"Yes!" Caelus and Sylvia both spoke at once.
Their figures flickered, and the next moment, they were standing inside what appeared to be a vast, sandy desert.
"It’s a desert?" Caelus tilted his head in interest.

Following that, a map appeared.
Around them, several names lit up.

"At least it isn’t as bad as when we went to the middle expanse," Sylvia added.
"You are right." Caelus nodded with a sigh. "We should make the most out of it while we are here."
Sylvia nodded as she turned to look around her.
"So this is the infamous Divine Nations that everyone was talking about in the forums." Sylvia looked thoughtful.
Skriek!
Just then, the desert below them began to rapidly quiver. The following instant, a gigantic red scorpion erupted from the sand.

Its tail shot towards both Sylvia and Caelus with immense speed, but before it could reach them, Caelus caught the scorpion’s tail with his bare hands.
"Heh." Caelus smiled coldly. His muscles bulged as he pulled with one hand.
Swoosh!
The next moment, the scorpion was hoisted into the sky. Without hesitation, Caelus brought it slamming down into the sand with immense force.
Boom!
The instant it hit the ground, Caelus jumped high into the air.

Brrt! Boom!
His leg cleanly struck the scorpion, vaporizing it in an instant.

Due to the effects Rookie God Title, both of them received the same amount of EXP and origin credits.
"Level 3 from the start. Not bad." Caelus said as he began the extraction. He also beckoned Sylvia to begin her extraction process.

Caelus smiled seeing this. The extraction yielded a better result than he resulted.
Sylvia’s current combat score also increased as she took out her sword. She overlapped it with her progenitor sword, realizing she had the ability to do so.
She initially had a 1.51 Iron II combat score from the time they went into the middle expanse. Once she got her legendary blood-moon sword, it increased by 6, rounding it to around 7.67 from all the level-ups from level 15 to 21.
The amount a level-up from Iron I could increase was simply not enough for the combat score of Iron II.
After her skills recalibrated, she decided to fuse her progenitor sword with the Blood Moon sword. This brought her to a total base combat score of 13.43, bolstered by the passive buff of +3 combat score from the progenitor sword and her level-up to level 1.
As she was right now, her base combat score was higher than Caelus’s.
"By the way, Caelus, do you want to check out the monster compass? We might get a hit at Lord Tier, which will be useful to level up fast," Sylvia suggested.
"You are right." Caelus nodded. "Let’s use it."
He took the monster compass out. It was actually a small console with a display screen.

Their eyes immediately lit up hearing this.
This was perfect.
"Shall we head out, Miss Sylvia?" Caelus asked.
"Yes!" Sylvia cheered as she jumped into his embrace.

Like a cannonball, Caelus’s figure shot towards the area located on the monster compass. It was within the area of Divine Region of Fire.
Soon, they appeared at the entrance of a deep crater. Without hesitation, they jumped in.
Their figures blurred as they passed through a thin barrier.

[This monster den has scorpion type monsters. Proceed with caution!]
Skrrrk!
The hollow chittering of monsters rang within the area. It was a space filled with holes lining the walls of the deep crater, leading to an open center.
Immediately, almost ten scorpions jumped out from the holes.
Shrirrk!
They were all common Red General Scorpions, each at level 3 or 4.
But Caelus and Sylvia didn’t attack right away.
They waited for the rest to come out, casually dodging the initial strikes.
[Poison Dart]!
The scorpions, seeing their prey dodge, activated their skills. Arrows made of purple toxin shot toward them, but the duo’s speed was far beyond what the beasts could handle.
"Caelus, can I deal with the normal monsters~" Sylvia asked with a gleeful smile. "You deal with the Tyrant and Lord types."
"Sure." Caelus said with a thin smile.
He knew her intention.
After this was over, she would probably be bathed in blood.
There was a reason why she kept the common skill Cleanse on her.
"Hehehe." Sylvia chuckled softly as she turned to face the hundred or more scorpions that had now swarmed the open area.
"I will let you all die peacefully." A grin formed on Sylvia’s face as she licked her lips and raised her hand.
The next moment, she slit her own wrist.
Blood began to rapidly ooze out. The crimson liquid morphed into a long spike that tore through the air.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
It pierced more than a dozen scorpions in a single second. The following moment, Sylvia licked her own blood from her fingers, mumbling with a small smile.
"Blood Fire. Fire Blitz."

The blood spikes that had pierced through the group of scorpions suddenly burst into violent flames.
Then, a sound like a massive war horn rang out.
Boom!
As if hit by a chain of bombs, the scorpions exploded. Their red blood burst out into the open. Sylvia slowly walked toward the remaining scorpions amidst the rain of blood, her eyes glowing red with a menacing look. Her figure became completely bathed in blood, but she didn’t mind. She just kept walking forward with that same dangerous smile.
Caelus, watching this from afar, facepalmed.
Sylvia’s bloodlust was a bit too much, but it was within his expectations. She was a vampire, after all.
Sighing, he turned to face his four targets as the level-up notification rang out.

By now, Sylvia had cleared every minor monster in the area with her crazy blood skills, amassing the 200 EXP needed for both of them to reach level 2.

Without hesitation, Caelus activated his Chaos Perception Eyes. The world around him shifted, and the four bosses immediately fell into a conceptual stun, their massive bodies freezing entirely.
Capitalizing on this, he activated Spirit Tether. energy shot out, connecting the four beasts together. He locked onto the Lord type on the left as his primary target. Now, the remaining three would suffer eighty percent of any damage he inflicted on the leader.
Immediately after, he followed up with Thunderclap and activated Tremor.
With a two times critical scaler from his eyes and a +2 CS from Tremor, and Thunderclap skill, he was at a state where the damage he dealt would be equivalent to 21, 22 CS with Lightning Singularity or 23 with Aura density!

Crackling, destructive energy gathered around his hand. Caelus made a gun gesture and pointed it directly at the black-winged Lord scorpion.

A piercing beam of high-voltage electricity erupted from his fingertips and struck the beast dead center.

The strike instantly applied Chaos Erosion to the main target, and through the Spirit Tether, the corrosive damage cascaded onto the other three beasts.
Breaking out of their stun, the remaining scorpions screeched in agony and retaliated, launching a rapid succession of [Poison Darts].
Caelus remained perfectly calm.
His Projection Frame activated, calculating the exact trajectory of every projectile. He skipped out of the danger zone with fluid, effortless movements. His speed was currently six times his combat score; beasts with such meager stats simply could not track him.
In the blink of an eye, he launched himself into the air, appearing directly above the main scorpion’s head.

His leg, wreathed in explosive force, crashed straight into the beast’s head, striking its critical point flawlessly. The massive creature slammed into the ground with a deafening thud.
There was no resistance. It was a clean execution.
