Chapter 102 - 164 (3)

Incredible, my stats except for my intelligence had been increased by a whole level! Not a half level but a whole level!
If there were more potions like this I wouldn’t care about the pain, I would guzzle down the whole thing, despite its downsides.
"What is it Ring, whenever you say ’check status’ your expression always brightens up..!" Alleus was sitting right next to me.
Jolting back up, I squealed.
"W-What?" Oh right, I forgot that I told them about how I’m able to see the novel’s draft and other people’s stats including mine.
Nodding, I refused to elaborate any further.
If I told them about my find then resentment could fester in them for not telling everyone about it.
"Well, it’s getting late. We should hurry up and rest, tomorrow might get busy." I stated, pulling a blanket before closing my eyes to sleep.
"Alright." Vertere muttered.
As the sounds of everyone getting ready to sleep, I felt someone next to me.
Making my hands wander around, the person had a pretty solid build despite their smooth skin.
"Vertere, don’t sleep so close to me damn it." They only found two mattresses in total, meaning that we would have to share.
Seeing that Vertere wouldn’t budge, I opened my eyes and smacked at him simultaneously.
I shuddered, as I realized what I had just done.
It wasn’t Vertere, but Alleus who was laying next to me.
Looking at my hand in horror, my hand had smacked something that I’ve never touched before.
"You damn pervert!" Alleus’ face reddened before smacking me back off the mattress.

In the morning, the world became busy.
After we had a fulfilling breakfast, Incus immediatly started having meetings with nobles and guild merchants. Requesting if things were going well or not, of course things were going smoothly.
But there was one major problem and that was paying off the promises that they made with the other kingdoms.
"How much is the margin of profit we’ll be gaining once things had been handled with?" Incus slammed both of her feet on the tabled and leaned back on her chair.
"Hero king Incus, if things are as they are now... we wont earn much profit." Replied one of the leaders of the merchant guilds, "This mission may be heroic but our kingdom will suffer catastrophic financial losses."
Sighing a loud breath of suffrage, Incus rocked on the chair’s back legs.
"Have you taken account the demons we’ll be bringing back, just give me a list of how much demons we’ll need to bring back to make up for the losses" Incus looked aimlessly at the ceiling.
"O-Of course." The guild merchant then began writing calculations on a piece of paper.
After a while, he then showed the piece of paper.
"If we take their size and the species of demon they are then, we’ll need to bring back about two hundred million skeletons, or twenty dragons in their dragon form. Their scales are quite rare, and if the demon General Dragonborn died in his dragon form then we would have been able to pay off a small kingdom—" The guild merchant’s face was covered in sweat, probably likely due to fear.
Suddenly kicking the air away and standing, Incus’ facial expression changed drastically as if a huge revelation struck her.
"That’s it, we’ll just recruit the smaller kingdoms! How much would our manpower increase by if we took all of the smaller kingdoms in?"
"Our forces would jump up twenty percent... but this is just an educated guess, I’m not a kingdom official so I don’t know."
Incus then snapped her fingers and a servant opened the door into the room and bowed.
"What is it your heroic majesty?" Asked the servant.
"I want you to confirm if our kingdom’s forces will increase by twenty percent if we recruit all of the small kingdoms in our domain."
"As you wish." The servant then left the premises.
While they waited for the servant to come back, Incus was getting ready to meet up with other people that she needed to talk with.
Soon the servant arrived.
"Good, you’re back. So whats the stats?" Incus asked with her arms crossed.
"Our armed forces will jump up to twenty six percent." The servant handed over a stack of papers, "We’ve listed how much elites they have and how much trainees they currently have."
Flipping through the papers, Incus nodded.
"Good good." Incus placed the papers on the table.
Right before Incus was about to exit the door, the merchant asked:
"Where are you going now?"
"I’m going to have a meeting with all of the leaders of each kingdom... we will strike the demon king’s domain from a month from now. The amount of raids has become too abundant, if we keep fighting them off then we’ll lose the powerful numbers that we once had." Incus then slammed the door shut.
Of course, we were already waiting outside.
"A month from now, has she gone mad! We’ve barely survived the attack on Febritust, what makes her think that we can take them on!" Vertere scratched his head frivolously.
