Carter transformed into a tall man with silver hair. His face had a large scar coming across the left ear through the left eye and stopped at the right cheek.
His hair was glimmering like actual silver.
’What kind of clothes this man should have? Witch cloak? Sorcerer robe?’
Carter looked himself in the mirror and imagined what this character should be like. It was a face of a hardened warrior that had seen too many battles and witnessed too many cruelty in the world.
He was.
"Ginro Musashi." Carter mumbled.
The name came to him naturally. And the clothes as well.
Carter used Ghost Clothes and materialized a suitable outfit for this skin. It was a white martial uniform with loose pants. It was designed based on the ’Gi’ that Carter saw back in Earth.
The back of the uniform had an abstract sketch of a wolf.
Carter clenched his hand and felt the unusual power within the skin. Fire enveloped around his fist.
’If I can find a way for Superhuman or Invoker to learn Twin Formation, their power would be enhanced ten folds. In order to do that, I need to retain this ability.’
Retaining an ability allowed him to have more understanding toward an ability or skill. It wasn’t just an aspect he had from a skin anymore and he could actually teach it to another being. Similar to Adrenaline. Carter already knew which aspect he would retain from Silver Invoker, if he can find out how the Skin gain Synchronization.
’There were a lot of deaths in the East Continent. I can probably turn all of them into Human Shards as well. 4 million deaths... should be more than enough for me to create an Elite Carter Hayes.’

Nina and Quill frowned as they saw the skinny man in Victorian style clothing. He looked like he was a time traveler from the past.
"Hello. Mister Caine has informed me that you may need my assistance?" Carter said.
Nina approached him and scanned him from head to toe.
"You are Victor Frankenstein?" Nina said.
Carter nodded, "Yes. Is something wrong?"
"No. Nothing wrong. You just... You look exactly how I expect you to be. Tell me, Dr. Frankenstein, do you wish to defeat death?"
Quill grabbed Nina from behind and covered her mouth. Nina had told him about Dr. Frankenstein’s story.
"This is not the time for that!" Quill whispered to her.
"Get off me!" Nina pushed Quill back.
The confused doctor look at them.
"Please ignore her. So Dr. Frankenstein, how are you intending to help us?" Quill said.
"First. Please allow me to sample your blood." Carter dropped the Brewer’s Chest on the ground.
He had already examined his own blood before. The blood of Carter Hayes Skin, so he already knew what was the difference between a Superhuman and a human.
While Corrupted Corps had Corruption inside their blood, Superhuman had Epinephrine.
Superhumans still had an Epinephrine level similar to ordinary human, around 100 pictograms per milliliter.
When human exercised, this amount jumped up several times and could end up around 400 to 500 pg/mL. When it came to fight or flight situation, like a real battle of life and death, this amount could jump up a hundred times and rest around 10,000 pg/mL.
But Epinephrine had limitations. Too much of it was still toxic, like every other element within the human body.
For Superhuman, they could naturally raise the Epinephrine level to 10,000 without a stress response. Additionally, if they really wanted more power, the level could jump up 40,000 or even 50,000 pictograms.
This amount should kill any ordinary human and caused a heart attack.
Superhuman could withstand it because their body was stronger and they learned Metabolism Manipulation, which avoided their heart to be broken down.
Carter had experimented excessively with the Shadow Apothecary and had come to a conclusion that to reach Awaken level and became a Superhuman, a Mortal needed to learn Metabolism Manipulation. This could be achieved naturally by intense unimaginable training in the right direction.
Or artificially with the help of a potion.
Carter examined Nina and Quill’s blood and created a formula for an experimental potion. He called this Heart Race. This could simulate the process of Awaken Adrenaline but protect the heart and kept it from going into cardiac arrest.
There were still risks involved, obviously. But it was minor enough that Carter willing to let it go.
He had collected quite a few ingredients in Corrupted Corps. Most of the ingredients needed were present but he needed a few more.
Luckily, it was easy to find substitutes in this world thanks to the Internet. By hacking into every available database using System Ghost, Carter found the alternative names for herbs he knew and many more plants that might be useful.
He spent a few weeks testing and creating the perfect Heart Race.
In these few weeks, Neros and Piper came over to ask about Zeneros all the time. Carter had to make an excuse that Zeneros was still injured and needed more time to heal.
Even General Dragovic wanted to meet the Eldritch Knight, Carter Caine had to figure out many lies to keep them away.
’I seriously need a cloning ability. An ability that can also make use of the Skin System.’
