[VRMMO] Dead One

[Current location: Forested town.]

[Time: Sometime after the second safe zone had made appearance.]

"…." – ClownFrog observed the battle royal map.

(Again.) – though ClownFrog.

(Again, the safe zone moved towards the center of the map.)

(Will the third final safe zone also appear in the center?)

(Hm…... Should I move out?)

(This place is still inside the safe zone.)

(Nope I'm still staying in here.)

(And so is Oron.)

(People will have no choice but to go to this town in order not to be out in open.)

(But unfortunately for them, this place is a death trap.)

["Boss."] – Hera used communication type skill.

"Yea?"

["I have spotted a huge group of people approaching the town. Some of them are approaching this place quite fast, they will be arriving at the town at any moment."]

["Oron is already sniping people from afar. Should we join in?"]

"…. No."

"Let them come inside the town and give them a little surprise." – said ClownFrog.

[Current location: Outside the town.]

"Shit! Deploy barriers! N- "

Before the player could finish speaking a crossbow bolt came flying and instantly pierced and blew the man head to bits.

The other players stared shocked as some of them instantly deployed defensive type skills like barriers while some others players activated their movement skills to increase speed in order to get to the town as fast as possible.

However, people were still dying to the crossbow bolts. It didn't matter if they were tanks or fast runners.

And even if they did survived the attack, the curse, burning and the poison effect finished off the people.

But even still, the people continue heading towards the forested town.

"…."

"Tch."

(They are not fighting among themselves.) – though Oron while observing the players through his scope.

(I guess they are not too stupid to not realize that fighting out there in the open with a sniper attacking from afar is not a good idea.)

(Well, it's not like I care.)

"[Ballista Shot]."

Oron enchanted his crossbow before then firing it.

The crossbow bolt flew in straight line and before the heavy armored knight realized it, the crossbow bolt was already in front before the man head was completely blowed away.

The players realized that the sniper was extremely dangerous, but they also knew that they have to get to the town at all cost or they would be in way bigger trouble if they had stayed outside. That is the only reason why the players did not attacked each other.

Oron continues sniping down any players approaching the town, but there was straight up too many for him to snipe every single one of them as well as the fact that many players came from different directions.

It was invadable that players got to the town and some of the players had already managed to get to the town.

More and more players started getting inside the town.

(Common! Common!) – though the player running towards the town.

"!"

(YES!) – though the player after finally getting inside the town alongside couple of other players.

(Fuck that sniper!)

(Wait…. Other players are still running?)

(Oh right! If we fight here right outside the entrance than we are still sitting ducks!)

Even after arriving at the town, the players continues running.

Some players immediately split in different directions while some others run after another in order engage with them in combat.

"!"

The player looked as an orc player in front of him suddenly stopped and turned around towards the running player.

(Bastard wants to fight, huh?) – though the player while stopping and taking out his spear.

"Common! Let's- "

While orc player was in middle of trying to taunt the player in front of him, a sudden wave of a plant undead and earth undead appeared straight out of nowhere and instantly swallowed the orc player in their numbers.

"…What?" – said player with a spear in his hand.

"?"

The player saw some sort of light coming from above and when he looked up, he saw a giant ball of dark energy was coming straight to him.

"…"

"Shit."

Before the player could do anything, the ball of darkness engaoled his entire body and blew him and the entire area around him up.

These two players weren't the only ones.

Any players that went too deep into the town ended up encountering the group of monsters.

"Shit?! What the hell is happening?!" – said the elf player that was shooting undeads down with his crossbow.

"They said that there will be no wild monsters or anything, but what the hell is- "

Before the elf player could even finish speaking, he was suddenly blown away with a bright beam of light that exploded on impact near him.

The elf player ended up hitting the walls one of the broken buildings before then trying to quickly recover.

However as soon as he looked up, he saw Zod right in front of the man before the giant drake stomped on the ground and sprouted many spears made out of earth in all directions that ended up impaling several players while also destroying some of the old and damaged houses.

Zod had started to go on all our rampage alongside the summoned dragon monsters.

However-

"?!" – Zod was suddenly attacked with powerful spell.

The players facing Zod were not really "Weaklings" and they had means of launching powerful attacks to not only damage Zod, but also damage him "Badly".

"FINALY! SOME STRONG PREY!" – roared Zod as he commanded the dragons under his command began swarming at the players while also firing attacks from the distance.

Players began fighting the small summoned dragons and killing them without much trouble, but Zod was only using those monsters as distraction as he just ran towards the mage player that had fired a spell at Zod before.

However, the mage quickly deployed a barrier to defend himself from getting crushed.

And no.

The Zod wasn't the only one fighting.

There were several fights happening all across the town.

O'a who lead the skeleton knights ended up encountering the monster user players.

While Hera alongside the demons were going on the rampaging and hunting down the players that were trying run away from the chaos.

And on top of it all, the leader of those monsters was also on the move.

"Shit! Blast him!" – shouted the mage player who was firing spells nonstop.

"I'am!" – shouted the other mage player.

"Shit! What the hell is this thing?! Are we even doing anything to him?!" – shouted the warrior player who had fired [Flying Sword Slash] skill at the tall creature.

Several players were working together and were firing their long range attack non stop until the area where they were firing their attacks ended up kicking up a lot of dust and creating a cloud of it.

"…."

As soon as the cloud of dust was created, the players stopped confused, wondering if the target they were hitting was dead or not.

"…."

"Are you done yet?" – asked ClownFrog voice coming from the cloud of dust.

Suddenly a barrage of the bone arrows came flying out the cloud of dust towards the players.

The swordman quickly got out of the way, but the archer player did not reacted in time and was skewered by the multiple bone arrows.

As for the swordman who though he was safe? Well moments later he got suddenly impaled by the bone spear and send flying until he collided with a tree.

"?!"

"F- "

"FIRE!"

The two mages players began once again firing the spells at the ClownFrog, but this time it was different.

The distance and the location of the explosion was changing and was slowly getting closer towards the mages before moments later a giant block of ice came flying towards one of the mages before then crushing the mage underneath it.

The second mage stared confused and scared at the first mage was suddenly crushed beneath the block of ice, and unfortunately for the other mage, he would get impaled by an earth spike sprouting from the ground right beneath him, impaling and lifting the mage off the ground.

The impaled mage could only stare scared as he saw a wave of fire coming towards him before then getting blown up to bits.

"..."

'Phew'

(A lot of players have decided to get to this town since its inside the safe zone and everything, so now I'm somewhat fight right now unlike before.)

(Still, I'm surprised there is still that many players left? Maybe this side of the map just have that many players or something?)

(But even so, there is still a lot.)

(I though there would be way less players or something, but nope?)

(Well, players of this phase are much stronger and not some random weakling noobs that you can easily stop on.)

(Still, those guys here weren't really a threat for me…... But are there any other people here? I'm not talking about people like them, but I'm talking about some strong bastards!)

"Hera? Do you hear me?"

["Yes boss."]

"I had cleaned up things on my end. Do you need any help or anybody else?"

["No. We had run into some weaker guys. So, we don't need any help."]

["However, I can see and hear lot of explosions coming from Zod direction."]

"Ok. Thanks for info."

(Zod, huh?)

(This guy isn't some weakling or anything. But he does stands out way too much…. People may end up targeting him since he may appear as a big threat and pretty much all of his attacks are big AOEs.)

(Fuck it. It maybe good idea to make sure he doesn't dies yet, since he will attract more players for me to kill.) – though ClownFrog before spreading his wings and began flying straight towards where Zod was currently fighting.
