[VRMMO] Dead One

After sometime had passed, the break time over and all players including us had to be forced to log back in into the tournament server where the second round would start.

"Well then everybody, I hope you all got ready and everything!" – said announcer Ande.

"I had already repeated all important information to you all as well as the fact that the timer had hit zero."

"So let's not wait anymore and get going you all! Since the second round starts now!" – said Ande as she snapped her fingers.

The players once again one by one began disappearing from the tavern lobby before then appearing back to the once familiar grassland battlefield.

"I surrender." – said both Oron and Shri as soon as they teleported.

As planned, both Shri and Oron surrendered, since their opponents was ClownFrog and GreyHunt, and moments later, all four players quickly returned back to the lobby.

"…. Welp, what now? Do we just watch?" – asked annoyed Shri.

"Well, I guess so?" – said GreyHunt.

The other players did not surrendered from get go and instead got ready to fight.

On one of the maps, there was a fight between the guild master of the Scarlet Gryphons, Hawk, was facing off against the first legendary class user, Dance, also known as Paintjob.

However, this wasn't the only fight that interested the members of the Purple Hyena guild.

Rampage was facing off against player Long.

While Blueberry was facing off against the Parioano.

"Hm…."

Hawk observed the enemy in front of him, seeing a bizarre girl with blue and red hair and had eyes that each had two colors inside of them, purple and yellow.

(That weapon of hers…... According to the information, she is using some sort of paint from her giant brush she is carrying around.) – though Hawk.

(In the battle royal, she apparently took on a huge group of players and straight up either crushed them with just water or had incinerated them.)

(Not only that, but when Berienno fought her during the second round, she straight up demolished him with ease. He said that she is straight up monster.)

(Honestly, I was also worried about having to face ClownFrog.)

(Berienno, IS NOT A WEAKLING!)

(And yet, he was one sidedly beaten down by both ClownFrog and Paintjob, while they were not going all out?)

(I cannot let my guard down against her.)

[Player Hawk is READY!]

[Player Dance is READY!]

"[Light Protection], [Holy Protection], [Light Weapon Enchantment], [Holy Weapon Enchantment] …." – Hawk started casting self-buffs on himself.

"…." – Dance smiled while looking towards the Hawk.

Dance turned away and began walking away, gaining some distance while humming.

(She wants to get distance?) – though Hawk.

(Her so called legendary class is about "Mage" that paints.)

(According to the informations, whenever she swung her brush, a different from of magic would manifest, but how exactly that works I don't know.)

(I do have some informations about her, but not enough.)

(She has way too many secrets…. But I should be able to force her to reveal some of them if not all of them!)

[FIGHT!]

The wall between the two players disappeared and Hawk did not wasted a second to rush in towards Paintjob.

"Aggressive, aren't you?" – said Dance."

"O Paint! Let's draw together a tiger predator!"

Paintjob swinged her giant brush around few times while using an orange color, before moments later the paint took a shape of the painting, before then coming to life as a giant striped tiger that leaped towards Hawk.

"?!"

Hawk quickly deployed the barrier of light around his shield and quickly blocked the painted tiger attack.

However, Hawk noticed something off.

The grass around the tiger feets was burning, alarming the player.

"[Light Judge]!"

Hawk thrusted his sword into the tiger head, before moments later a beam of light came flying from it, piercing though the tiger head and then flying towards the Paintjob who just moved away, dodging the attack like it was nothing while smiling.

As for the tiger painting? It had dissolved and became liquid before then hitting the ground.

"…."

(What was that?)

("O Paint! Let's draw a tiger predator together!"?)

(I get the general picture of how her "Paintings" somewhat.)

(Well… Somewhat.)

(But one thing is obvious. She needs that giant brush of hers to paint. Is it some sort of special item related to her class?)

(But…Something still feels off…. And I don't like this.)

"What you are thinking about?! This a battlefield you know!" – said smiling Dance as she held her giant paint brush over her head as the tip of the paintbrush turned blue.

"O Paint! Let's draw together a wave of dancing water!"

With her brush once again, Dance used a blue paint this time to draw a wave of water that quickly came running towards Hawk while making a weird wiggling moves.

"?!"

"[Holy Wall]!"

Hawk with his shield manifested a wall shaped barrier that took on the wave of water, hitting the barrier and making the wave of water go past him.

"O Paint! Let's draw together a cloud that judges with thunder!"

Wielding both the yellow, Dance had drew a yellow cloud emitting a yellow lightings from itself before then sending the cloud towards the Hawk and having it land right above his head.

"?!" – Hawk noticed the shadow and looked up, noticing and spotting the weird cloud above him.

Moments later, the cloud fired a cartoonish looking thunder towards the Hawk and upon contact, blowing up and releasing an eclectic burst around, hitting Hawk and the water, before then having the dancing water blow up from the charge of the energy.

"…."

"Oh?"

"No wonder they call you one of the best paladin players in the game." – said Dance while smiling.

The parts of the Hawk body were covered in some sort of shining armor.

"Tch."

"[Holy Judge]!"

Hawk aimed with his sword to the sky, before then firing a beam of bright light into the sky.

Dance looked up and moments later, the now massive column of the light was coming straight towards her from above.

"Oh? My turn to block?"

