Wesley and Claire were both surprised and delighted as they picked up their bottles of supplements and carefully read the instructions.
"Avery, your lab is amazing. It seems like they can develop anything," Wesley remarked.
Avery smiled. "Yes, I’m really lucky to be part of such a cutting-edge research team. I’ll bring you samples of any new products our lab develops for you to try."
"Avery, Avery," Arthur said, playfully pressing his fists to his cheeks and pretending to look pitiful. "What about my gift? What did you get for me?"
Avery reached into her bag and pulled out a box, opening it to reveal its contents.
"Arthur, this is a prototype of the new super smartphone our lab just developed. It has satellite positioning and an automatic alarm system. It’s waterproof, fireproof, shockproof, and theft-proof. You can read the manual for more details."
Everyone’s eyes widened at the sight of the phone. It looked incredibly sleek and high-end. Good thing it was just a prototype; otherwise, it would cost a fortune.
"Thank you, Avery," Arthur said happily, taking the box and examining the phone, quickly navigating through its interface.
The phone was preloaded with all the essential apps, ready to use. He opened the settings to check the phone’s specifications. His eyes nearly popped out of his head.
