’Still no Major Shard, huh? Reaching Major Awaken seems to be very difficult. Reaching Elite might even be harder.’
Carter spent a few days to completely upturn the entire cemetery. Because he had to fill them back up, it cost him more time than usual.
Once he finished, he got the hell out of there without looking back.
’I need an excavator skin or some mole that can dig through the ground. Hmm. Mole, huh? Why don’t I just buy some moles and turn it into skin shards? That would be much more efficient than this. I can even use it to rob graves from other world.’
Carter decided to buy some moles later. He returned to the mansion and began forging Invokers.
The hammer and anvil appeared again.

’Huh? So Invoker is similar to Human and Wolfman. They can be used as fillers as well.’
From what Carter had gathered, human-like or humanoid skin might be able to customize its look. While other types would provide specific skins like Terror or Undead.
’Invoker is basically just a human with additional power after all.’
[Invoker Skill List]: (Any skin can pick three) Abstraction; Conceptualization; Manifestation; Visualization; Volition.
’What the? What is even all these skills?’
Carter didn’t even understand half of what these kills were. He understood the words, yes, but what the actual skills did were a mystery.
Abstraction, the concept of vagueness and something that was hard to understand.
Conceptualization, the act of forming an idea, a principle, a theory, a plan, or any giving thought.
Manifestation, the sign of someone happening or the act of something being created, mostly figuratively.
Visualization, the act of forming an image, a thought, an action, or basically anything that was tangible. A more grounded approach compared to Conceptualization.
Volition, the power to decide. Simple and direct.
Carter rubbed his chins in deep thoughts. Invoker fought by materializing elements. Neros was fire. Piper was plant.
There were a few other elements as well. Water, wind, earth, etc.
Carter thought that maybe Invoker’s skills would revolve around Elemental Manipulation or Elemental Projection. But it wasn’t at all.
’Maybe I’m misunderstanding the core of the Invoker? They aren’t manipulating element. But if that is so, then what are they actually doing?’
There was no better way than to try it himself. He didn’t spend that much time on designing the ability and just used a default look for it.
Then Carter selected Abstraction, Conceptualization, and Manifestation for his first skin.

Carter transformed into the new Invoker. He sat down and carefully felt the power of his skin.
He finally understood what all of those skills were.
Abstraction dictated how many elements he could conjure at once. It was the volume of his attacks.
Conceptualization dictated how good he could control the manifestation. This was the precision.
Manifestation dictate the scale of the elements. This was basically pure firepower of his attacks.
Carter opened his hand and tried to form two elements. It didn’t work. Only chaotic energy floated in his hand. He switched to only manifest one.
A ball of fire appeared. It jumped around Carter following the thoughts in his head.
’Volume, precision, and power. What are Visualization and Volition then?’

Carter immediately made the second skin to test that out. He picked Manifestation, Visualization, and Volition.

Carter felt the power the second Invoker skin.
Visualization allowed him to shape the elements at his will. This allowed him to create transformations of the manifestation like how Neros used to make animals out of fire.
He summoned a water ball that transformed into dolphin that swam in the air. He couldn’t do that with the previous skin.
As for Volition, it was will power. Or more precisely, the stamina of the mind, the ’Mana’ of Invoker.
The more Volition he had, the more he could use his power.
’The five skills are the five aspects an Invoker needs to master. Volume, Precision, Power, Transformation, and Stamina. They were what the five skills actually affect.’
Carter couldn’t imagine how an Invoker fought without all five skills. He started to think back to Neros and Piper’s style.
Neros was very strong and very creative with his attacks. He could stay in battle for a long time too. He obviously had Manifestation, Visualization, and Volition.
Piper could summon a lot more projections at the same time then Neros. She could command her plants to do more complicated tasks like rooting or strangling an enemy. She probably had Abstraction and Conceptualization. Her third skill could either be Manifestation or Volition as she was both very powerful and resilient.
’But why did they need a Brush but I don’t?’
That was a mystery that Carter couldn’t figure. He intended to ask them more about it later.
As of now, Carter planned on what he should do with the Invoker Skins.
The Invokers had no other skills or abilities except from their main power. That would make them extremely weak. Carter still had Human and Wolfman Shards left. He rubbed his hands together and began his crazy experiment.
