[VRMMO] Dead One

(Dammit.) – though Deven while walking around with his dark elemental monsters.

(This smells like a trap…. No. This place should have been already a battlefield…. But there are no sight of battle at all.)

The man deployed the barrier instantly before moments later a powerful shot that flew direct at the man and had made contact with his shield.

The barrier somewhat blocked the attack, but it was visible damaged from the impact, even catching the mage by surprise.

"[Darkness Lance]!"

The man fired a lance of darkness towards one of the wooden houses, hitting it and completely demolishing it.

"…."

"Oh?" – said GreyHunt voice.

"!" – the mage got alarmed.

"You have some interesting detection ability? An item? Or maybe a skill?" – said GreyHunt while undoing his stealth skill and revealing himself on the road across the mage.

"?!"

"You are GreyHunt!" – shouted Deven.

"Yeb. And hello to you too. Deven." – said GreyHunt.

"…."

"So, you know me." – said Deven.

"Well, obviously since we are enemies." – replied GreyHunt.

"…."

"Say… I have question." – said Deven after moment of silent.

"Why- "

Before the man could even ask, GreyHunt fired [Power Bullet] at the man, forcing him to move him to move one of his dark elementals to take a shot for him.

"WHAT THE FUCK MAN?!" – shouted Deven.

"What "What"?" – asked GreyHunt.

"We are enemies."

"And that's it."

"Focus on the fight first and ask questions later in the lobby if you have any."

"If you want to get to the finals, then you will have to kill me right here, right now."

"So don't hold back. I just fuking dare you." – said GreyHunt while pointing his gun at the mage.

"Tch."

"Go!"

The mage send out his elemental monsters towards GreyHunt in order to have them confront him.

(Using monsters as distraction and block my vision so I can't see what you are doing? Too obvious.) – though GreyHunt, realizing the mage obvious plan.

"[Gun Play] [Pistole Play] [Pistol Free]."

GreyHunt aimed with both of his guns before firing multiple times at the elemental monsters with his guns and then having the bullets of those guns pierce and blow holes in the dark elementals with ease.

However, knight monster made out of dark energy rushed at the man and tried to slash GreyHunt with its sword, but GreyHunt just aimed with his gun and used his gun special charactered to fire a seventh bullet from the gun that was enchanted as well as empowered by the skill [Piercing Shot] that straight up hit the knight monster right in the chest and pierced right through it as well as another knight behind it, killing both of the knights in instance.

"?!" – as the two dark knights disappeared, GreyHunt field of vision was cleared for a moment, revealing that the mage was nowhere to be seen.

(Wait. Did he used the monsters to run away instead of preparing to attack?!) – though GreyHunt while trying to dodge the third dark knight blade before then counter attacking with his pistole, killing the monster.

"?"

(Wait. Those knights are that weak?)

(Shit.)

(That bastard used them as distraction and I had fallen for it.) – though GreyHunt while reloading his gun.

One of the elementals tried attacking GreyHunt, but GreyHunt just activated [Hollow Shot] and fired his gun with fake bullet, hitting and killing elementals.

"…."

(No.)

(He definitely did not run away. I can tell.)

"!"

GreyHunt heard some sound coming from the distance and when he looked to his right, he saw an [Dark Power Ball] coming straight towards him.

"?!"

"Got you bitch!" – shouted Deven.

The ball of darkness hit the GreyHunt head on, blowing him up.

The mage confidently smiled, however he then realized that the GreyHunt wasn't really bothered by the attack and just stood on his feet.

"Huh. So, YOU can hit." - said GreyHunt who took the attack head on intentionally.

"That is nice knowing." – said GreyHunt before aiming with both of his guns and firing at the man.

"[Demon Shield]!"

The man quickly deployed the shield, blocking GreyHunt bullets barely in time.

"Motherfucker!" – shouted Deven.

"[Summon Hell Demon]!"

Man manifested three magic circles before then summoning three obese giant monsters with giant and long butcher cleavers.

"Demon executioners?" – said GreyHunt.

"What are you waiting for?! Get him!"

The mid ranked demons rushed at the GreyHunt, however the gunman used one of his instant reload skills to quickly reload both of his guns before then activating the skill [Shot Out] and then firing at the demons and blowing holes in every single one of them before then having two of the demons drop dead on the ground.

"?!" – the third demon stared scared.

"Really? Mid rank demons? Do you really think they will do anything against me?" – asked GreyHunt.

"At least summon a bunch of them or something stronger if your plan was to buy time."

"[Hidden]."

GreyHunt turned invisible, disappearing out of the demon sight.

"!"

"[Demon Blast]!"

The man fired a blast of the demonic energy at the house nearby, blowing it up and forcing GreyHunt to dodge as well as making him deactivate his invisibility.

