[VRMMO] Dead One

The battle between the players continues.

Some of the fights were spectacles, while some others were one sided beatdowns.

Most of the players that had their fight already concluded had not logged off and instead watched the other people fighting.

Some fights lasted for long time, while some others ended up quiet quickly.

However, after sometime had passed, the first round of finals had concluded, with 6 of the members of the Purple Hyena guild managing to get to the second round, expect for Lil.

"Ah, fuck." – said Lil.

"You ran into somebody OP?" – asked Shri.

"No."

"My opponent in terms of strength was around my level, but he had some annoying skills that countered mine and that gave him upper hand."

"I was close to winning as well….Shit."

"Meh."

"Don't worry mate." – said Rampage while putting her hand on Lil shoulder.

"You have already proven yourself by just getting to those finals with your own strength."

"She is right." - said Oron.

"You have already proven yourself."

"But anyway, I don't to be rude or something right now...But the last fight had already concluded."

"Do you-"

Suddenly, the announcer Ande appeared in flashy way, resulting in her getting attention of players in the lobby.

"Hello to you all once again!" - said Ande while using her mike.

"All 32 matches have concluded, with 32 winners in total!"

"And with that, the first round of the finals are officially over!"

"And now, let's show you all the winners of the first round!"

Ande snapped her fingers and moments later, the pictures and the name of the players began appearing on the giant system window, right above Ande for all to see."

"These 32 people have all qualified for the second round of the tournament."

"And now, shall we shuffle those people and see who will be fighting who in the second round?"

The entire system window removed everything on it.

Few moments later, the name of the participants began appearing one by one before then starring to bounce around in the window.

Moments later, all the names stopped moving and had formed a list of matches between the players.

"And here you go folks!"

"This is the list of battles that will be taking place in the second round folks!"

"So take a good look you all, since the second round will start after the break!"

"You are able to log in and out of this server at any moment whenever you feel like it, but please remember that you need to be present in this lobby before this clock here hits zero."

"If you won't be present in that time, you will be automatically disqualified."

"So do whatever you want to do and see you later after the times is up." - said Ande before teleporting away, leaving the tavern lobby.

"Shit. They done us dirty." -Said Oron.

Dance turned around and saw the guild master of the Scarlet Gryphons, Hawk, right behind her.

"Hey." - said Hawk.

"If you didn't noticed, that guy is your next opponent."

"I get to fight you? One of the mayor guilds, guild master? Mister Hawk?" - said Dance while looking at the match board.

"Heh, if anything, I should be one honored, considering the fact that you are the first ever legendary class user." -Said Hawk while trying to sound humble.

"Oh shut up and just get ready." -Said Dance.

"Because I want to enjoy myself fighting you."

"Same"- said Hawk.

Hawk looked towards GreyHunt.

"Speak up, if you want something from me." - said GreyHunt.

(So that guy is GreyHunt?) - thought Hawk.

(He is the guy that managed to beat Conquest.)

(That guy may seem like muscle head, but he is indeed quite strong to the point I would have some problems while fighting him.)

(I will need to watch the replay later and see what exactly happens.)

(But.... If that guy is strong enough to beat Conquest.... Then how strong is that bastard over there?) - though Hawk while looking towards ClownFrog.

Hawk notice ClownFrog with weird expression his face while looking at the list.

(Well, we did consider the option of them taking part of the event being 50/50, but still... They are attention whores.)

(With them not even trying to make any appearance confirms one thing, they are still focusing on growing stronger and they don't want to be discover yet.)

(Probably when they will be ready, they will do some sort of "GRAND REVEAL" or something like that.)

GreyHunt looked towards board and began looking for [Long] on the list and he quickly understood why ClownFrog was asking about him.

"Hm? With one?" - asked Rampage after turning towards GreyHunt.

Rampage began searching for her name on the list.

Rampage looked excited upon hearing that."

"Beside that Long guy.... Blueberry will be facing that France guy. He is quiet popular on." - said Oron.

"Both of you will be facing some strong guys."

"Well, that was obvious." - said Runa before getting up.

"The more fights happened, the less players will be left and only real strong guys would survive."

"Have fun or something."

"Since there is nothing else for me to do here, I'm logging off." - said Runa before logging off.

"Welp. It was her decision."- said ClownFrog after getting up.

The members of the Purple Hyena guild began logging off, leaving the lobby server for the moment, before then co tasting each other using their own private chat group.

["So... It's about the second round, isn't it?"] - Shri.

["Four of us got unlucky and have to face each other, while me and Blueberry now have some strong opponents this time around."]

["The plan was that if we were to encounter each other in the tournament, the weaker one will surrender the match, so we wouldn't show off our power too much nor reveal any secret cards we have."]
