Remarriage Failed Again Today

Chapter 697: Remember Who Brought All This Upon You

Vivian Yates was sprawled on the floor, tears streaming down her face as she spoke in despair, "Then you tell me, what other choice do I have besides death? My parents are gone, and my life is in ruins. Am I supposed to live in someone else’s shadow forever? I’d rather just die! At least I could keep my dignity instead of enduring this agonizing torment!"

"Dignity?"

Chase Lynch scoffed. "The moment you become the weakling, the loser, you lose all dignity. Dignity is something you reclaim for yourself, not a gift from others."

As he spoke, he slowly crouched down. His hand gripped her chin like a vice, and his smile was that of a cold-blooded demon. "Vivian Yates, I don’t care whether you truly have dignity, or whether you live or die. But don’t you forget our agreement. In this world, no one goes back on their word with me, and no one makes a fool out of me."

With that, he yanked her up from the floor and dragged her in front of the computer.

His hands moved quickly, and the image on the computer screen switched to a different location.

From the camera’s perspective, it was clearly surveillance footage. The setting was a prison.

On the screen, a large group of women stood in a circle on a rooftop, jeering and laughing uproariously.

The camera zoomed in. Vivian Yates’s eyes flew wide. Shoving Chase Lynch aside, she scrambled to the monitor, staring intently at the screen with a hand clapped over her mouth.

Chase Lynch was very satisfied with her reaction. A smirk played on his lips as he joined her in watching the screen—

On the screen, inside the circle of women, another woman had been stripped naked and was being raped by a prison guard.

The women surrounding them laughed and jeered, their faces twisted with perverse glee.

And the woman being raped... was her mother, Lauren.

She had been sentenced just a few days ago. Thanks to a mountain of damning evidence, she was facing seven years in prison.

The women in that prison were mostly hardened thugs or completely unhinged lunatics. They were anti-humanity, anti-society, and hell-bent on getting revenge on the world, rebelling against every perceived injustice until they were thrown behind bars.

Simply put, do you think normal, well-adjusted people end up in a place like this?

Lauren, though past her prime, had always taken good care of herself. Compared to the other inmates, she was still a standout beauty.

In truth, the prison wasn’t typically this lawless. But when someone gave the right orders...

Vivian Yates stumbled backward, trying to get away from the computer.

She clapped her hands over her mouth and shrieked, "I won’t look! I won’t look! Make it stop! Make it stop!"

Chase Lynch let out a cold laugh, grabbing her by the hair and dragging her back. "Take a good long look. I want you to remember everything you see today, Vivian Yates. Remember who is responsible for all of this!"

On the screen, Mrs. Yates had been raped until she passed out, only to be jolted awake by a bucket of cold water.

She was crying in despair, a wretched, pitiful sight.

Then, the other female inmates approached with buckets of feces and urine. Maniacal smiles spread across their faces as they cheered and whooped in anticipation.

In full view of the jeering crowd, Lauren was held down while her mouth was forced open. Feces and urine were poured down her throat...

She cried and struggled, but it was no use.

When it was finally over, her face and body were covered in filth, a truly revolting sight.

Then, an unknown voice shouted that the guards were coming, and everyone scattered, leaving her all alone.

A female guard on patrol walked over. Seemingly numb and accustomed to such scenes, she simply pinched her nose and splashed another bucket of water over her.
