[VRMMO] Dead One

Rune stared at the ClownFrog with a nervous look, waiting for the necromancer to his first move.

"…"

"So?"

"What are you waiting for?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Are you not going to make a move?"

"If not, I- "

"[Kelpie Shot]!

Runa fired and crossbow bolt at the Phantasia that was enchanted with water that ended up being blocked by Phantasia [Bone Shield] that caused the projectile to collide with the barrier and end up creating an explosion of water.

"?"

(Oh wow. That damaged THIS barrier that much?) – though ClownFrog while noticing the barrier durability dropping by a lot after the girl shot.

"[Wrecking Smash]!"

Runa leaped into the air before then came flying down towards ClownFrog.

ClownFrog quickly backed away with the help of his wings as the heavy armored woman smashed into the ground, before then she used skill [Wreckless Charge] to close the distance between herself and ClownFrog.

She then used [Ice Weapon Enchantment] alongside the [Ice Slash] to hit the ClownFrog across the chest that ended up hitting him, but also activating the [Burned Flesh] that caused the small explosion to happened that hit the girl, but did not backed her away.

The armored woman tried to attack ClownFrog again, but then ClownFrog tail came flying straight towards her, making the woman block the incoming hook tail before then backing away in order not to get possible counter attacked.

"…"

"Huh." – said ClownFrog.

"You can hit pretty good as well." – said ClownFrog who seemed interested in the Runa.

"?!"

(He wasn't bothered by it?!) – though Runa while observing ClownFrog reaction.

(What the hell is going on?!)

(Even though there was that weird explosion thing, I still hit him! I landed a proper hit!)

(…. Wait.)

(He healed that dragon of his before! With that weird blood skill.)

(Does that mean that fucker has a healing abilities?!)

(Shit!)

(I can kind of see now, about that bastard not lying about not going all out!)

(What do I do now?!)

(Should I go all out?)

(But even if I kill him, won't I run into another strong guy like him?! What are the odds?!)

The armored woman roared like a beast before having her eyes glow white.

(IF I DON'T GO ALL OUT AGASINT THIS BASTARD, THEN HE WILL DEFINITLY KILL ME!)

While Rune had made her resolve to face the ClownFrog at full power, she had noticed two players running towards ClownFrog, aiming for his life.

Rune then quickly rushed towards ClownFrog, forcing the necromancer to fire [Flame Wave] towards the armored woman, releasing a wave of fire that flew at her and forced her to use skill [Yeti Fur] that created ice around different part of her body that allowed her to endure the flames while continues charging towards ClownFrog.

However, while she was being attacked, the two players from behind saw this as an opportunity to rush and attack the ClownFrog.

One of the players got ahead of the other player and enchanted his spear before then stabbing ClownFrog in the back.

"?!" – ClownFrog felt the attack and turned around and saw the spearman right behind him alongside the other player who was closing in.

This gave Rune an opportunity to close the distance between herself and ClownFrog.

However, ClownFrog did not wanted to play with those two players and instantly used skill [Dark Pulse] that created a wave of dark energy all around himself that pushed away all enemies.

Rune tried her best not to get to pushed away, but that gave ClownFrog to spread his wings and flew up before then turning around towards the two players and then breathing his necrotic flames from his mouth and engulfing both players in it.

After that, ClownFrog [Necro Bomb] to blow up both of the players up and sending them flying, unknowing if they were dead or not.

"…."

"Sorry. But I had to deal with that annoyance." – said ClownFrog while turning back towards Rune.

"Now. Where- "

Rune used skill [Yeti Leap] to jump towards ClownFrog who was keep in the air.

However, ClownFrog used [Necro Blast] to hit and send the armored woman flying back to the ground.

"Hey. That was mean." – said ClownFrog while landing on the ground.

"…."

Rune got up from the ground and looked at the ClownFrog with her white glowing eyes before then throwing an axe made out of ice towards ClownFrog, however ClownFrog deployed a barrier of wind fire around himself that collided with the axe that caused the ice axe to explode.

(Smoke screen again?) – though ClownFrog.

ClownFrog blasted a wave of water ahead of him using skill [Water Wave], however the wave of water did not hit Runa who was not there.

Instead of running into the smoke screen, Runa changed her location and fired with her crossbow towards ClownFrog.

