Chapter 88: Baron Ezell
Suzie arrived to clean Adrian’s house, she has been doing this often lately, she would take care of Sanchez’s house with the others.
At night she would come to clean his house and cook before going back, a few minutes after her arrival, Suki showed up.
" Boss, something has happened." She took out a bleeding heart, Adrain could smell the vampire on it.
His eyes turned cold, " What happened." He asked, Suki told him everything and Adrain saw the red.
Suzie and Suki felt the entire house shaking but it wasn’t just his house, the entire city block was shaking like there was an earthquake.
A low growl reverberated across the entire street like the snores of a wolf savage beast terrifying the people.
" Go back you your duty." He told Suki and was about to leave when Suzie appeared behind him.
" Please, let me accompany you my lord." She bowed, Adrain didn’t say anything and left.
He used his telekinesis and picked both of them to the sky and they flew south, his mind was buzzing with thought of destruction.
A near uncontrollable rage boiled inside him,’ Sorry Meggie, it seems I can’t remain hidden after all.’
The vampires have touched his bottom line and to think he was contemplating stopping the war for the time being.
It didn’t take long for them to arrive at the territory of the vampires, they floated nearly 500 metres in the sky.
Below them was huge mansion that had an ancient style to it, it is believed to have stood since the creation of this town.
Adrain looked down coldly with his hands in his pockets, silver light gathered in front of him and in a split second became a massive paw of a wolf.
The wolf paw was nearly a hundred metres large. It dropped like a silver moon, the air froze in its path.
Inside the mansion, baron Ezell was having night time with three female vampires, he was in a good mood.
His subordinates has discovered the wolf boy had a connection to two human girls, Ezell figured they were his pets.
He and other vampires did have humans like that but they did not care about them, still if somebody killed them, it would be an insult.
That was his idea, to kill the two girl which would be a slight slap on Adrian’s face, the boy might retaliate but it shouldn’t be something huge.
Suddenly he felt a tremendous amount of esper in the sky. The temperature dropped and a feeling of death overwhelmed him, his body turned into a cloud of bats and he flew out of the window.
When he turned back he saw a giant wolf paw made of moon light descending from the sky.
In a blink of an eye it hit his mansion and all he saw was a flash, his subordinates did not even have a chance to scream before they died.
A wave of silver energy spread out and froze everything solid. Only a few vampires, less than 30 were left alive.
And only because they were outside and far from the point of collision. Ezell’s red eyes turned even redder with rage.
He looked up and saw Adrain but then he realised he couldn’t clearly sense his power, this meant Adrian was either hiding it or...he didn’t dare finish the thought.
Adrain wasn’t hiding his power obviously but the difference in their rank was too hard, at level 1, sensing his power was easy.
At level 2, his esper and soul had undergone huge changes like a butterfly coming out of a cocoon.
While they were in the same level, in fact Ezell could be considered higher since he had been a level 2 for centuries.
Adrain was on a completely different scale as an existence, a primordial of any race was not something a mere duke baron could compare to.
To be safe, Ezell immediately used blood morphis, another ability of noble vampires, his body changed.
His nailed turned into pitch black claws, his ears grew longer and pointy and he grew a pair of bat like wings on his back.
" AHHHHH." He roared, BOOOOM, the air shattered and he turned into a streak of red light and flew at Adrain.
Adrain watched him without a change in expression, " Finish off the rest." Suzie bowed and he dropped her.
Then he turned towards Ezell who was flying at him and moved, all Ezell saw was a blur and the next thing he knew his body was embedded on the ground.
He coughed up blood and his bones and organs had shattered, fortunately he was a vampire and it would take a lot to take him down.
His body started regenerating rapidly and it was even faster in his blood morphis state, unfortunately this form drained too much blood esper to maintain.
He crawled out of the large crater and faced Adrian and all he felt was fear. " What is the meaning of this king of the wolves?"
He didn’t even notice he wasn’t calling him the wolf boy anymore. " Do you intend to start an all out war with vampires?"
Adrain didn’t respond and just glared at him with cold silver eyes. His long silver hair danced in the wind like moon light.
Ezell realised talking would serve no purpose, he had sent a signal to the other two, he just needed to buy time.
’ No matter how powerful the king of the wolves is, he certainly can’t defeat all three of us.’
He thought yet when he looked at Adrain, the sudden thought that maybe he could bloomed in his head.
Ezell roared like a mad beast, blood converged around him and turned into a giant sphere of blood.
He threw it at Adrain, it exploded and turned into a blood wave that crashed towards Adrain.
’ As soon as the blood wave engulfs him, I’ll turn it solid and trap him inside, then I’ll use that opportunity to run.
I’ll make a new army then come back and wipe out everything he cares for.’ Ezell thought with a malicious smile.
Adrain didn’t move, the blood wave more than five metres high crashed on him then turned solid.
It became harder than steel, using that opportunity Ezell turned around to fly then he heard glass shattering behind him.
He turned his head back and saw the crystallized blood in fragments but Adrain was nowhere to be seen.
Ptsss, something pierced through his chest, he looked down and saw a hand piercing through chest.
He raised his head and saw two silver orbs glaring at him and through them he saw an endlessly large moon crashing on top of him.
Its weight pressed on his shoulders like the world itself. He knew right then, he had poked a hornets nest.
" Please." He coughed up blood, something was weakening him. " If you kill me, my family will come after you."
He threatened yet he saw no fear in his eyes, Adrain drew closer, " You should not have touched her." He whispered coldy and ripped out his heart.
Ezell’s last thoughts were regret, he cursed the subordinates who told him about those girls.
