[VRMMO] Dead One

With the appearance of the first safe zone as well as the red zone that starred to spread around the map, many players started making their way towards the safe zone that resulted in players encountering other players and either resulted in two things.

They fought.

Or they had forced alliance.

Many players tried to fighting on their own, but many other players had formed alliance between each other to get rid off of the most dangerous players.

Many players had been eliminated already, but there is still way more players left on the map, meaning that the event is nowhere near finishing yet.

However, one of the most chaotic location right in the event was the forested town that was taken over by ClownFrog.

Many players who tried to go to the city since the area around it was an open space with no cover what so ever.

But unfortunately for them, they straight up walked to their deaths.

"…."

"Jezus." – said the CEO who was observing the game from the monitored room.

"ClownFrog straight up turned that city into a freaking dungeon. Hey. Michel. Can you clip that? It will be quiet interesting clip for our promotion video."

"On it boss." – said the obese man.

"But damn." – said the obese man while observing the ClownFrog.

"Is he some sort of demon lord or something? He is really going all out and not showing any mercy at all."

"Nah. I don't think he is going all out yet." – said the CEO.

"ClownFrog is a leader of the Purple Hyena guild, an unknown guild that were once hailed as heroes, but now are called terrorist."

"But from what they showed so far, they made clear to everybody that they are not idiots."

"He is definitely not showing all of his cards and maybe is using his monsters as traps."

"With that many monsters hanging around, you would get easy spotted. But if any of those monsters spot you, then you are fucked."

"Still, it is quite interesting and everything."

"However we probably won't see any big action in the town right now." – said the CEO while looking at the map that had pinpointed location of every player on the map.

"There are not many players heading towards the town and the ones that got there are now getting mauled on by – Jezus that guy just got eaten alive by zombies!" – said CEO while observing player getting swarmed by zombies and then eaten alive.

"This looked like straight out of zombie movie."

"…."

"Ah…. Anyway. ClownFrog probably won't encounter anybody big or anything yet considering the movement of the players and the location of the other extremely strong players like him."

"Speaking of players, how many are left?"

"Let me check…..." – said the woman in the suit while opening system window.

"There is still more than half players left, but since the red zone and safe zone appearance many players started moving and fighting each other."

"This straight up causes the number of the players getting killed being slowly increased."

"…."

"How much until the second safe zone would show up?" – asked the muscular man.

"Not exactly there yet…. But it will soon manifest." – replied the woman in the suit.

"Heh. Good. It will things more interesting." - said CEO.

"But for now, look around on the cameras and any promising players."

"I also want to watch some interesting action."

[Meanwhile: Giant forest area.]

"B-bitch." – said the angeloid player who was just killed by Lil.

"…."

'Phew' – said Lil.

[You have used [Recovery Supply].]

[Your HP and energies have been slightly recovered.]

[[Recovery Supply] had entered short cooldown.]

(Okay… I was expecting to run into stronger players sooner or later, but that guy was straight up annoying.)

(That bastard could straight up rain down beans of holy magic from the sky over and over again.)

(I honestly though he would have been easier than that dragon tamer lizardman.)

(Both Cave and Ampi are not giving any sight or even try to establish contact.)

(Did both of them got defeated?)

(Cave isn't really one of our strongest players, but he isn't that weak either. He should be able to hold his ground against some stronger players.)

(But Ampi?)

(She has around same amount of strength as me.)

(Dammit….)

(No. There is still chance that either of them are alive.)

(The red zone straight up forced me to leave the swamp and Ampi location was top right corner. If she lives then she was forced to move.)

(Cave could also be alive. He did said he was in combat and he ended up going outside the communication range.)

(But…. Even if they are somewhat alive, I cannot contact them nor I can confirm if he either dead or alive.)

(I guess I have to give up on regrouping with the others and sticking together, and instead focus on my own survival.)

(If only we had devices that could more than two ways instead communicate with multiple people…. I could somewhat try and communicate with other members of the Purple Hyena guild.)

"?!" – Lil noticed some light in the distance.

"[Metal Skin]!"

