The estimations for the next beast tide is that it will happen in five to six years, lowering the prices quite significantly.

On the other hand, only those with letters of recommendation like yours can rent fields in the east –

The various peaks offer a huge line of protection defending against nearly all beasts.

Even when beasts happen to cross the peaks, they usually ignore the small fields and directly storm towards the eastern gate.

Only weaker beasts, often no more than the first stage, will attack these fields.

Naturally their sheer number will make defending quite difficult, but with enough effort, it’s quite possible to defend it.

Those who rent these fields are at the first and second stage, and there are more at the second stage than at the first stage. So even if a second stage beast attacks, the local communities usually protect each other, ensuring only those of the same stage attack each other.

Though all these benefits come down to two requirements –

First, you only get one chance to rent this field.
