[VRMMO] Dead One

Current, Zod was fighting a group of players who were firing long range attack him nonstop.

"YOU DAMMED ANTS!" – roared Zod before unleashing a blast breath from his mouth the flew straight towards one of the players.

The blast breath hit the player.

Or so it seemed.

The player had deployed a barrier ice that took the hit for them and completely stopped the blast breath attack.

"?!"

(They blocked it?!) – though Zod.

The helmet wearing player pointed they're towards Zod before then two magic circle manifested and fired two sharp icicles that flew towards Zod, hitting him and exploded on the impact.

However, Zod did not cared at all about the enemy attack and tried crushing the culprit with his giant claws, only for the culprit to dodge this claw by backing away again and again when Zod tried to crush them.

But each time Zod tried to crush their opponent, the enemy just ran away before then countering with their axe that was enchanted with the ice or using an ice magic to fire projectiles at Zod.

However, none of these attacks stopped Zod rampage as he continues chasing the opponent nonstop while destroying everything around himself.

(Dammit! Who ever that person is, it's annoying!) – though Zod while trying to catch the ice user while ending up damaging and destroying the old buildings in the process.

(They can hit somewhat hard and are also dodging my attacks left and right!)

"!" – While Zod was chasing down the ice user player, the other players that were at the scenes were also attacking and damaging Zod.

(Tch! There are other bastards here, huh?)

(I guess they must have dealt with that dragon summons the boss gave me.)

Zod swiped with his tail at the other players, hitting some of them while others run away or deployed barriers to defend themselves.

However as soon as he did that, the helmet wearing player saw this as an opportunity and launched themselves in the air by sprouting an ice platform from the ground that threw the player into the sky.

Zod then noticed the player in the air, trying to do something and before Zod could do anything himself, the ice user shouted-

"[Ice Mountain Strike]!"

The ice user axe began glowing before then being covered in large and thick ice that transformed itself into an enlarged version of the axe.

The ice user swinged their massive axe at the Zod, hitting him right in the eye and freezing it over where the slash was made.

"?!"

"BITCH!" – Zod roared.

Zod turned towards the ice user and opened their mouth before then charging up his breath attack.

The ice user instantly got alarmed and manifested a sphere of ice around themselves before Zod unleashed his breath attack at the ice user that send the sphere of ice flying.

The sphere of ice flew directly into one of the buildings and crashed onto the building second floor before then disappearing out of Zod sight.

Zod though that the ice user was dead and turned his gaze towards the other players, but as soon as he turned around, a giant icicle flew straight at his other eye, hit it, before then freezing over it.

Zod roared in surprise and anger as his other eye was now covered in ice.

Zod tried to get the ice off his eyes, but while he was trying to something, the ice user rushed out of the building before then jumping out from it towards the Zod and prepared to strike Zod again.

However as soon as the ice user leaped into the air, it saw something coming from afar that was heading straight towards them, forcing them to raise their guard up before getting hit by a wave of smoke that exploded moments later, sending the ice user flying yet again.

"Hey Zod!" – shouted ClownFrog who was flying in the air.

"The fuck you doing?"

"!"

"Boss?!" – said surprised Zod who had finally managed to get rid of the ice on his left eye and saw ClownFrog right next to him.

"What happened?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Tch! That bitch over!" – said Zod while looking at the ice user who was getting up from the ground.

"…."

"They banged you up really good, huh?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Oh shut up!" – replied Zod.

"Hmph."

ClownFrog sprayed blood over Zod body, healing him with his blood skills.

"That bitch is mine. Go and deal with the others." – said ClownFrog after healing Zod.

"!"

"NO! THAT BITCH IS- "

"Then go for it." – said ClownFrog, cutting off Zod.

"But do you really think you can beat that guy over there, considering how they beat you up easily?"

"…."

"Tch."

Annoyed Zod turned away before then joining in with other undeads and attacking the players, leaving behind ClownFrog and ice user.

"…."

"So… I don't know you… But considering how you just fought right now, I doubt you were going all out against Zod." – said ClownFrog while flying in the air.

"May I have your name?"

"Ah." – said ClownFrog before quickly landing on the ground.

"Where are my manners."

"My name is ClownFrog. And I'm guild master of the Purple Hyena guild."

"And you are?"

"…."