Lil quickly covered her body with metallic cover before moments later a projectile hit her right in the forehead, landing a solid hit and sending Lil rolling on the ground.

(SNIPER!?) – though Lil while getting up from the ground in hurry and panic.

"?!"

Lil noticed the second light and quickly started to run away towards nearest giant tree right before the projectile hit the spot where Lil was just seconds ago, making her barely dodge the shot in time as she reached the tree.

(Dammit! This isn't good.) – though Lil while hiding behind the tree.

(If I activated the [Metal Skin] just 1 second later, it could have ended badly.)

(I do have some vitality and all since I needed them for some of my skills and combat, but even with the [Metal Skin] I took that much damage?!)

(And what is he firing at me anyway?!)

(It was some sort of energy beam…. A magic bow, crossbow or gun? Or maybe some sniper magic or something like that?)

(Either way, I didn't see the attacker…. He must be pretty far away… And considering the angle of the attack, the attacker must be on the trees.)

"…."

"Dammit."

(This isn't fun.)

(I won't be surprised if he has stealth skills as well just like Oron.)

(This isn't fun at all!)

(If he really has a build like Oron with an ability to shot devastating shots from afar while also having a lot of movability alongside the stealth skills, then I'm straight up in disadvantage in here!)

(Should I try to leave this area? I have my defensive skills as well as my metal and shapeshift skills. The sniper won't be able one shot kill me even if he lands a headshot.)

(But I don't know where the hell exit is and sooner or later the new safe zone will appear and the red zone will start moving again.)

"….Oh."

(That fuking bastard! That's why is in that direction! He knows I'm scared, but sooner or later the red zone will start moving right behind me!)

(Shit! Now I need to deal with that fuking sniper, no matter if I like it or not.)

(But how?)

(I can use [Metal Glory] so I could take some hits without worry and could also use shapeshift to close the distance between ourselves.)

(But what from should I take?)

(Bear will be able to tank few hits, but I will become bigger target.)

(Wolf…. Fast, but what if that guy is incredibly good? If so, he will still snipe me.)

(I could also turn into hawk and fly…. But those trees will be too annoying. They will get in my way.)

(Shit…. I also need to remember that I don't know where that bastard is!)

(If I blindly charge, I may end up-)

"…. Oh, fuck off." – said Lil.

Lil noticed in the distance another player that was straight up rushing towards her.

(…. Wait.)

(Why the sniper isn't firing?!)

"?!"

"YOU IDIOT! DON'T COME HERE! THERE IS AN SNIPER!" – shouted Lil, realizing that the sniper is intentionally not shooting.

However, even though Lil shouted and the man heard her, the man continues running towards her.

(D-dammit!?)

(At this rate he will put both of us in danger!)

"[Summon: Metal Thorn Guards]!"

Lil summoned a pair of giant plant monsters covered in black knight armor.

"Get him!"

The giant plant metal knights rushed at the man, but then the player that was rushing towards Lil turned himself into a giant brown bear and continues charging until he end up conforming f the giant metal thorn guards and starting fighting them.

The man tried to overpower the monsters, but the giant were not any weak summons and were somewhat holding their ground against the druid player, giving Lil a chance to begin summoning more and more monsters to her side.

(Tch. He is a druid. He will have some survivability skills.) – though Lil.

(But I need to deal with him as fast as possible.)

(I will overwhelm him with numbers and then use my monsters as shields so I can-)

Suddenly while Lil was right in the middle of finishing summoning her monsters, the tree that she was right next to was straight up pierced and parts of it blowed away.

Lil only looked with her eyes, but it was too late, the unknown projectile hit her right in the side, dealing critical amount of damage and knocking Lil away from the sheer power of the shot.

"…What?" – said Lil who was completely catched off guard by the sudden attack.

Lil ended up getting pushed out of her hiding spot after receiving the powerful shot before then starting to roll on the ground.

"…."

"O-ow."

(Oh… This is not good….) – though Lil while trying to get up.

"?!"

Lil spotted the light in the distance again.

(OH SHIT! THIS IS NOT GOOD AT ALL!)
