[BL] The Mafia Boss Wants My Body

Chapter 368: EPILOGUE: THE FINAL 2

Five years ago, Matteo and Adrian stood side by side, making their vows before their family and friends, promising to spend the rest of their lives together.

Looking back now, it was hard to believe how quickly time had passed. Four years had gone by since they first held their four miracle babies in their arms, the day Matteo had stood in the hospital room, completely overwhelmed, tears streaming down his face as he looked at their newborns, hardly able to believe that such a beautiful reality was finally theirs.

Now, they were only days away from celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary.

The sprawling, sunlit garden behind their estate was filled with the sound of running feet and children’s laughter. Matteo and Adrian stood on the manicured lawn, watching their four-year-old children race across the grass, their little figures darting through the afternoon sunlight.

"Careful, Alexo! Don’t run too fast!" Adrian called out with a fond laugh, shielding his eyes from the sun as he watched his energetic son chase after his brother.

Alexo Marcone Grayson, fearless and full of mischief, flashed a brilliant grin over his shoulder before dashing toward the flowerbeds. Right behind him was his twin brother, Havien Marcone Grayson, laughing as he tried to catch up, his dark curls bouncing with every step.

A few feet away, their little twin sisters were busy with a much quieter game. Xaviera Marcone Grayson sat cross-legged on a velvet picnic blanket, carefully arranging her toy tea set while her sister, Xylena Marcone Grayson, sat beside her, handing her tiny porcelain cups with complete seriousness. Xylena, always the more observant and gentle one, leaned over to fix a loose bow in Xaviera’s hair, earning a sweet, gap-toothed smile from her sister.

Matteo stood nearby, his hands tucked into the pockets of his trousers as he watched the four children. There was still a look of wonder in his eyes, even after four years of being their father.

Adrian felt a warm arm wrap around his waist, pulling him back against Matteo’s familiar chest. He tilted his head back against Matteo’s shoulder, a contented sigh leaving his lips.

"Look at them," Matteo murmured, his voice filled with an emotion that still caught in his throat after all these years. "Our whole world, running right across the grass."

Adrian smiled and turned slightly in his husband’s embrace, wrapping his arms around Matteo’s neck. He reached up and gently brushed a stray lock of dark hair from Matteo’s forehead.

"Four years ago, you cried like a baby when we first held them in that delivery room," Adrian teased softly, his eyes filled with affection.

Matteo chuckled and pressed a lingering kiss to Adrian’s temple. He didn’t even try to deny it.

"Can you blame me?" Matteo whispered, his eyes shining as he looked down at his husband. "I spent my whole life surrounded by darkness, Adrian. I never thought I would have a family of my own. And looking at them, looking at you, I still feel like the luckiest man alive."

"We built this," Adrian whispered. "All of it."

"And in just a few days, we’ll be celebrating five years of marriage," Matteo added, tightening his arm around Adrian’s waist before pressing a soft kiss to his lips.

Across the lawn, Alexo and Havien suddenly came running toward them, calling for their fathers to join the game. Xaviera and Xylena followed hand in hand, each holding up a small daisy they had picked for their papas.

Matteo and Adrian pulled apart just in time to catch the children, scooping them into their arms as laughter filled the garden.

Surrounded by the beautiful, chaotic life they had built together, they knew every difficult moment had been worth it.

They had faced everything that had once stood between them, surviving the darkest corners of their past to build a life filled with love and family.

Looking back at the people who had been part of their journey, they realized that everyone had found their own happiness.

Mark and Charles were now happily married, enjoying a peaceful life together.

Maxwell and James had finally decided to build their future together abroad, and James had moved there to live with him.

Frank had overcome the obstacles standing between him and Prince Raphael. After the royal family finally accepted their relationship, the two of them began planning their wedding.

Even Tony had found someone who loved him fiercely, proving that love could find its way into the most unexpected places.

As the afternoon sun dipped low, casting a warm golden glow over the estate, Matteo and Adrian gathered their children from the garden. One of their bodyguards quickly stepped forward and held the heavy glass doors open as they carried the children inside.