"Runa."

"?"

"Wait. Are you female?" – asked ClownFrog after hearing the ice user voice.

"Yea. And?" – asked bit confused ice user.

"No…...Em…."

"…."

"Is it because I'm not wearing "Girly" clothes? Because of that you though I was a men? You bitch."

"No! No!"

"If anything, one of my guild members has straight up same type of equipment like you." – said ClownFrog.

"Its just…. Are you one of those heroines that "hide their gender behind equipment" kind of thing?"

"…."

"What?" – asked confused Runa.

"Hey. Don't blame me. You straight up give that kind of vibe." – said ClownFrog.

"No offense or anything like that, but you know…. You kind of give a vibe like that."

"…."

"Can we just fight now?" – asked bit annoyed Runa.

"Oh. Yes." – replied ClownFrog.

"[Dread Wind Scythe]."

ClownFrog fired a slash of necrotic wind at the armored woman that catched the woman by off surprise.

Runa used skill [Wind Jump] to get out of the projectile way by jumping up, but then ClownFrog unleashed [Imp Shot] that fires a demonic energy in a form of flying demon that flew directly at the heavy knight, but in response to that the girl used [Water Shield] to defend herself before the demonic shot hit her and send her flying back to the ground.

After landing on the ground, Runa began charging straight towards ClownFrog with a help of skill [Wind Path].

"…"

(Huh…. That is interesting?) – though ClownFrog.

(She is wearing somewhat heavy looking armor, but she is moving quite fast? Even with the [Wind Path], she shouldn't be moving that fast?)

"[Unsettled Desert]."

While running towards ClownFrog, Runa had suddenly noticed that the ground she was walking on was different as it was now covered in sand.

However, that did not stopped the girl from charging towards ClownFrog and that was the mistake.

While moving inside the [Unsettled Desert], the haunted sand arms emerges before then came flying from behind towards Runa who had barely noticed the hands in time and slashed few of them with her axe.

The woman then used skill [Wreck Wind] to enchant her axe before then swing with it and releasing an AOE burst of wind that destroyed the sand arms that were after her.

However, when she did that, ClownFrog just fired [Poisoned Loneliness], a necrotic poison magic skill that released a blast of poison that explodes on contact.

[Your resistance to negative effects have been slightly reduced.]

"?!"

"Fucker!" – said Runa while turning back towards ClownFrog.

"[Ice Breaker]!"

The girl struck the ground with her axe before seconds later many sharp ice structure began popping out from the ground and heading straight towards ClownFrog.

In response, ClownFrog unleashed [Dread Fire Dead] that shots out a giant skull shaped flames towards the girl that ended up colliding with her own attack and resulted in large explosion of ice and fire.

The explosion blocked Phantasia vision for the moment and that what Runa used.

From the cloud of explosion flew a crossbow bolt straight towards ClownFrog that hit him and exploded before then spreading ice across his body.

"…."

"Huh."

"I wasn't expecting that." – said ClownFrog as the bolt of crossbow was freezing part of his chest.

Runa rushed out of the cloud of ice towards ClownFrog while holding a crossbow and axe.

"Too greedy." – said ClownFrog.

"!"

Before the girl realized, she had stepped under another trap that was installed by ClownFrog.

[Bone Trap].

Several spears made out of the bones sprouted from the ground, attacking and stabbing the armored woman and catching her off guard.

The woman quickly destroyed the bone spears with her axe and crossbow, but then ClownFrog fired a wave of wind using skill [Wind Wave] that fires a wind that pushes the enemy away.

However, the girl stood her ground and did not let the wind push her too far away.

"…."

"Huh."

"You are fun!" – said ClownFrog.

"Honestly speaking, you are the first real strong person I encounter in this whole tournament."

"If anything, I may stop testing you out and go stop holding out that much." – said ClownFrog while smiling like a real monster.

"!"

The girl instinctive backed away from the ClownFrog and raised her guard up.

"…."

"You…... Dammit." – said Runa while keeping her guard up.

"What?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Don't be scared….. Well, not yet."

"I have yet to even go all out."

"But who knows? Maybe you will make me, do it?"

"And that is what I'm looking forward to!"

"SO COME AT ME! SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT AND TRY TO SLAY ME!" – shouted ClownFrog.

"I'm right here."
