Chapter 179: Master’s Essence Was Too Powerful
Linsey lowered her eyes for a breath, then looked back at Damian. "Master, we don’t know."
Her voice was softer than usual, but there was no hesitation inside it. "We already decided to follow you, so why don’t you tell us what to do?"
Helena nodded slowly. "You are our master now."
Cynthia’s gentle gaze stayed on him. "If you give us a direction, we will follow it."
Evelyn remained quiet for a moment before adding, "We trust you."
Damian stared at the four women.
A satisfied look slowly appeared on his face. "Good. Very good."
He placed his teacup down and nodded like a proper leader. "Then just keep living in the Heavenly Sword Sect for now."
Linsey blinked. "That’s all?"
Damian waved his hand. "Of course not. You four are already Peak Foundation Establishment Realm. Staying here gives you resources, cover, and a good identity. Why throw that away?"
The four women froze at the same time.
Helena frowned. "Master... we are still at the Ninth Stage Foundation Establishment Realm."
Cynthia glanced at her own hands. "Yes. We haven’t broken through yet."
Evelyn’s expression also changed slightly. "Peak Foundation Establishment is not that easy."
Damian paused.
He looked at them again, then quietly activated the system check.
A few breaths later, his mouth slowly curved upward. "No. You four really are Peak Foundation Establishment now."
The courtyard became silent.
Linsey’s eyes widened. "What?"
Helena immediately circulated her Qi.
Cynthia closed her eyes and checked her meridians.
Evelyn’s icy calm cracked as the frost around her fingertips trembled faintly.
A moment later, all four women’s expressions changed completely.
Linsey stood up in shock. "I really broke through?"
Helena’s voice turned stiff. "Peak Foundation Establishment..."
Cynthia covered her mouth lightly. "How is this possible?"
Evelyn looked at Damian, her ears faintly red again. "Master... did you do this?"
Damian lifted his chin proudly. "Of course it was me."
The four women stared at him.
Damian crossed his arms. "After all, I have quite a special bloodline, so my essence was naturally very powerful."
The moment they heard the word "essence," all four faces turned red.
Linsey’s eyes shook.
Helena almost choked.
Cynthia lowered her head at once.
Evelyn turned away and muttered, "Shameless bastard..."
Damian only chuckled. "What? I’m just speaking facts. Basically, my essence was good, and that’s why you became Peak Foundation Establishment cultivators."
Helena gritted her teeth. "Can you not explain it like that?"
Cynthia’s fingers tightened around her sleeve, her voice soft but embarrassed. "Master, there are better ways to say it."
Evelyn’s ears became even redder. "There is no good way to say that."
Linsey sat back down slowly, still stunned, but a strange brightness had already appeared in her eyes. "So Master really made us stronger overnight..."
Helena glanced at her sharply. "Don’t say it with that face."
Linsey looked at her innocently. "What face?"
"The face of someone who wants to try again immediately."
Linsey coughed and looked away.
Damian ignored their embarrassment and tapped the table. "Now, the next goal is simple."
His eyes moved across the four women. "It’s time for all four of you to become Golden Core cultivators."
The four women froze again.
Damian rubbed his chin. "If I remember correctly, becoming a Golden Core cultivator means you can become an elder in the sect, right?"
Cynthia slowly nodded. "Yes. At least an outer elder, depending on strength and contribution."
Linsey’s eyes brightened.
Helena’s breathing became heavier.
Evelyn’s fingers tightened around her sleeve.
Damian laughed softly. "Good. Then that’s settled."
He stood up and stretched lazily. "Now, please accompany me again today."
The four women looked up at him.
Damian grinned shamelessly. "After all, you are all my harem."
Linsey’s face turned red, but she still smiled happily. "Yes, Master."
---
Not long after, Damian brought Linsey, Helena, Cynthia, and Evelyn toward the Scripture Pavilion.
Since all four of them had reached Peak Foundation Establishment Realm overnight, they were now eligible to choose a Noble Grade cultivation manual prepared for their Golden Core breakthrough.
Naturally, Damian accompanied them as their master, looking so pleased that anyone could tell he was enjoying himself.
The disciples nearby immediately noticed them.
"Wait... isn’t that Senior Brother Damian?"
"Why are Senior Sister Linsey and the others following him?"
"They came back yesterday, right?"
"Damn. Why do they look even more beautiful now?"
"More importantly, why are they walking behind him like that?"
Several male disciples stared with eyes full of jealousy.
After all, Damian was already famous as a pervert, and he even had a beautiful master like Elder Selvara standing behind him.
How the hell had he also managed to subdue four normal goddesses of the sect?
One disciple muttered sourly, "Senior Brother Damian really has too much luck with women."
Damian glanced at him and smiled brightly. "Junior Brother, this is not luck. This is charm."
The disciple’s face twitched, but he could not argue.
Damian’s background was way bigger than his.
Soon, they arrived at the Scripture Pavilion.
The old building stood quietly at the center of the sect’s inner area, surrounded by spiritual formations and sword marks left by past elders.
At the entrance sat the pavilion librarian, a mature and beautiful woman in pale gray robes.
Her hair was tied neatly, her eyes were calm, and her posture carried the lazy elegance of someone who had read too many books and judged too many idiots.
Damian’s eyes immediately moved toward her.
The first time he came here, he had been with his master, so he had not really looked at her carefully.
Now that he had a proper look, he was surprised to find that she also had a multiplier.
[Multiplier: 50×]
Damian’s fingers paused against his chin.
"Good enough."
He turned toward the four women and waved his hand. "Go choose your cultivation manuals. Pick carefully. Noble Grade Golden Core manuals aren’t cabbages."
Linsey nodded obediently. "Yes, Master."
The moment she said that, several nearby disciples almost choked.
Helena glanced at the disciples, then looked away as if she had heard nothing.
Cynthia lowered her head with a gentle expression, though her lips curved faintly.
Evelyn stayed quiet, but her ears turned a little pink.
Damian ignored the reactions around him and calmly sat across from the beautiful librarian.
The librarian raised an eyebrow. "Senior Brother Damian, are you not choosing a manual?"
Damian poured himself tea with a relaxed expression. "No need. I’m only here to accompany my women."
The librarian’s hand paused slightly.
Several disciples nearby almost coughed blood.
Damian smiled as if he had said something completely normal. "Also, Senior Sister Librarian, do you want to talk about something while waiting for them?"
The librarian chuckled softly.
Her calm eyes moved from Damian to the four women entering the pavilion, then back to him. "Okay then, Senior Brother Damian."
She leaned back slightly, her posture still lazy and elegant. "After all, it’s rare for people to talk to me."
