Chapter 204 204: Night Intruder
James went home and saw Amelia was taking care of Carter's body. He took his hat and coat off before approaching the woman.
"Hello, Miss." Dr. Watson said.
Amelia jumped back in surprise but quickly regained her composure. She tapped her chest gently to calm herself down.
"You must be Dr. Watson. I'm the new nurse. Amelia Orchard." The young woman said.
Dr. Watson nodded, "I figured. Sorry for startling you."
"It's alright. I was just a little bit confused that all."
"Confused?"
Amelia stepped beside to show Frankenstein's naked upper body. She had removed his shirt to wipe his body clean with a wet cloth. But Frankenstein's body was weirdly muscular and toned. He even had a six packs abdomen.
"Damn! I'd never think Dr. Frankenstein is this strong."
Dr. Watson approached and poked Frankenstein's abs with his finger.

That night, Amelia stayed in the apartment to look after Victor Frankenstein. She wanted to make sure that his condition was stable.
Dr. Watson gave her the bed while he used a mattress and slept on the floor.
Moonlight pierced through the gap of the window blinds, painting a single bar of calm blue light onto Amelia's innocent face.
Cold wind blew onto her. Her eyelids fluttered and opened up.
"Didn't I close the window already?" Amelia rubbed her eyes tiredly.
She looked out the window and saw a pale face looking at her.
"What the hell?!" The girl screamed and fell off her bed.
The Undead broke through the window and rushed at her.
The commotion woke Dr. Watson up. He immediately grabbed his revolver.
However, before the doctor was able to fire, Carter rose above the ground. His shadow hand swiped the air, sending a dark fang over the Undead. It died in one hit.

"What even are you?" Amelia gasped.
"That is Frankenstein's shadow. It's his power." Dr. Watson loaded the bullets into his revolver and shot at another Undead that was climbing through.
The shadow glanced at Amelia. It had the shape of Dr. Frankenstein. More Undead rushed inside the house.
'More? This is not a simple outbreak, someone is attacking me.'
Carter jumped forward and transformed into a shadow tiger. He called upon the power of Primal Spiritualization and enhanced his beast form.
Carter didn't have Zodiac Formation so he couldn't use powerful techniques like Ginro Musashi Primal Spiritualization alone already made his animal form more powerful.
The shadow tiger bit an Undead that just climbed through the window and burst his head into a million pieces like a water melon.
The blood shot onto Amelia's face and caused her to scream even louder.
The main door was kicked open. Mrs. Hudson was also being attacked downstairs.
Carter's head snapped toward the stairs. He carefully assess the situation. There were only a few Undead climbing through the windows. Dr. Watson was a veteran warrior. He could take care of these Awaken Undead.
The shadow rushed out of the room and through the stairs. The door to Mrs. Hudson's room was blasted open.
Inside, an Undead pinned her on the ground and was about to bite her.
Mrs. Hudson closed her eyes, "My time has come..."
Carter kicked the Undead so hard, it flew through the wall and created a giant hole.
The shadow pulled Mrs. Hudson up.
"Oh! You must be the shadow." Mrs. Hudson sighed in relief.
Carter picked the old woman up and rushed out of the building. Some of the Undead were blocking the entrance.
The shadow flung his hand. The shadows of the Undead rose up and held them in place, allowing Carter to go through and get Mrs. Hudson to a safe area.
The Undead was attacking the house. They didn't bother chasing Carter and Mrs. Hudson when they got out.
Carter left Mrs. Hudson at an alley and quickly rushed back.
Even more Undead surrounded the house. There must be at least thirty of them.
'Come, my shadows.'
From the feet of Carter's black feet, more shadows reached out. He wasn't equipping Satan at the moment, but he still had Descension, Shadow Aura, and Shadow Force as Host's abilities.
And he had more than 10,000 shadows to use from.
The countless strips of shadow rose up from the ground. Each was a soul of a poor victim of Black Blood.
Carter stood and saw the shadow rushed in and tore the Undead apart.

The shadow disappeare from sight.

The Necromancer didn't realize that Carter was standing behind him.