(Tch. By the look of things, he really have some nasty detection ability. The question is: Is it item? Or skill?) – though GreyHunt while landing on the ground.

The last demon tried attacking GreyHunt with its cleaver, but GreyHunt quickly dodged the attack and used skill [Pistole Bayonet] to manifest a blade on of his pistoles before then cutting off the demon head with the blade.

"[Bastard Shot]."

GreyHunt fired a bullet at the man.

The shot pierced right through the man barrier and hit the man right in the stomach, dealing damage as well as making the damaged barrier collapse.

"Disappointing." – said GreyHunt.

"[Instant Reload: Pistol]."

GreyHunt instantly reload his guns again.

"!"

"[Shadow Escape]!"

GreyHunt fired with his guns, but when the bullets hit the man, the bullets went right through the man.

As for the Deven himself, his body turned completely dark before then dissolving into the shadows instantly.

"?!"

(Shadow skill?!) – though GreyHunt.

(So that he went around me unnoticed!)

(ClownFrog told me about it. He said that my previous boss had skill that used some shadows skills for movement and for assassination oriented attacks.)

(But you are telling me this guy has some shadow class of his own?)

(Does he have the same class as her? Or is it just similar?)

GreyHunt looked around, trying to find the Deven who could reappear at any moment.

GreyHunt looked around in panic until he had finally spotted the mage on top of the one of the house before then firing the [Power Shot] once again at the mage, forcing the mage to deploy another barrier skill to block the attack.

(I didn't heard much about that guy online, but by the look of things his main goal is to harass and weaken the enemies.) – though GreyHunt.

GreyHunt released a wave of demonic energy from his body upon activating skill.

"?!" – Deven stared shocked.

([Demon Paladin] skill?!)

"What with the surprised look?!"

GreyHunt enchanted his guns with the demonic energy before firing at the shadow barrier of the Deven that was visible taking damage.

However, while GreyHunt was firing his bullets, he was also closing the distance between the two and the man had realized that.

"Shit! Stay away you fucker!"

"[Shadow Blast]!"

Man fired a blast of shadow energy towards GreyHunt, blowing the GreyHunt and the area around him up.

However, when the man looked after the dust cloud settled down, GreyHunt was nowhere in the sight.

"How about nope?!" – asked GreyHunt who was in midair.

[Desert Assassin] ultimate skill.

[Sand Lie]

[A short range teleportation skill that makes user invincible when teleporting from the starting location, but can be still attacked when teleported.]

"[Demon Bullet]!"

GreyHunt fired the powerful demonic enchanted bullet from his gun at the barrier, hitting it and shattering it on the impact, causing the mage to panic.

"[Demon Ball]."

GreyHunt this time instead of firing with his gun had fired instead fired a ball of the demonic energy at the man.

In response man fired his own [Demon Ball] at the GreyHunt projectile and making the two projectiles hit each other midair and explode.

However, it was cover up.

As soon as the two balls destroyed each other, GreyHunt began firing with his guns at man and before the man realized the bullets were already too close.

Some of the bullets missed, but some did hit him, making the man HP drop to the critical point.

However, it wasn't the end.

The [Devil Seven] special effect was activated.

When all six bullets are fired, it will generate an extra bullet made out of the demonic energy.

"[Final Bullet]."

GreyHunt fired with his revolver, firing the demonic enchanted bullet at the mage and hitting him right in the chest.

"…. B…. Bitch." – said Deven as he fallen off the house and onto the ground dead, dropping his recovery supplies.

"…."

"Huh…."

"He was weaker than I thought?" – said GreyHunt to himself.

(I was holding back, since I wanted him to use more of his cards and everything, but I beat him way too easy, even when not going all out.)

(Well, he wasn't exactly weak or anything like that, he was above average player.)

(But still, he wasn't on the "Monster" level or extremely strong.)

(Honestly, if I went little bit more serios I would have ended the fight quite fast.)

(Well, according to the interested, this guy was more of a commander type of guy…. I think he is the type of guy who doesn't fight directly but instead commands people…. It would also explain why he went with the whole curse stuff in the first place.)

(Oh well, he probably doesn't know I was holding back on him.)

(He will probably feed those guys false information about for sure and that will cause them to underestimate me.)

(I wonder what sort of face he will made after he realized I had been just "PLAYING WITH MY FOOD" this whole time and I had even gave him false information about me struggling against him.) – though GreyHunt while looting the man corpse from his recovery supplies.

"Now…. It would have been perfect if I had encountered the guild master of that Red Lions and had killed him…. But I don't know where he is…... Oh well."

"There is still a lot of time before this whole phases end."

(And he better hopes that he won't encounter me in this phase or the finals.)

(But if he does encounter me, I will make sure to destroy him and make him eat dirt!)
