Danmachi: The Magic Grandmaster

Chapter 102: Sure, blame it all on me

Sion then shared a great deal of his own understanding of forging through the puppet.

His concepts and theories were entirely new. Many of his ideas were things that even the gods couldn't have thought of.

This wasn't simply a difference in ability or knowledge but rather a limitation in perspective.

The gods were eternal beings and their way of thinking had become rigid after living for hundreds of millions of years.

The exact reason why they were willing to seal their arcanum and descend to the gekkai was because it contained possibilities that they couldn't fully predict.

These possibilities were the novelties brought about by the lives of human beings.

"It is almost time."

After Raiden spoke those words, Tsubaki quickly understood.

Was she leaving?

Although she wasn't completely satisfied yet, she knew she couldn't keep taking up Raiden's time.

This was the dungeon after all.

For adventurers, this was a dangerous work zone.

They had been talking for more than twenty minutes, which was quite a long time to linger around.

"Yes, I still have things to do." Raiden nodded and said.

"The compound located on the northwest street will be completed next month."

"If you have any further questions about forging, you can come find me then."

"I understand." Tsubaki nodded and said, "I'll definitely pay a visit in person to thank you for your guidance."

"There is no need for thanks, today's lesson wasn't entirely free." Raiden looked at Tsubaki and said.

"There are some things I'll need your help with in the future."

"Please make sure you let me help you." Tsubaki patted her chest and confidently said, "It would be my greatest honor to assist you."

"In that case, we will part ways here."

Raiden nodded slightly, then looked toward the passage leading down to the nineteenth floor in the distance.

She then left.

"Truly mysterious."

This Raiden had a master who forged the very weapon she wielded.

That was intriguing.

Despite having countless guesses running through her mind, Tsubaki could never have imagined that Raiden herself was actually a puppet created by Sion.

"Are you awake?"

Sunlight streamed through the curtains and fell warmly across the bed.

Sion gently pinched Meteria's cheek, making her smile sweetly.

"Yes, I'm awake."

Meteria nuzzled against Sion's chest and then sat up to rub her eyes.

Although she had woken up quite a while ago, lying against Sion and basking in the warm morning sun was comfortable.

It was already around nine o'clock when she finally gathered the motivation to get up.

"I've been getting lazier lately even though I used to wake up much earlier." Meteria blinked softly.

"It's all because your embrace is too warm, making it impossible for me to get up."

"Sure, blame it all on me." Sion also sat up and gave her a quick kiss.

"Are we going back into the dungeon today?" Meteria asked while getting dressed.

"Naturally." Sion nodded and said, "Your training can't be abandoned halfway."

"Besides, I wouldn't feel comfortable letting other familia members take you down there."

Although the Hera familia was strong and Hera would undoubtedly assign at least three high tier adventurers to protect her, Sion was still worried.

"What's wrong?"
