[VRMMO] Dead One

Lil who was just surprisingly shot through the giant tree had now noticed a second shot coming her way.

"[Thorn Maiden Gate]!"

Lil summon a metallic gate covered in thorny vines that took the sniper attack for her, completely stopping the attack.

(Shit!) – though Lil that was panicky getting up.

(He straight up demolished part of the tree and hit me with the same shot?! How much power does that guy has?!)

"…."

(That druid guy looks confused…. I don't think he is working with the sniper.) – though Lil while noticing the druid player looking in the direction where the shot came from with surprised look.

"Hey! Let's stop fighting you idiot or you will get shot down later on!" – shouted Lil.

"…"

The druid player looked confused, not knowing what to do before.

However, the druid then transforming into the wolf and then turned around before then starting running away.

"?!"

"YOU BITCH!" – shouted Lil.

"SNIPER! SHOT HIS ASS!"

"…"

The druid ran away and the sniper did not shot once at him.

"…."

"YOU BITCH! YOU HEAR ME?! YOU ARE BITCH SNIPER!" – shouted Lil after realizing that the sniper is only targeting her.

(Is it because I'm possible stronger than druid?!)

(Well, I was planning on using the druid as distraction so I could run away myself…... But still, at least fuking shot him or something!)

Sniper shot hit the gate once again, shaking it up, but not destroying it.

"?!"

(Dammit! He wants to destroy my shield!)

(Should I run away? But how?)

(Changing my cover won't help either since that guy can straight up demolish the whole…... Wait.)

(Does he really have that much force?)

(That shot he hit me with was much different than other shots.)

(He probably used something to increase the power of the shot… Yea. That is definitely the case.)

(But then, how many of those shots he can make? Does he have different skills or tools that increase his attack power that much?)

(And how long until he can fire like this again?)

(What if that shot right now was to test out the shield endurance?)

(Dammit! He is playing with me!)

Another shot hit the shield gate, shaking it but not destroying it.

(Calm down…. And think.)

(I managed to summon monsters already, but he isn't attacking them… He knows as long as he takes me down the monsters.)

(He is probably waiting for me to make a next move or wait until I leave my cover so he can fire… He is hitting the shield to scare me and try to break it as well. He wants me to panic.)

"Go. Go and find where the sniper is and then hunt him down!" - said Lil while potting with her finger towards the direction where the shots are coming from.

As Lil ordered all of her monsters began running towards the directions where the shots were coming from.

This action alarmed the sniper, but he had also realized that Lil was not coming out from her cover.

The sniper though that Lil was using the monsters as distraction so she could run away when the opportunity shows up.

"…."

The sniper fired again, but this time way more powerful shot than before that flew across the forest and flew right past Lil monsters until it hit the metallic gate and this time the impact from shot ended up visible damaging the gate.

"Tch." – sniper.

(Even after taking that shot, it still stands?! How tough defense does that gate has?)

(…. It doesn't look like the gate is surrounding her… I can just change location and attack her from the angle where the gate isn't blocking her…. But this maybe a trap.)

(There is also the fact that the red zone should appear any minute now…. She won't have no choice but to come out herself.)

(As for the monsters, I don't need to worry about them one bit.)

Sniper had started again firing at the Lil defensive gate while Lil monsters continues rushing towards the possible location where the sniper is hiding.

However, while that was happening, the second announcement had been made.

[WARNING!]

[The second safe zone has been established on the map.]

[The red zone shall start moving once again.]

[Please make your way to towards the new safe zone for your own safety.]

"!"

(Nice.) – though sniper.

(The safe zone has been moved even closer to the center…. Now that bitch won't have no choice but to come out in total panic.)

"Tch."

(Those monsters are closing in on my position. Time to change the location.) – though the sniper while observing Lil monsters.

The sniper began jumping from tree to tree while using a stealth skill to stay hidden.

Before long sniper stopped.

(Good. This place will do.)

"?!"

Sniper looked at the metal gate, only to see its gone and Lil nowhere in sight.

(What?!)

(Where is she?!)

(I was looking at that gate nonstop, there is no way she could have escaped!)

"?!"

(I don't see her anywhere!) – though the sniper while using his scope to look around in the area.

(Is she hiding behind one of the trees?)

(I can start blasting at those trees again…. But then it will reveal my location again.)

(Dammit!)

(What did she did?!)

(Wait. Stealth skill?!)

(I though she was an mage!)

The sniper looked around in panic, trying to spot Lil who had suddenly disappeared without trace when the sniper was straight up observing her current location.

(Calm down.)

(Even if she did disappeared somewhere, she definitely does not know where I'm. So, I can-)

Undenounced to the sniper, he was already found out.

Right behind sniper emerged a giant bird like creature out of nowhere.

The sniper realized that something was behind him and quickly turned around and shot the creature, only to realize the creature body was covered in metal when the bullet did not managed to knock away the monster.

"GOT YOU BITCH!" – shouted Lil in her giant hawk form.

"[Beast Shape: Bear]!"