The beam of light came down on the Dance, completely destroying the area around her…. But as soon as the column of the light attack stopped and disappeared, Hawk expression instantly changed into confusion.

What he saw was a turtle like statue with damaged shell, before then dissolving and turning into the liquid, revealing in the process Dance who was seemingly unharmed.

"?!"

(HOW?!)

(That was one of my strongest offensive skills!)

(And she just stood there and took it?!)

"O Paint! Let's draw together a pack of wolves that hunts without mercy!"

Dance swinged her brush, using a dark color, before then manifesting a pack of black wolves that began running towards the Hawk.

Before long, the Hawk began fighting and killing the paint wolf creatures, but then.

"O paint- "

"?!"

Hawk turned towards Dance upon hearing those worlds and the next moment he saw was her brush touching the ground before then quickly lifting the brush and launching some sort of red paint towards the Hawk that traveled on the ground.

Hawk did not wasted one second and instantly manifested a dome of holy barrier around himself before moments later the red paint had created a fire explosion, visibly damaging the barrier.

However, what fallowed up next was a sword fish straight up hitting and piercing the Hawk barrier, hitting and piercing Hawk stomach.

"?!"

"Fish?!" – said confused and shocked Hawk as he saw a sword fish sticking out from his stomach before then grabbing it, removing it and crushing it, making it turn back into simple paint.

"That hit you? Didn't?" – said Dance while valving her hand towards Hawk.

"!"

"[Grand Duty]!"

Hawk manifested an aura of the holy and light around himself before then using the skill [The Judge], swinging his blade vertically, sending a wave of the energy towards Dance that traveled on the ground.

However, before the attack could reach Dance, she was gone and the attack instead hit and completely obliviated the boulder that was somewhere behind her.

"?!"

Hawk looked around, trying to spot Dance and it didn't took long for him to spot him, as he saw Dance straight up standing in the middle of the air.

"[Heaven Arrows]!"

Hawk manifested several arrows of holy energy around himself before then starting to fire them at the Dance who swinged her brush with red paint, creating a ram head with giant horns that flew towards Hawk.

The arrows of holy and light energy collided with the burning ram head, but upon contact, the ram head straight up demolished the arrows left and right, but after getting hit several times by the arrows, the ram head exploded.

Moment later, Hawk fired a spear of light towards Dance that flew at the alarming rate, making Dance panic a bit as she barely managed to dodge the attack this time.

"Phew!"

"Hey man! That almost skewered me!"

"At least give me some hands up warning next time or something!" – said Dance while flying in the sky.

"Tch!"

(Dammit!)

(This is annoying!) – though Hawk.

(Not only she can use those weird paintings skills or something to attack me as well as to defend herself, but she can also fly?!)

(How can she even fly in the first place?!)

(Item? Or some sort of skill?!)

(Either way, she has way too big of advantage against me!)

(I have some hard hitting long range skills, but her defense is no joke at all! She straight up stopped one of my strongest attacks with ease! I maybe a holy and light paladin build user, but I have several good and hard hitting offensive classes!)

(Not only that, what the hell is with her attacks?!)

(All I understand that whenever she is trying to use any attack, she will have her paintbrush produce a different color and say "Oh paint! Let's draw together".)

(Not only that, but I think based on the paint she uses, the attribute of the attack changes.)

(Blue is water.)

(Red is fire.)

(Dark is darkness.)

(I think the orange is lava. It wasn't fire, but it was able to set a grass on fire, so it should be lave.)

(But, it was said that that Paintjob can wield all sort of elements, so does that mean that each element have a different paint that represent it?)

(And the attack she does depends on what she draws as well as what sort of elemental paint she uses.)

(That's is what her legendary class is about!)

(Dammit! This isn't funny!)

(Honestly, this is one of scary ass class!)

(I'm also quiet interested on how exactly this class works, are they some limitations? Or can she only draw more specific things?)

(Honestly speaking, I can survive her barrage of attacks for some time and maybe force her to reveal some of her cards, but cannot underestimate her or I will lose! I need to focus on winning!)

(But how do I win this?!)

(Not only she can use that paint of hers to use a various and bizarre attacks as well as other stuff, but she can also fly for some unknown reason?!)

(Fight at long range against her is way to big of NO from me.)

(I need to somewhat force her to land on the ground so I can get close and quickly finish her off.)

"…."

"You know what? Its fun." – said Dance.

"?"

"Sorry?" – asked confused Hawk.

"I said its fun." – said Dance while spinning around in air.

"I honestly wanted to see how many strong people are there in the game and if there are any that can make me sweat or can be consider strong."

"And would you look at that? There is one."

"Honestly, I'm interested in the other people fights as well as other things."

"For example that demon lord like guys ClownFrog. I really want to fight him!"

"I mean, he is straight up demon lord at this point."

"Fighting a demon lord like some sort of hero? I mean, this is bit cringe and everything, but its quiet classing and interesting as well."

"Don't tell me you wouldn't want and try your luck with facing the demon lord, defeating him and be then called hero."

"I mean, I don't really want to be called hero or something, I just want to do my own thing."

"But that is the beside the current point."

"You."

"You got me interested."

"You got my attention, mister Hawk of the Scarlet Gryphons guild."

"So let me have more fun and give me inspirations!"

"Don't hold back at all and show me what you got!"

"And don't break too fast as well, since I will start taking things bit more seriously right now."
