Danmachi: The Magic Grandmaster

Chapter 112: Dungeon Riot

"Wait, how did I get here?"

An evilus god stared in disbelief then felt a chill run down his spine.

His arcanum was released swiftly but nothing appeared.

If they were in the gekkai normally, this act alone would forcibly guide them back to the tenkai.

Even if they wanted to do something at the exact time of liberation, it would be corrected by the power of the world.

The dungeon was a being on par with the gods, capable of disrupting the guidance of tenkai.

Having appeared in the core area of the dungeon, these gods had essentially entered an alternate world with no means of escape.

"I wonder if this will cause any unforeseen consequences." Sion murmured.

There were a total of seven evilus gods.

If they were really swallowed up by the dungeon, they might become the fighting force of the dungeon.

Just like in the lightnovels, when Antares devoured Artemis and then created the moon arrow to aim directly at Orario.

Though unlike the outside world, this was deep inside the dungeon.

If any unusual changes occurred, the great gods like Zeus and Ouranos would not stand idly by.

Regardless of the consequences, Sion didn't want these gods who recklessly consumed the lives of others and destroyed families in the gekkai to live.

He didn't stick around to look at the results.

After all, a war between gods was something Sion couldn't participate in and losing any of his puppets was something he simply couldn't accept.

"Let's begin constructing unit zero one."

Sion gathered his puppets together and then used his absorption spell to process the gathered materials.

The accumulation of thousands of years of work was ruthlessly destroyed by Sion, who then absorbed the material to form a gigantic figure.

Even after refining, this massive amount of orichalcum still weighed a considerable amount.

He estimated that about one and a half of unit zero one could be manufactured.

Although it might seem strange that dismantling floor 1 to floor 18 only yielded enough material for one and a half of unit zero one.

It was important to note that the labyrinth was mostly empty space.

He moved unit zero one and the remaining orichalcum into Satella's shadow garden.

Right after, he received a response from the Zeus familia and the Hera familia.

The magic stones that were recently unearthed as well as the stockpile that had been stored up over the past thousand years.

With the tasks smoothly divided between the two sides, Sion finally finished creating the giant before the two familias set off for war.

"This is really good for you."

Looking at the creature standing tall in the training ground of the Hera familia, everyone wore subtle expressions.

Although it hadn't been used in combat yet, just feeling its ferocious metallic body made them understand how terrifying it would be when it finally moved.

"Where did you get so much orichalcum?" Elsa exclaimed.

"It is unbelievable that you could create something so terrifying."

"It was created by converting magic stones," Sion gave a perfunctory reply.

It was only when Sion dismantled the labyrinth that a sufficient physical body was obtained.

"You can even do something like that, that's amazing," Elsa exclaimed.

Although Sion didn't tell the truth, he actually could analyze and convert pure mind into physical matter, it was just far too costly.

"With this puppet around, we will have a much better chance of winning the battle."

Alfia who was standing to the side continued.

"After all, it cost 50 billion valis."

Hearing Alfia's words, Elsa couldn't help but feel a little pained about the cost.

In any case, this behemoth cost a fortune but it was well worth it, there was nothing more to say about that.

The real trouble was something else entirely.

"That dragon is active and the dungeon is also going berserk."

"If it weren't for Sion, we probably wouldn't even have had time to prepare against the monster."

Elsa sighed, "I didn't expect that the dungeon would riot when the black dragon became active."

"This shows its entirely different from the other two great quests."

Sion blinked.

Almost everyone, including the gods, believed that the riot in the dungeon was caused by the recent activities of the dragon.

Only Sion himself knew it was caused by the seven gods he threw down below.

Before taking those gods there, Sion set up a remote monitoring spell and saw that three of the seven evilus gods were devoured without any warning.

Fortunately, the monsters didn't naturally have the raw power to directly confront the gods, but rather spawned with a specific anti arcanum element to heavily restrain them.

After the remaining four gods joined forces to kill the monsters that devoured the other three, they sealed themselves in place to avoid being detected.

This led to a predicament where the dungeon could neither kill the remaining evilus gods nor could the gods escape, leaving the dungeon with no choice but to continuously spawn irregular to constantly erode their strength.

Given the immense power of a deity, they could probably maintain their protective seals for a long time.

This riot was expected to last a long time, and many adventurers who weren't strong enough were no longer willing to step into the dungeon.

"Don't worry about the dungeon, I won't let those deep floor monsters run up to the surface," Sion said calmly.

"That is really reassuring," Elsa replied.