Lil transformed from the hawk to the bear, landing on the tree that the sniper was on.

The sniper used skill [Breaking Shot] and instantly fired with his rifle gun at the bear that ended up hitting Lil.

However, Lil current defense was too high and the attack did not knocked out the Lil out of the tree or stopped her thanks to her [Beast Shape: Bear] while also using [Metal Glory] skill.

The bear rushed at the man and swiped the sniper with her claws right across his chest, dealing devastating hit and knocking the man away off the top of the tree, resulting in him now falling down from the tree.

"?!"

"[Wind Float]!" – The man used a skill while spinning in the air.

The man gathered wind around himself, slowing himself down from falling, but when he finally stopped spinning around and looked up, he saw something worrying.

Lil already reverted to her human form and she had already used skill [Metal Bullets] that manifests and fires several fist sized bullets at the sniper.

Sniper tried deploying the skill [Wind Shield], but the first bullet hit him, interrupting him before then the remaining 5 bullets hit the man.

(D-dammit?!) – though the sniper while panicking.

"[Wave Surge]!"

"?!"

The sniper looked up and saw a wave of water coming straight to him.

This time the sniper managed to deploy [Wind Barrier] in time before the water hit him.

However, Lil attack was too much for the barrier, causing it to crack before then breaking apart and hitting the sniper with full force.

The sniper couldn't sustain his [Wind Float] skill and ended up flying straight towards the ground with the wave of water until he finally crashed into the solid ground while getting crushed by the wave of water.

The sniper tried to move, but the water was not letting him move at all.

However, before long the wave of water stopped and the sniper began trying to breath.

But as soon as he tried to move and stand up, he realized he was surrounded by Lil monsters.

The sniper tried to quickly back away, but the metal thorn guards stabbed the man in the back with their massive swords before moments later all other monsters joined in and began attacking and tearing the sniper apart.

The sniper realized he was in grave danger and used skill [Wind Path] and [Assassin Foot] to quickly get out of the crowd of monsters before he was fully surrounded by them.

However, Lil was ready for it since she did not wanted to give the man any chances and instantly fired the [Metal Spear] that flew at the man and impaled him right in the back, resulting in him hitting the ground once again.

Lil did not showed any mercy and had also began firing bullets of earth and water at the man until her monsters got to the man and began beating him up again.

"…." – Lil observed from the top of the tree as the sniper was getting destroyed by her monsters until she finally saw multiple recovery supplies dropping, indicating that the man was killed.

"…Phew…. Finaly dead." – said Lil after calming down.

Lil looked around before then quickly and safely getting down from giant tree with the use of her monsters that climbed part of the tree and carried her quickly to the ground.

After getting down, Lil quickly walked towards sniper corpse and took any recovery supplies he had on himself before then starting to inspect his body.

"…."

(Nope… Don't know him.) – though Lil after inspecting the man face.

(He isn't wearing any guild symbols or anything like that…. He could be solo player or member of some guild and instead not be wearing any guild symbol to hide himself.)

(But again, I do not know him…. There is bigger chance of him being solo player.)

(But what the fuck was with that shots of his?!)

(I saw him carrying that rifle, but he did not shot bullets or anything like that. He instead shot some sort of energy shots… Probably mana gun that fires magic instead of bullets.)

(BUT FUCK ME!)

(That hurt like hell!)

(If it wasn't for my [Metal Mage] class, then he would have killed me long time ago.)

(Honestly, I would have been screwed if he had realized my plan.)

(As soon as I had send out of monsters in his directions, I used a skill from the [High Earth Mage] class called [Earth Movement] that allows me to dig into the ground for few moments and quickly travel around before then reemerging from the behind the one of the giant trees and then taking the hawk form to quickly get away before he realize.)

(I managed to somehow get away, but if had spotted me while flying around, I may end up fucked.)

(If he had spotted me before I would have gotten close to him, I would have been forced to use [Metal Glory] too early on and that would straight up screw my entire plan.)

(He could just jump from one tree to another while firing at me in order to keep me away from him and wear me down.)

(Thankfully, he didn't saw me and he ended up moving around in other to change his position.)

"…. Fuck…..." – said Lil while holding her head.

"…."

(Okay…. There is that strong bastard that the world does not know about and there are probably few others like him in the tournament. Unknown, but strong…. Honestly, this is quiet worrying.)

(If I somehow manages to survive until the finals, I will definitely run into strong bastard like him, if not somebody even stronger that could wreck my shit with ease.)

"…."

"This isn't fun…."

"…" – Lil took out the communication devices.

"Anybody? Can you hear me?"

"…."

"No response again…. Shit."

(So, I can't still connect with either Cave or Ampi with only two possible reason why: They either died or they are out of range.)

(But either way, I'm all on my own…...)

'Sigh'

"Fuck it."

(I can still make it to the finals, so I shouldn't give up yet.)

(I should also hurry since the red zone is slowly approaching this place, and with it, the players.)

(Things will start really chaotic from now on…. )
