Age of Wizards: I Can Analyze All Things

Chapter 453 - 228: The End of the War, The Fall of the Divine Spirit

"So powerful!"

Yin Xue’s eyes were filled with shock.

A Level 5 Flame Demon had been crushed into ice fragments right before her eyes, dead beyond a doubt. The sight was far beyond anything she could have imagined.

Even Lu Yan wore an expression of utter shock.

As a fellow Level 4 Wizard with his own Medium-sized Wizard Tower, he was confident he could have dealt with the Flame Demon, but he could never have done it with such ease as Pei Ze.

The power displayed in that last volley of attacks didn’t just prove that Pei Ze’s Wizard Tower was far superior in combat to his own. It also showed that Pei Ze’s personal strength surpassed his as well.

’Has Pei Ze’s elementalization progress already surpassed eighty percent too?’

Lu Yan’s expression grew dazed.

He had advanced to Elemental Mage over thirty years ago.

It had taken him all that time just to increase his elementalization progress to eighty percent.

And how long had it been since Pei Ze advanced to Elemental Mage?

’It couldn’t have been more than two years, at most.’

To surpass eighty percent elementalization in such a short time... What kind of terrifying cultivation speed was that?

It was simply unbelievable!

Inside the All-Knowing Wizard Tower.

Pei Ze let out a long breath and lowered his palm. The Golden Array in the air before him dissipated.

While that last strike had been immensely powerful, it had also drained thirty percent of the Element Pool’s energy, on top of half of his own elemental source.

The cost was proportional to the power.

Fortunately, with the Flame Demon dealt with, no other Level 5 Prayerers had appeared for the time being.

Most of the elite Prayerers were tied down by the other sixteen Level 5 Wizards and simply couldn’t get free.

Pei Ze began to focus on the Level 4 Prayerers, manipulating his Spell Towers to pick them off one by one.

The Thunder God Golem, meanwhile, was responsible for dealing with the other Third-level Prayerers.

"Pei Ze, let me join the battle too," Tining suddenly said.

The Half Deer Maiden didn’t have a warlike nature. It was just that she had been living with Pei Ze for so long without being of much help and wanted to contribute more to this battle.

After all, the more Prayerers they killed, the greater Pei Ze’s share of the spoils would be later.

"Be careful."

Pei Ze didn’t refuse. After all, in his original plans, Tining was already part of his Wizard Tower’s combat force.

"Don’t worry, I’ll watch out for myself."

Tining beamed, then vanished from the Stargazing Platform.

The next moment, the Half Deer Maiden appeared on the battlefield. She reared up on her hind legs, then slammed her front hooves down hard. With a deafening BOOM, the ground around her cracked apart. Countless sharp earthen spikes erupted from the fissures, instantly sweeping away more than a dozen nearby Wax Melting Demons.

The Ancient Tree Deer Spirit Race were masters of manipulating Earth Elemental Energy. In the jagged, rocky terrain of the wasteland, they were completely in their element.

Furthermore, the Ancient Tree Deer Spirits were already renowned for their outstanding defensive capabilities, giving them a far greater chance of survival on the perilous battlefield than most others.

Tining became like a heavily armored battle tank, charging and ramming her way across the battlefield. Prayerers were sent flying in her wake.

The Half Deer Maiden’s rampage only came to a halt when several Level 4 Wax Melting Demons ganged up on her.

Pei Ze observed this and nodded to himself in approval.

’Tining seems to have gotten stronger. It’s probably due to the ample resources she’s had for cultivation in the Wizard Tower lately.’

Back on the Ancient Forest Plane, Tining’s only resource for cultivation was the relatively dense Wood Elemental Energy of the plains.

But after coming to the Wizard Tower, not only was her living environment filled with a higher concentration of Wood Elemental Energy, but she also had a large supply of rare plants. Her cultivation environment couldn’t be more ideal.

Under these conditions, Tining was like a machine starved for fuel that had suddenly been topped off. Naturally, she was now running at full power, her strength advancing by leaps and bounds.

As he was lost in thought, Pei Ze’s expression suddenly shifted, and a faint smile touched his lips.

"Elder Leiot, you wish to join the battle as well?"

"After receiving so much favor from you, I’d feel guilty if I didn’t lend a hand. Besides, we have a contract. I am to serve you for the next hundred years," came Elder Leiot’s deep, gentle voice.

Pei Ze smiled faintly and said nothing more. With a mere thought,

a gigantic array materialized on the ground beneath the Wizard Tower. Dazzling verdant light flared, and an enormous tree appeared out of thin air.

The dozens of Wax Melting Demons currently attacking the Wizard Tower were startled. Before they could even react, they heard the sound of something tearing through the air. Countless vines shot out, blanketing the sky and binding them tight. The vines then snapped back, dragging the host of Wax Melting Demons up into the lush canopy, where they vanished from sight.

Any plant life that survives for eons either masters death and curses, like the Owlwood, or becomes adept at manipulating life energy, like the Golden Oak Tree.

This same power can be used to heal wounds and save lives, or it can be turned against one’s enemies to deal a fatal blow.

Shortly after being dragged into the canopy, the life signatures of the Wax Melting Demons rapidly faded and then vanished completely. They had clearly become nourishment for Leiot.

SWISH! SWISH!

The sky filled with vines that danced like a nest of serpents, frantically attacking one Prayerer after another, binding them and dragging them into the canopy.

With most of the Level 5 Prayerers occupied by the dozen-plus Level 5 Wizards, Leiot, a Level 5 plant life form, was the most dominant presence on the battlefield.

The Prayerers in this sector were already suffering immensely under the assault of Pei Ze’s Spell Towers and Thunder God Golem. Now, with Tining and Leiot joining the fray, they were forced into a full-scale retreat, a rout that was beginning to affect other parts of the battlefield.

"A Golden Oak Tree?!" A look of shock appeared on Lu Yan’s face. ’How does Pei Ze have such a rare plant creature in his Wizard Tower? Is it his servant?’
