Staring at the devastation Lucian had just caused, Yamraiha was left utterly speechless.

Even though she was fighting on foreign soil and Lucian had the home-field advantage, given his abilities, he wouldn't be restricted in any environment.

Their fundamental problem wasn't the battlefield itself, but the severe limitations of their power system.

All three of them silently resolved to stay in the Divine Court. After all, it wasn't as if they were being forced to abandon their families and live here forever.

If they were going to face the infinite multiverse in the future, losing their ability to use magic the moment they stepped out of the Magi universe was absolutely unacceptable.

"Squandering your life force like that and needing to replenish it with the spring water every single time... isn't that incredibly troublesome?" Scheherazade asked.

"As expected of the oldest among the three of you. You always manage to hit the nail right on the head." Lucian praised.

Hearing his 'compliment,' Scheherazade's mouth twitched, and a distinct irk mark popped onto her forehead.

I'm only a little over two hundred years old! For a Magi, I'm practically still a child!

Calling me the oldest... how incredibly rude!

However, remembering that Lucian was a literal god yet appeared so youthful, Scheherazade felt her soul turn a little gray on the inside.

"After coming into contact with the Magi world, I used your concept of 'mana' as a prototype to compile a brand-new system. I've named it the Life Sage Art."

Lucian explained, "The energy I just unleashed didn't directly consume my life force. Instead, it consumed the wave energy produced by the human body."

"The human body's wave energy?" Scheherazade blinked, then, seeming to realize something, fell into deep thought.

"Just as you're thinking, energy takes on many different forms."

Lucian was slightly surprised that Scheherazade grasped the principle of Hamon so quickly. He continued, "If we treat life energy as the water in a lake, my breathing is the wind. By using breathing to stir up ripples across the surface of that life energy, the resulting power generated by those ripples is what I call Hamon."

Although the power of Hamon was weaker compared to the direct application of pure life energy, after attaining his Divine Avatar aspect, Lucian had discovered a method to generate those ripples without needing to breathe.

That was to manually control his own life energy and actively churn up the ripples.

If one were to compare the human body to a planet, using breathing to stir up ripples was akin to absorbing the external sun (air) and converting it into wind, which then transferred its kinetic energy to the ocean to create waves.

Controlling one's own life energy to actively create ripples, however, was the equivalent of tectonic shifts within the body itself.

If, building upon this foundation, one used spiritual energy as a guiding force to form the dual opposing sides of Yin and Yang—then the spiritual energy would act exactly like the lunar tides.

All three methods could stir up waves, and all three could operate within the human body simultaneously. Because of this, even though there was a qualitative gap between Level 4 and Level 5, the difference in Lucian's combat prowess when using Hamon versus pure life energy was only a single level.

Coupled with his Ether Circulation, the life energy and spiritual energy inside Lucian's body were now continuously circulating, flowing endlessly with every passing second.

At the same time, his body's cells were being continuously tempered by this robust life energy. As a result, he didn't even need to visit the Dungeon; he was actively training and growing stronger every passing moment.

Of course, Excellia and experience points were still necessary.

Experience points could push those difficult-to-train status attributes to their absolute limits, while Excellia served as the essential material for achieving a Limit Break once all stats had maxed out.

When the time came, he could just head over to the Colosseum, drop a few "Meteor Showers," and that would likely net him enough experience and Excellia to suffice.

"Triggering the human body's wave energy through breathing..." Scheherazade mused thoughtfully. "It seems a highly specialized breathing technique needs to be developed to achieve this."

"Exactly. If you want to learn it, I can teach you," Lucian chuckled softly.

Lucian didn't bother telling her about the other two methods, simply because Scheherazade couldn't pull them off.

In fact, even if Lucian openly published the techniques, the denizens of both the DanMachi and Magi worlds would find it incredibly difficult to master the other two variations.

To use spiritual energy as a tidal anchor, one first needed to manifest their spiritual energy into reality.

Lucian had discovered that the life energy in the Magi world actually already contained spiritual energy. Therefore, the task wasn't just to manifest spiritual energy, but to isolate and manifest it independently.

Because of this, the primary prerequisite was either receiving a Falna, or undergoing a specialized ritual to fundamentally modify one's own body.

As for actively controlling one's own life energy to stir up waves, this wasn't purely a matter of control difficulty; it required meeting two specific conditions.

The first condition was honing one's control over life energy to the absolute zenith. The second condition was executing the fluctuation directly from its root source.

And the root source of the physical body... was the soul.

The spirit belonged to the flesh, but the origin of the flesh was the soul itself.

Even mechanical lifeforms, once they developed an outward-seeking consciousness and independent thought, could manifest spiritual energy through a ritual.

However, mechanical lifeforms didn't necessarily possess a soul. An isolated soul, outside of special circumstances, lacked cognitive ability. Yet, it could form a Spiritual Body, taking over the duties typically handled by the physical flesh.

"Hmm..." Lucian suddenly paused. "My apologies. A guest has arrived at the Divine Court. You three already have the necessary permissions, so feel free to go take a look around yourselves."

"Once you've made your decision, you can summon my Divine Avatar—the World Will of this realm—by silently chanting 『Lord of Illusions』 in your minds."

With those parting words, Lucian vanished without a trace.

Only the three girls remained, leaving the atmosphere slightly awkward.

When Lucian was present, they had set aside their respective political stances from the Magi world.

Now that Lucian was gone, it suddenly became a bit difficult to face one another.

"Whatever happens in the Magi world can stay in the Magi world for now." Scheherazade's expression returned to its usual icy aloofness. The slight relaxation she had shown earlier tightened back up as she spoke. "None of us can help the political factions we were born into. But I believe... Lord Lucian would not wish to see us slaughtering each other."

Her tone of voice made it clear she was already treating herself as a permanent resident of the Divine Court.

"I think so too," Ren Kougyoku whispered softly.

Yamraiha and Ren Kougyoku were of the same mind. Neither of them felt any friction toward Scheherazade's authoritative tone.

On the contrary, they would have been far more shocked if Scheherazade had outright rejected the idea.

"The Sindria Kingdom started out as a trading company. We've always wanted to coexist peacefully with the other global powers." Yamraiha offered a gentle smile. "This unique connection the three of us share right now... it just might become the bridge to world peace."

Sindria was legitimately established by merchants. They didn't profit off national tragedies, nor did they thrive on war profiteering. Led by Sinbad, true world peace was their ultimate, long-cherished dream.

"About that... I might not be..." Ren Kougyoku trailed off, looking deeply troubled.

Her standing within the imperial palace wasn't particularly high. She had been completely invisible growing up, and even now, she barely had any real friends.

Although her siblings did care for her in their own way, her political influence was undeniably weak. It wasn't guaranteed that her words would hold any actual weight.

What's more... the Kou Empire was an extremely radical nation. After all, it served as the very headquarters for the Al-Thamen organization.

Currently, the Kou Empire was relentlessly expanding outward, aggressively enlarging its territory. Once a massive war machine like that was set into motion, it was nearly impossible to halt. The internal factions of the empire were rabidly thirsting for war. It simply wasn't something a lowly imperial princess like her had the authority to stop.
