Tang San sat up, even though his body felt weak and heavy. His eyes were filled with suspicion as he stared at the man he thought was the Seventh Elder. He shook his head and spoke in a scratchy, tired voice. "No! I won't do it. I have to see my Eldest Uncle and my Aunt with my own eyes first!" He took a deep breath, trying to find some strength.

"Right now, it is just you and me in this room. There are no other witnesses. If I give you the secret and then you go back on your word, I have no one to help me. I am not handing over the Ring Explosion technique until they are standing right here!"

Hearing this, the fake Seventh Elder, who was actually Tang Chen in disguise, made sure to look very annoyed. He scowled and acted like he was thinking about what to do. Finally, he let out a loud, angry snort as if he were giving in just to get the secret faster.

"Fine! You are a very suspicious brat! I will do what you want this one time. Stay here and don't move. I'll go get the Sect Master and Yuehua!" With those words, he turned around and walked out, slamming the heavy stone door behind him with a loud bang.

As soon as he was out of Tang San's sight, the angry look on Tang Chen's face disappeared. He smiled coldly because his plan was working perfectly. He moved quickly to a quiet corner where no one could see him and let his spirit power flow.

Suddenly, his blood-red second spirit ring began to glow brightly. He used his second spirit ability, the Blue Silver Avatar. In a flash of light, two more figures appeared next to him. They looked exactly like the Seventh Elder, even having the same aura.

Before these two clones could even move, Tang Chen's red first spirit ring lit up as well. He used his Simulation Soul Skill and pointed his hand at the two new figures. A strange, invisible power wrapped around them. The two clones started to twist and change like a reflection in moving water.

Their height, their faces, and even their clothes shifted rapidly. In just a few seconds, the two extra Seventh Elders were gone. Standing there instead were the stern Sect Master, Tang Xiao, and the elegant Tang Yuehua. They looked perfect, from their facial features down to the way their spirit power felt.

Tang Chen looked at his work and nodded, feeling very satisfied. He gave a small nod to the clones of Tang Xiao and Tang Yuehua. They nodded back at the same time, as if all three of them were sharing one mind. A few minutes later, the fake Tang Xiao and Tang Yuehua pushed open the stone door with very serious faces. They walked into the room where Tang San was being kept.

Inside the cold stone room, Tang San had been waiting and feeling very nervous. When he saw his Eldest Uncle and Aunt walk in together, he felt a huge weight lift off his chest. He stopped being so worried and let his guard down.

The fake Seventh Elder came in first with a grumpy face, though he acted like he was trying to be patient for the good of the Sect. The fake Tang Xiao looked very important and powerful, but when he looked at Tang San, his eyes seemed full of pity and sadness. Tang Yuehua's eyes looked red as if she had been crying. She rushed over to Tang San's side and spoke softly. "Little San, you have been through so much..."

Seeing his family and hearing his aunt's kind words made Tang San feel like he could finally relax. All the pain and fear he had been holding in for days almost made him cry. "Eldest Uncle... Aunt..." he whispered.

The fake Tang Xiao sighed, his voice sounding deep and full of authority. "Little San, things are very bad right now. You have to understand that we cannot ignore the Sect rules. Your father committed a crime by teaching you the Ring Explosion in secret. And making the Clear Sky Hammer look the way you did... it is a huge embarrassment for all of us!"

"Seventh Uncle!" the fake Tang Yuehua said, sounding upset. "Stop it! Little San knows he did something wrong." She turned back to Tang San and spoke with a very serious and helpful tone. "Little San, the only way to save yourself is to give the Ring Explosion secret back to the Sect. This is your only chance to make things right. If you hand it over, your uncle and I, and even the Elders, will try to be kind. We can save your life and your spirit!"

Tang Xiao nodded, and his voice got a little softer. "That's right. Giving us the incantation is the only choice you have left. As a member of the Tang Clan, it is your job to help the Sect. If you show us you are sorry and give us the secret, I promise as the Sect Master that I will keep you safe from any worse punishment."

They were working together perfectly—one was being mean while the others were being kind. Between the threats and the hope of staying alive, Tang San's will finally broke. He looked at his uncle's stern face and his aunt's sad eyes, and then he thought about how much the Seventh Elder wanted to kill him. He gave up. He realized that staying alive was more important than anything else.

After a moment, Tang San looked up. His eyes looked tired and dull. He spoke in a weak voice. "Eldest Uncle, I want to give it to you. But when my father taught me the truth of the Ring Explosion, I didn't learn all the words and the mental techniques by heart yet..."

Everyone's face changed when they heard that. The fake Seventh Elder even shouted, "Brat, are you trying to trick us again?"

