Chapter 103 - 165
In the knight trainees, training hall. Incus had paused the sessions that was going on that day to converse with the strongest in the kingdom that she had appointed to train the new recruits.
Multiple shirtless yet muscular trainees then dragged a wide table and multiple chairs into the middle of the training hall.
"Wow, the masters must have placed them under an intense training." I said, focused on their chiseled body.
If I were to stay here as Incus had gone to Febritust, would I have achieved such a build myself?
Sitting down, Incus leaned back on her chair as the masters listened intently.
"You’ve shaped these guys into proper units within the span of a month, I knew it wasn’t a mistake recruiting you guys." Incus glanced over at the trainees who were standing in a line from a distance.
"Yes, as you’ve Instructed. We have engraved everything we knew into their bones... so how are things on your end, when will we be going into battle?" Said a familiar voice.
It was master Klarm. I can’t believe that old hag is still alive and kicking, I thought that she had died off somewhere.
"We’ll be going into battle in a month, if my theory is correct then about three raids would be passed until then—" Incus said with a disengaged voice.
"In a month, are you insane!" Master Klarm stood up before sitting back down with a sigh, "I expected that we were going to start at least a year from now. But a month, is just too short. Even with their training, these newly recruits will barely be able to stand a chance against an orc."
Standing up, Incus looked at the trainees.
"So they can stand their own against demons that are weaker than an orc? That’s good enough for me." Incus then turned towards the masters, "Continue your training, I will deal with the demon raids that are to come."

As days turned into weeks, not a single demon raid had come.
Soon there was a week left.
"What the hell is that damn demon king doing!" Incus slammed her fist into the wall of the trainee dormitory.
After the first week of no events, Incus had decided to spend her time training under the masters, which was an odd sight but a sight nonetheless.
Looking up in the sky to read the draft once the author had finished the Chapter, it read:
┌─────═━┈┈━═─────┐
[Chapter 165: unnamed]
nothing happens for a month, but on the last day a simultaneous demon raid occurs

└─────═━┈┈━═─────┘
What the hell?
Simultaneous demon raids, but it should be fine if we just stay at the ever most rear... wait hold on, Incus had told the armies from the other kingdom to teleport two days before the month is complete.
Did the demon king know about it and did it on purpose?
Was this a strategy to weaken the forces that are striving to kill him?
Damn it.

After the day’s training, Incus had gone outside the kingdom to meet up with the armies from the other kingdoms as well as the other people that had signed up to join.
Standing on top of a wooden crude podium, there was a huge group but once the armies will be teleported here, the sight will truly be wondrous.
As Incus stood on the podium, not uttering a single word, the whispers of the people filled the air.
"Oh my goodness, it’s the hero Incus!"
"I can’t believe that I’m living in the same era as the hero, we’ll be written down in history books!"
Breaking the whispers in the air, Incus opened her mouth.
"Hello. As you all know, we will be going on a dangerous crusade. I want to thank you all for willingly laying down your life for a greater future, if you are to fall in battle, I will make sure that history will not forget you." Said Incus, her voice resonated throughout the field thanks to a mage’s magic that was standing off to the side, away from the eye’s view.
Incus looking around before continuing:
"We will launch our plan of attack from a month from now, so get your weapons ready. Once you do, sign your name in so that we can compensate you once all is over."
Incus then pointed with her whole arm at an array of tables, with a stack of papers on them.
Taking a closer look with a squint, I realized that the people sitting down is the king’s servants.
I suppose that they would be here, after all I’ve never seen such a capable group before.
Standing down the podium, Incus started giving autographs.
"Come on." I waved my hand, "This is the time to look for new members in our party."
"We’re finally doing it?" Alleus asked with bright eyes.
Standing behind the servants as lines popped up, the three would call out someone that they deemed would fit in our party.
But of course, I wouldn’t carelessly let in some randoms to join our group without assessing their stats.
"My name is brawn Tera." An adventurer with a lean and powerful build stood over the servant.
The servant then handed over a slip of paper.
"Make sure that you don’t lose it, it’s how you can prove that you’re alive. Don’t try taking someone else’s because once you die, the paper will burn." The servant wrote the adventurer’s name on the list.
"We should recruit him, he looks like hes strong enough to be our tanker." Vertere pointed.
Shaking my head, I didn’t even need to check his status.
"No? But why?" Vertere asked.
"Just look at him, he has no visible scars on his body. Meaning that he doesn’t have much battle experience, he’d likely freeze up in battle after a singular strong blow were to send him flying." I replied.
Person after person, we couldn’t decide on who we should recruit.
But that was until two people caught our attention.
