[VRMMO] Dead One

Chapter 241 - 242 - Blood Mountains.

"Hm…. This is problematic." – said Tail while ridding giant ant.

"Hm? Is something wrong?" – asked Cave while also riding one of Shri ants.

"According to the map, the blood mountains are located quiet far from our current location."

"What about the other 2 locations?" – asked Tail.

"Let me check…. The jewel hive is the closest location to us, but the mad beast garden is straight up across the entire empire." – said Tail.

"The blood mountains are quiet far away from our current location and it will definitely take a long time to just get there alone."

"Well, what other option do we have mate?" – asked Wretch while riding an undead horse.

"Like the boss said before, without the proper base, we can only dream about fighting the empire."

"Still, it's pretty annoying."

"We need to make sure that they don't see us, so we cannot just the main road often or sometimes straight up avoid them, meaning that we will take much longer to get there."

"Well, we can't really complain, considering that most people had voted for the blood mountains, including us." – said Tail.

"Still, considering the distance and the fact we cannot use the main road will make things easier."

"We are quite lucky already for us all to even have all mounts that allow us to travel much faster." – said Tail while petting the ant.

"…."

"Still, it will take us days, right?" – said annoyed Cave.

"Unfortunately, yes. Maybe even weeks or maybe even month." – said Tail.

"…. Shit." – said Cave.

For us to get to the [Blood Mountains] will require us to spend many days of nonstop traveling.

Many of the members had already got annoyed after hearing the news about how long we need to travel to get to the [Blood Mountains], I'm not blaming them at all.

Still, we need to do it this way.

If we go through any of the main roads, we may end up being discovered.

And no. Going through some village that is on the main road only to destroy in order to get rid of the evidence is stupid since it will take time and if we repeat it multiple times people realize that something is wrong and the tracks are leading to the [Blood Mountains].

So, for many days we went around the main road and tried getting spotted at all by the locals.

We mostly used the night for our cover so we can use our beasts to run at full speed.

But overall, all the days we spend in the games were just about traveling around.

So, yea, we just sneaked around while running towards the [Blood Mountains] for days and even more days.

Beside that, nothing. Like straight up nothing.

We did had some run-ins with some monsters, but they were more like the random pointless encounters.

So straight up, only traveling. That's it.

It was like this each day.

But hey…. Okay not hey.

We finally managed to get to the [Blood Mountains] after spending who knows how many fuking days!

"Jezus! We are finally here!" – said Shri while getting off her monster.

"I got to agree with you sis…. This took… Way fuking longer than I though." – said Oron.

"I mean, I did though it would take weeks or few, but still…. Fuck me."

"Even if we didn't avoided any of the main roads and instead used them all, it would have still taken us shit ton of time in order to get here."

"…."

"Anyway, this place…. Is already giving me creeps." – said Oron.

In front of the Purple Hyena guild stood many tall mountains that were both covered and surrounded with forests.

"I don't know what, but this place seems extremely evil for some reason." – said Oron.

"Well, considering how the information we gathered from the settlements about this place all said that this place is living hell and other stuff, I'm not blaming you." – said GreyHunt.

"Still, you are right. This place seems pretty creep."

"So…... Boss. Are we going in now?" – asked GreyHunt.

"…Nope." – said ClownFrog.

"Considering the information we have gotten about this place; we may find ourselves in fight from get go."

"Everybody get ready for the combat. If any of those stories are true, then this place maybe really filled with monsters."

The members of the Purple Hyena guild began checking their equipment while also getting ready in case the combat would start any moment.

After the preparation were done, the entire guild began entering the forest area while being fully armed.

The party continues walking through the forest while also encounter monsters, but not really anything like level 200 or above monsters and instead just simple small flies that either run away in panic when they had spotted the group or were just stomped to the death beneath their feets.

"…."

"Say…. We have been already walking here for quiet some time, but we haven't encounter anything yet? I mean, like anything like high level or some other dangerous stuff. Only small flies?" – asked Catfolk player named Kitty Paw.

"…. Huh…. Yea…... Weird." – said Catfolk player named Kitty Nose.

"Maybe all of these people exaggerated things?"

"…."

