it," Azrael said, pointing at the ashes of the paper.

Camela blinked.

"Uhh… No," she said, waving her index finger in disagreement. "But in exchange, though, I would give you fun."

"Is it fifteen Wrath Coins?" Azrael asked again.

Camela face-palmed at Azrael's question.

"Since explaining it has proved abortive, there is only one way left."

"Huh?" Azrael and Zephyr said at the same time.

"Alfred, start the engines. We are kidnapping these two and taking them to fun land," Camela said, her voice rattling nearby birds.

Azrael did not blink.

He did not need to.

The world only seemed to glitch, and he was back in the car.

Beside him was Zephyr.

He tried to move, but his body wouldn't budge.

"It's no use trying. The only thing that can save you now is fun," Camela said from the passenger seat.

Alfred turned back from the driver's seat. He was also a wrath demon, although his light red horn sold him off as a lesser bloodline.

He wore a black suit with a black tie.

The car moved back in a sudden burst, zooming out of the alley and into the open street again.

"First off, to the casino," she yelled.

Alfred tilted the car masterfully, facing the right side as soon as he got out of the alley.

Buildings after buildings passed them in a streak.

"Okay, this is crazy," Azrael finally said.

Zephyr could only nod in response.

Compared to Azrael, who was also an heir and had a bit of protection, Zephyr was only a child of one of the main branches.

He could be killed with a single thought.

But Camela's next words shocked him.

"You don't need to be scared of me," she said. "I also know I am crazy… Crazy about fun."

A light giggle escaped her lips as she said those words.

Zephyr looked into Azrael's eyes, and all he got in response was a shrug.

"I am never following you out after this," he said.

Those words had cost him all the courage he could muster.

"Even I doubt if I ever trust myself enough to go out again," Azrael replied before Zephyr could complete the sentence.

[Your drugs, host,] Aria reminded.

'Yeah, thank you,' Azrael said.

A pill appeared in his hand and he threw it into his mouth.

Just then, he saw the car had begun to stop.

Looking through the side window, he could see a grand complex painted in black.

Neon lights flashed around its edges and the top.

"Welcome to our first stop," Camela said.

They felt the hold on them vanish at her words.
