Chapter 278: 3 Vs 1
BOOOOOM, the ocean exploded raising a mountain of water and waves as tall as skyscrapers.
Adrian appeared where Render has been carrying a massive silver sword. Before he could react a bolt of lightning hit him on the chest.
He flew back like a silver streak sailing tens of kilometres before hitting the ocean like a meteor.
He flew out and looked at Ben whose body was covered in purple lightning. Dark clouds gathered above them.
Lightning danced through them like snakes, the three of them stood next to each other and faced him.
Adrian wasn’t at full power to begin with, he wasn’t arrogant enough to believe he could take on all three while holding back.
So far he’s relied on his void tunneling skill to catch them off guard but that would be harder from now on.
The void tunneling had a weakness, it couldn’t tunnel through esper and their esper was too thick.
At most he could tunnel until a metre away from them, of course a distance of a metres was basically instantaneous to him.
But it was the same for them, if they’re prepared for him as they are, that distance would be wide enough for them to intercept whatever he tried.
He knew from now on, the fight would be a frontal battle with everybody going all out. His body started changing.
In a blink of an eye he became a silver werewolf standing nearly four metres tall with muscles as thick as logs.
" Grrrrrrrr." A low growl vibrated the ocean for hundreds of kilometres, it rattled the bones of the Espara.
However Adrian wasn’t done, a giant wheel appeared behind him, its size had shrunk to merely a hundred metres but its power was no less.
Full body armour flew out the wheel, it wrapped itself around his body turning him into an armoured werewolf.
Next a chains flew out and wrapped itself around his upper body with both ends of the chains floating on his sides.
Then a spear landed on his right hand, his aura started rising rapidly and the ocean below him froze over.
Render’s face turned grim, " Those weapons, each one has as much power as this castle, no they might be stronger."
The other two turned grim as well, they had witnessed the power that of that castle and it wasn’t anything to scoff off.
Now he’s brought out three weapons with similar power to the castle. Immediately they released their domains.
Adrian responded in kind, four domains clashed and Adrian’s was the weaker one, it was pushed back rapidly.
Just before it crumbled, the wheel started spinning and the core sent a visible ribbon of energy into his back.
This new flood of pure lunar esper allowed him to forcefully raise the strength of his domain.
This placed an even higher strain on his esper veins but he ignored that, he would deal with it later.
His domain grew rapidly in strength and started pushing back. The clash on domains shook the world around them.
The ocean churned, it was cut apart by the invisible weapons in the domain of metal, twisted by the domain of space with water flowing up and to the side like inverted rivers.
Boiled by the thunderous bolts of lightning falling from the domain of lightning and frozen by the lunar domain.
Winds howled and screamed across the sky as the calamitous clash affected thousands of kilometres of the ocean.
The poor fish dwelling below barely had a chance to react before their bodies crumbled to dust.
Somewhere nearly 15 thousand kilometres away, a group of humans heads rose up from the ocean.
Their eyes watched the calamitous clash with a flicker of fear and hope before sinking back under the ocean.
Adrian felt his domain cracking but it was the same for the others, they all knew if they continued their domains would shatter.
They cancelled them then faced each other, Adrian moved first. The ocean exploded below him as he took to the skies.
He moved as fast as lightning itself covering the distance between them in a blink of an eye.
His spear lashed out heading for Siri’s chest, Render appeared in front of her with his giant sword swinging at Adrian’s head from above.
Clang, the sword and spear clashed, a shockwave spread out creating winds so heavy they formed tornadoes.
Both of them retreated hundreds of metres from the clash, a bolt of lightning appeared next to Adrian before he could adjust himself.
It was Ben, he sent a kick flickering with purple lightning so strong it burnt the air itself.
Adrian raised his left hand to block, the kick was too fast, he didn’t block fast enough and it landed on his face.
His armour blocked most of it but the lightning still managed to go through and burnt the fur off his face.
Adrian shot down as fast as lightning but before he hit the ocean he disappeared. " Behind you!" Siri shouted.
Adrian appeared behind Ben with his mouth wide open, a beam of silver light pierced through the air heading for Ben’s back.
Ben knew he couldn’t dodge it, it was too fast and the distance was too close, his lightning gathered behind him.
A tiger head made of purple lightning appeared from his back and clashed with the moonlight beam.
BOOOOOM, explosion of steam and smoke hit them both sending them flying tens of kilometres away.
The smoke covered tens of kilometres blocking their eyes, Render heard the rattling of chains.
Before he could react, two chains shot out of the smoke lunging at him and Siri like serpents.
The chains were moving too fast, Siri teleported away dodging it but he wasn’t fast enough.
It wrapped around his body binding him tightly then spikes grew on the chain trying to stab into his body.
Unfortunately for Adrian, Render’s armour was incredibly durable, the silver spikes generated sparks when they grinded against the armour like a chainsaw.
Render’s face remained calm, be flexed his muscles trying to break the chain but realised he couldn’t even make it budge.
He realised he wouldn’t be able to escape on his own but that became the least of his worries soon after.
The chain started draining the esper off his armour, he felt himself slowly losing control over it.
For the first time Render truly felt panick, ’ How is this possible? He’s removing my esper from the armour.
If this continues, it will just turn into a heavy piece of junk, no I can’t let him.’ he grinded his teeth.
" AHHHHHH!" With a roar he used all of his power to try and break the chain but no matter how hard he tried he just couldn’t.
" Horizon Break."