However, ClownFrog fired an [Dead Man Tail] that destroyed the ice enchanted crossbow bolt before then coming towards the armored woman, forcing her to raise her guard as the demonic undead weapon hit her and pushed her away.

The girl did not ended up collapsing or losing her balance thanks to her quick thinking, but it wasn't over.

The next thing she saw was a barrage of the bullets containing necrotic energy that came flying towards her.

Runa did had no choice but the raise her guard again in order to defended herself against the barrage of the shots.

Runa tried closing the distance, but the barrage of the shots was straight up not letting her do that.

In the end, the armored woman had no choice but to use skill [Yeti Roar] to somewhat push away the shots and gave herself some room to breathe.

However as soon as she did that, ClownFrog unleashed [Necro Power Ball] that flew directly towards Runa and caused an explosion on impact.

However, even after getting like that, Runa did not gave up and stood her ground.

"…."

"Common. I'm waiting." – said ClownFrog.

"…."

"Why…." – said Rune.

"Hm?"

"Why are you playing with me?! Am I really beneath your level that much?!" – shouted Rune, asking ClownFrog in annoyance and anger.

"I know you can kill me! You are way stronger than me!"

"Then why the hell are you now killing me?!"

"Why you aren't going all out?!"

"Why the hell you aren't using your specialty against me?! Your monsters?! You are a necromancer!"

"…."

"Hm…. Well, I because I want to see how far you can push me." – said ClownFrog.

"Honestly, I want to fight other strong players and see how strong they are compare to me and stuff."

"This is just that simple."

"I WANT TO SEE HOW MUCH YOU WILL MAKE ME SUFFER!"

"…."

"But you know what? This is bad timing."

"You can go."

"…."

"What?" – asked confused Rune.

"I said you can go." – said ClownFrog.

"I won't kill you."

"I want you to get to the finals and try and fight me at your best."

"…."

"WHAT FUKING GAMES ARE YOU PLAYING AT?!" – asked furious Runa.

"Well… A game? I mean, this is a game right now."

"And now I'm playing game with you."

"Get to the finals and try to fight me."

"But this is just heads up warning."

"Fail and don't get at least to the finals, and I will have to deal with you in "That" world. Not in our, but that."

"!" – Rune stared at ClownFrog with her guard up.

"So, what is your answer?"

"Get killed by me here? Or go and try to survive until finals?" – asked ClownFrog while pointing his axe staff at Rune.

"…."

"Tch. You are going to regret it." – said Rune.

"Hm… Don't know." – replied ClownFrog.

"Then make me regret it."

"But make sure that you will at least get to the finals, or you will be the one in trouble."

"…"

Runa quickly ran away past ClownFrog monsters, realizing that the ClownFrog was keeping his world with letting her go.

"…."

"Why you let her go?" – asked Oron who landed right next to the ClownFrog before then deactivating his stealth skill.

"Oh? You saw the entire thing?" – asked ClownFrog.

"I was watching with my stealth on after hearing a lot of explosions and stuff, I though Zod was getting beaten up until I saw you." – explained Oron.

"So…. Why let her go?"

"…."

"Well… I want to have finals at least somewhat interesting." – said ClownFrog.

"I want to show off, but I also don't want to make the show too boring and stuff."

"If she was one of our "Enemies", then I wouldn't mind killing her in order to humiliate her and stuff, but for her? I decided to let her go."

"But if you encounter her in finals, don't show any mercy and crush her."

"…."

"If you say so." – said Oron.

"What about other stronger players?"

"Don't care."

"Just do your own thing and kill anybody you see fit."

"Be it strong or weak person. I don't care. Just do what you feel like to do."

"But don't fuking die and get to the finals at all cost, got it?"

"…"

"Got it." – said Oron before activating his stealth skill and then running away.

"…."

(Well then…. This event is finally starting getting interesting for me.) – though ClownFrog to himself.

(But I want more.)

(I want to fight only strong bastards in the finals.)

(I want to show those bastards how strong really the Purple Hyena guild is.)

(I want to finally let lose and go all out!)

(I want to test out my limits and stuff!)

(And this is perfect event for all of this!)

"…."

"But obviously, there is some trash." – said ClownFrog while looking at the players that were fighting his undeads.

(And those bastards, need to be taken out of the picture, since they are nothing more than waste of time.)

(Time to get rid of them all.)