"Well, there is probably some true to that, considering that the empire soldiers did went here and none of them came back alive." – said ClownFrog.

"We did walked quit a lot after we got here, but the problem maybe will start as soon as we start getting closer to the forest parts beneath the mountains or when we get onto those mountains themselves. So maybe the current parts of the forest we are in are somewhat safe? But the hell begins once we get anywhere close to the mountains or start climbing them?"

"However…. Why the empire has not touched this forest at all or builted anything like a post or something that can watch over the forest if something comes out?"

"…."

"Are you saying that this part of the forest are also dangerous?" – asked Blueberry.

"There is a good chance or they probably didn't do that since they didn't wanted to provoke something living in here." – said ClownFrog.

"Or maybe, they indeed did that, but were destroyed later on."

"Or people just avoid this place and think that its cursed or something.

"All four answers could be correct."

"However, if that is the case then we have even more reason to build our base in here if we possible can."

"If we can make this place our base, we won't only get an perfect location to hid our troops, but also gain an barrier of sorts."

"Not only that."

"If that place is really filled with some high ranking monsters, each and ever one of us can level up much faster, especially you guys." – said ClownFrog while looking towards Ampi and Lil.

"True. We did helped you guys level up a bit before we left our originally continent, but if this place is also a perfect hunting ground for us, we can have you guys fight with us and get boosted in terms of levels." – said Rampage.

"I kind of get it, but I also- "

Before Tail could finish speaking, Rampage quickly rushed towards him and blocked an axe that was coming his way.

"?!" – Tail stared confused as he was almost hit in the head with an axe.

"Well, by the look of thing these parts of the forest aren't really that safe, huh?" – said Rampage.

In front of the group there was a large group of the monsters that resembles green skinned orcs.

[Maniae Forest Orc – Level 200]

"Orcs?!" – said Wretch who was also an orc.

"Nope." – said Oron.

"Those are Maniae monster."

"Apparently those monsters are some sort of cuisines of some races that long ago fallowed the mad god or something, but after his defeat the Maniae lost their minds and became monsters."

"You can think of them as some sort of powered up cave mans."

"…."

"Wati, so they are like orcs, but they are instead a primitive orcs who are also monsters?" – asked Wretch.

"Pretty much, yes." – replied Oron.

"There are apparently some other races like Maniae lizardmans or Maniae goblins."

"Huh…. Wait, how do you know about them?" – asked Rampage.

"Well, I was bit curios about this world and if it does some gods or something and then the thing about those guys randomly popped up on the internet about those guys." – explained Oron.

"You can wonder about gods and other stuff later. Let's just deal with that trash already." – said GreyHunt.

The savage orcs began instantly running towards the party…. But they were almost instantly gunned down to death.

"…"

"Huh…. That only lasted straight up for the moment?" – asked Shri.

"Well, what did you expected? These guys are all level 200 and below and each of us over 400 while others are over level 300." - said GreyHunt.

"Still, there were quiet a lot of them…. Oron, what do you know about these Maniae monsters?"

"Hm…. From what I know, they create some savage tribes and stuff…. I don't think those guys were an entire tribe but maybe some hunting force or something?" – said Oron.

"However, considering the empire soldiers strength, these guys would have probably be also get instantly annihilated." – said ClownFrog.

"They were definitely not the ones who dealt with the empire in the past."

"Yea, empire would definitely wipe them out, but if that is the case then what killed the empire soldiers?"

"Even if one soldier somehow managed to run away from the mountains, they should have been able to deal with those orc monsters."

"That means that all of them got whipped out at the same time without leaving any survivors."

"So…. Now we are in the real danger zone, even though we are still not near the mountains or the forest beneath its feet."

"If the closer we get to them, then the higher level monsters will appear? Level 300? Level 400? Or maybe even 500?"

"…."

"Yeesh." – said Shri.

"I thought for a moment that this place maybe easy, but if you say it like this, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we had some sort of dragon nests here and there that would attack us the moment any of them sees us."

"…."

Everybody looked at Shri in complete silence with an expression on their face saying "You called it, didn't you?".

"…."

"Okay. First of all, fuck you all." – said annoyed Shri while flipping off everybody.