The moment they entered the spacious living room, the peaceful afternoon turned into a hilarious little battle.

Havien, Xaviera, and Xylena wanted to watch cartoons, but Alexo crossed his tiny arms and planted his feet firmly on the rug.

"Cartoons! We want cartoons!" Havien, Xaviera, and Xylena shouted together, immediately making a beeline for the massive television screen.

"I don’t want cartoons! I want to watch sports!" Alexo announced stubbornly.

Havien looked at him and shook his head. "We want to watch cartoons, Alexo. You should watch cartoons with us or go upstairs to sleep."

Alexo narrowed his eyes. "No, I’m not going to sleep! You three go upstairs and sleep so I can watch sports!"

Xylena blinked and tilted her head. "Why don’t you just go to your room and watch sports there?"

Alexo pointed at her. "You be quiet! You should go to your room and watch cartoons."

Xaviera immediately stepped in front of her sister, her eyes flashing. "Don’t talk to my sister like that!"

"I’m your brother too!" Alexo argued. "And both of you should go upstairs and watch TV in your rooms!"

Havien stood his ground, glaring at his twin. "They’re going nowhere. You should be the one to leave."

Alexo puffed out his chest, full of stubbornness. "I won’t leave! And when I speak, you should all listen to me!"

Standing by the doorway, Matteo and Adrian watched the spectacle unfold. Matteo took one look at Alexo’s posture and immediately recognized his own stubbornness in his son.

Stepping forward, Matteo tried to settle the argument. "Hey, boys and girls, you can watch one cartoon, and then—"

Before Matteo could finish, Alexo threw his hands up and shouted, "No, Daddy! Send the three of them upstairs to their rooms! I want to watch TV right here in the living room!"

Matteo went still. His eyes narrowed slightly as he looked down at his son. "Did you just cut me off while I was speaking?"

Realization instantly hit Alexo. His fiery defiance vanished, replaced by panic. He rushed forward and wrapped his little arms tightly around Matteo’s leg. "I’m sorry, Daddy! But I want to watch sports, not cartoons!"

Havien calmly turned to his sisters. "What cartoon do you want to watch?"

Xaviera chirped, "Sofia the First or Cinderella!"

Hearing that, Alexo threw another fit, tugging frantically at Matteo’s clothes. "No, ooooh! I want to watch sports!"

Adrian stood by the couch, covering his mouth as he laughed at the chaos.

Matteo looked down at the boy tugging at his clothes, a muscle twitching in his jaw. "Apologize first."

Alexo sniffled, looking up with wide, watery eyes. "Daddy, please... I’m sorry."

Matteo softened and ran a hand through his hair. "Just watch with your brothers and sisters."

Alexo stomped his foot. "No, ooooh! I don’t want Cinderella!" Tears welled up in his eyes, and he started crying loudly.

Havien let out a long breath, acting like the mature older brother. "Fine. We’ll let you have the TV." He turned to his sisters and nodded toward the stairs. "Come on, let’s go upstairs."

The three of them turned around and started walking toward the stairs. But the second they left, Alexo panicked. He immediately stood up and hurried after them.

Havien stopped and turned around, raising an eyebrow. "What now?"

Alexo mumbled, wiping his nose. "I want to come with you."

Xylena blinked at him. "We’re leaving the TV in the living room for you. Isn’t that enough?"

Alexo shook his head quickly. "I’ll watch with you! And... and you can watch sports with me later, right?"

The three siblings exchanged a quiet, understanding look before nodding in agreement.

Without another word, they all went back to the sectional sofa together. Alexo squeezed in beside Havien. A few seconds later, something funny happened on the screen, and all four of them burst into bright laughter.

Adrian leaned against Matteo, shaking his head with a fond smile. He looked up at his husband. "Alexo gets all your stubbornness, you know. And you always give in eventually."

Matteo smiled softly, pulling Adrian closer against his side. "Yet you love me so much."

Adrian beamed up at him. "And you love me too."

They both smiled as they watched their children settle into peaceful harmony. Hand in hand, Matteo and Adrian moved over to sit...
