Apocalypse Hoarder: I Have Billions in Supplies

Chapter 211: Destroy Everything

Jiang Si happily stored the energy stone in her space and said to Qin Shen, "Let’s go!"

Qin Shen and Jiang Si flew into the cave hotel from above. A wall of snow solidified in an instant, and the zombie Vultures chasing them crashed heavily against it.

The zombies surrounded the barriers, savagely stretching out their hands.

On the other side, the barrier Zhang Aihua had erected with his vines was also besieged by wave after wave of zombies blocking the cave entrance.

Zhang Aihua and his group were relatively safe in the upper cave, but the people in the cave below were all trembling uncontrollably.

They feared the vine barrier wouldn’t hold for much longer, and that the zombies would tear away the wooden barricade at the entrance and swarm in.

When that happened, there would truly be no escape.

Zhang Aihua’s vines could kill one zombie, or even ten, but not the countless hordes.

When mutated zombie rats started climbing in through their windows, Zhang Aihua could no longer spare any thought for the people below. He had to use all his vines to secure his own cave entrance.

The barricade at the lower cave entrance was relatively solid, but the moment Zhang Aihua withdrew his vines, the zombies began to charge the entrance like mad.

At this rate, the zombies would get in sooner or later.

Everyone fell into a despair unlike any they had ever known. ’It would be better to kill ourselves now,’ they thought, ’than to be torn apart by zombies.’

Just as everyone was hesitating, the commotion outside suddenly stopped.

It was eerily silent.

Brother Qiu nudged Lao Er. "What’s going on?"

Lao Er didn’t know either and shook his head frantically. "You go take a look?"

Brother Qiu didn’t dare. "Let’s wait. Maybe President Zhang had a breakthrough and got rid of the zombies."

Lao Er hoped that was the case and waited anxiously.

The minutes ticked by. After more than half an hour had passed, everyone had relaxed considerably. Just as they were getting to their feet, CLANG! The sound of a bronze gong echoed from the cave above. It was Zhang Aihua, signaling that they were safe for now.

Hearing the signal, everyone wept with joy, grateful for this new lease on life they had so narrowly won.

Brother Qiu and Lao Er peeked outside the cave. Seeing that the zombies were truly gone, they tossed a stone out. When nothing stirred, they finally breathed a sigh of relief. Crawling out of the cave, they shouted up to Zhang Aihua, "President Zhang, where did all the zombies go?"

Zhang Aihua answered, "Someone drove them away. It was the woman with the child, the one Jiang Si took with her."

He had seen the woman’s face, completely unmarred, and was stunned. He envied her for being with Jiang Si’s group.

’Jiang Si must have helped her.’

’The last time I overexerted my power and passed out, Jiang Si was the one who saved me.’

He looked at his palms. ’I have powers now, too. So why won’t they accept me into their group?’

Zhang Aihua sighed deeply. Song Yufang walked over. "The zombies won’t be back, will they?"

Zhang Aihua shook his head. "I’m not sure."

He knew that as soon as Jiao Chunzi stopped controlling the zombies, they would inevitably swarm back. To keep Song Yufang from getting too anxious, he could only give her a vague answer.

Jiao Chunzi, just as Zhang Aihua suspected, could only control the zombies for a short time. There were simply too many—horde after horde, and not just humans, but infected animals as well.

They could hide in the cave hotel, but the endless waves of zombies were extremely aggressive.

The zombies would relentlessly attack the barriers and the snow wall, driven by the sole desire to take a bite out of them.

If they didn’t find a permanent solution, Jiang Si would become a human battery, endlessly supplying energy for Qin Shen and the others to repair the snow wall and repel zombies.

This wasn’t the life anyone wanted, and they were afraid Jiang Si wouldn’t be able to sustain it.

So, they were left with two options: leave this place and search for a paradise elsewhere, or find a way to expand Jiang Si’s Energy Barrier.

If Jiang Si’s Barrier was expanded, they would no longer have to live in fear. They could all live inside her safe zone, and no danger could get in.

Expanding the Barrier required energy, which meant they needed energy stones.

Jiang Si had just obtained three energy stones. She decided to try using them now.

She wanted to see if she could expand her Barrier Space—if she could make it at least the size of the cave hotel, it would be enough for them.

But everyone was worried. These were Superpower Stones from zombies. They feared Jiang Si might suffer some adverse reaction.

Jiang Si shook her head. "I have to try."

She wanted to secure a proper living space for everyone. She didn’t want to live cooped up here either.

They could only go along with her decision.

When she took the three Superpower Stones out of her space, they had already fused into a single piece.

It was about the size of a fist, shimmering with light and brimming with immense power.

The moment Jiang Si hesitated, the fist-sized Superpower Stone seemed to sense the call of the one already inside her. WHOOSH! It shot into her body. It shrank smaller and smaller until it became a multicolored light that flooded her system. At the same time, the Superpower Stone already within her instantly expanded, unleashing powerful shockwaves. Her body couldn’t handle the strain, and she let out a pained scream.

The powers of Qin Shen and the others were useless; they couldn’t help Jiang Si at all.

She could only rely on herself to absorb it, bit by bit.

But it truly felt like she was about to shatter and explode.

Jiang Si thrashed around the room, sending things flying. The others watched, their hearts aching. They wanted to hold her down, but even Qin Shen was powerless to do anything.

Right now, she was like an atomic bomb on the verge of detonation.

He couldn’t even touch her.

With her last shred of sanity, Jiang Si ran out of the cave hotel. The moment she was out in the snow, she lost all control of the power coursing through her body and let out a heavenward roar.

The sound was deafening. A power like a thunderclap and a great bell’s toll erupted from her in an instant. Everyone clapped their hands over their ears in pain.

Qin Shen, whose hearing was a thousand times more sensitive than a normal person’s, was hit the hardest. Blood instantly started trickling from his ears, nose, and eyes.

The others scrambled to shut the entrance to the cave hotel, but it was not enough to block out the intense sonic waves.

But the roar was just an appetizer. As if possessing the divine might to split mountains and cleave the earth, Jiang Si slammed her hands onto the ground. The earth instantly began to tremble violently, and a massive chasm tore open.

The power in the cave hotel was cut completely. Dust and rubble rained down from the ceiling.

They had just managed to close the entrance when they had to scramble to open it again and rush back out.

The moment they were outside, they nearly fell into the fissure Jiang Si had created.

Thankfully, their quick reflexes saved them, and they managed to pull Jiang Linhai back from the edge.

Looking up, they were stunned by the scene before them.

Jiang Si had somehow parted the sea itself, creating two towering walls of water.

It was... it was astounding.

Too incredible to believe.

Jiang Si’s power was just too immense.

Even with Hot Spring Bay looking like it was about to be torn apart, Jiang Si’s rampage didn’t stop.

Her eyes were bloodshot, as if she had taken an Immortal Pill that had driven her berserk.

Heartbroken and frantic, Shen Baoying screamed, "Sisi! Sisi, snap out of it!"

Jiang Si had no idea what she was doing. She just seemed intent on destroying everything.
