Ming was just about to answer when he was stopped by Ling.
"Senior brother, can you tell us in detail what this field in the east entails and how high the rent is?"

They simply registered and rented a small courtyard for 100 spirit stones yearly, since they had to rent a property in the city according to regulations, and also to have a residence in the city in case they needed it for anything. They also offered Fengyu to use it if he needed it.
After completing everything, the three walked out of the city administration office.
From now on they would have to do everything related to their lease in the Renting Office to the side.
This office only handled superficial work related to leases. In Fengyu’s case he could directly rent a field with his special recommendation, but those renting in the north usually had various complications. Besides that, the administration office could also handle the renewal of leases, which is likely to allow cultivators with several enquiries to complete it in one place.
But renting anything besides special cases requires visiting the Renting Office.

In the northeast the fields with lower numbers were ’worth’ more, while those in the southeast valued those with higher numbers more...
The closer one was to the southern gate, the better the spot.