Tang San shook his head quickly. He struggled to reach for the Twenty Four Moonlit Bridges belt at his waist. A small light flashed, and a piece of old, yellow parchment appeared in his hand. "My father gave me this. It has the whole Ring Explosion secret written on it," Tang San said, holding it out. "The secret is right here. I am giving it to the Sect now."

The fake Tang Xiao's eyes got sharp. He stepped forward and grabbed the paper. It felt heavy and old in his hand. He could see lots of tiny characters and drawings showing how energy should move. It looked like something from a very long time ago.

While this was happening, the real leaders were in the Clear Sky Sect's meeting hall. They had finally finished talking about the alliance between the Sect, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School, and the Heaven Dou Empire. They agreed that in one month, the Clear Sky Sect would open its doors to the world again. They would send out their best disciples to work with the empire's army and the Seven Treasure School to stop Spirit Hall from taking over everything.

A few minutes later, Ning Fengzhi smiled and said goodbye to Tang Xiao and the Elders. He took the signed agreement and left with the Bone Douluo. They were heading back to Heaven Dou City to tell Emperor Xue Ye the good news.

The Second Elder watched them go until they disappeared into the mountain mist. He stroked his beard and looked worried. "Sect Master, Spirit Hall is at its strongest right now, and we have been hidden for a long time. Is it really smart to go out and fight them face-to-face? Are we moving too fast?"

Tang Xiao turned around and looked at all the Elders. He looked more serious than he ever had before. "Second Elder, I know you are worried. But things have changed. Look at what happened to the Seven Treasure School and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. Spirit Hall wants to control everyone!" He shook his head. Tang Xiao took a deep breath and tried to push down his feelings. He nodded. "Alright. Let's go. Seventh Elder, Second Elder, come with me..." Tang Xiao led the way toward the back mountain where the stone room was. The Elders followed him closely. The air felt thick and heavy, like a big storm was about to start. They all thought they were going to get a treasure and punish a bad student. They had no idea that a much bigger surprise was waiting for them inside that room.

At the same time, deep inside the Star Dou Great Forest, things were very different. This was a place where giant trees and vines made it dangerous for almost anyone to visit. But right now, the forest felt terrifyingly quiet because of a huge amount of pressure.

Bibi Dong was leading about ten Titled Douluo, including Gui Mei. They were moving through the trees quietly, but their power was so great that any ten-thousand-year spirit beasts nearby ran away in fear.

"Yue Guan! Are you sure the two hundred-thousand-year beasts are near here?" Bibi Dong asked. Her purple eyes looked around the dark forest, and she sounded a bit annoyed.

The Chrysanthemum Douluo, Yue Guan, bowed quickly. "Yes, Your Excellency! We have checked many clues from other beast dens. The Titan Giant Ape and the Sky Azure Bull Python live near this lake. They have been seen here many times." Bibi Dong just nodded and didn't say anything else. She slowly closed her eyes.

Suddenly, a massive amount of mental power spread out from her. It was much stronger than any normal Titled Douluo's power. It flowed over everything like a wave. She could feel the lake, the plants, and even the beasts hiding deep in the water. Soon, she found what she was looking for: two giant life forces.

One was hiding behind a massive old tree. It was trying to hide its aura, but its spirit power was so strong it felt like the heat from the center of the earth. The other was deep at the bottom of the calm lake. That one felt even more powerful and cold, like a dragon sleeping in the water. It was the Sky Azure Bull Python. It was hiding very well, but Bibi Dong's mental power was too strong to be fooled.

"I found them! The Titan Giant Ape is behind that big tree to the northeast. The Sky Azure Bull Python is at the bottom of the lake!" Bibi Dong opened her eyes, and they glowed with purple and gold light. She pointed her staff forward and spoke in a cold voice. "Everyone, get ready. Follow the plan. Separate them and finish this quickly! Attack!"

Her voice sounded like thunder! The Titled Douluo all jumped into action like arrows being shot from a bow. Their spirit rings lit up the dark forest as if it were day. Some of them charged at the giant tree, using their spirit abilities to blast the area and force the ape to show itself. Others who were good at fighting in water dove straight into the lake, heading for the python.

"Roar—!!!"

"Moo—!!!"

The whole forest shook as the two beasts roared at the same time. The Titan Giant Ape's mountain-sized body smashed through the tree it was hiding behind. It pounded its chest and roared with anger. Its dark gold fur looked like metal as it punched at the incoming attacks. At the same time, the surface of the Lake of Life exploded upward.

A giant creature with a bull's head and a snake's body covered in green scales flew out of the water. Its eyes were full of fire as it opened its mouth and shot a blast of lightning at the humans who had invaded its home.
