[VRMMO] Dead One

The 3 great danger zones.

These are the 3 large territories inside the empire that the empire have no way of controlling what so ever. Their territory may be said to belong to the empire, but in reality, it's really not. They never conquered those places, meaning that those territories are really not part of the empire.

You could that they are their own kingdoms in a way.

The 3 great danger zones is a dangerous terrain where a countless monsters live in.

The first danger zone is called [Blood Mountains].

This place is pretty much a land scape that is covered in mountains and forests.

The trees there are gigantic, pretty much making this place a jungle.

The number of the monsters in there is no joke either.

Apparently, you can even find dragons there as well and not some weak ones, but a strong ones.

This place earned its name after slaughtering an entire army of the empire soldiers that tried to conquer it, but failing and leaving only lakes of red blood coming out of the forest.

The second location is an underground kingdom of monsters called [Dead Hive].

That place is located in the big swamp, pretty much the entire area of the swamp it's part of it.

However, the swamp is only the entrance.

The real [Jewel Hive] can be entered through that swamp.

And apparently, that place isn't some just an underground cave system, but a whole kingdom.

There are plants everywhere, even some trees apparently growing there.

Its straight up an underground kingdom where a lot of monsters live.

Not only that, but that place posses many riches that straight up made some of the empire nobles form their own army and raid that place.

And as expected, all of them died.

One of the people that somehow managed to escape described that place as a living hell before dying.

Nobody after that tried to do anything with that place, but there were few here and there nobles who still tried to do something about it.

The third location is bit more…. Wild.

It's called [Mad Beast Garden].

It's a gigantic forest area with trees that straight up covered the sky according to the dark merchant description.

That place is apparently a home for numerous races that often clash with each other.

The trees there were apparently extremely big, not like the [Blood Mountains trees, but much bigger. These trees could apparently range up to even extremely high buildings if not even more.

The resources of that place were also rich, ranging from the special plants to a special trees that possess a special properties.

However, that place is also home for the horde of monsters and many of those monsters often fight for their territories in there.

That place may look like a peaceful forest from far, but in reality, it's also a hell.

"And that is the informations we got from the dark merchant." – said GreyHunt.

"Honestly, we don't know if he was telling the truth about some parts or he was just exaggerated things." – said GreyHunt.

"But when we looked bit more into it by asking around or paying some information brokers, they confirmed the man story about the 3 great danger zones and their existence."

"I say we hit the jackpot."

"Yea." – said ClownFrog.

"If what you said is true, then each one of these location would provide us as perfect cover and would also provide us with materials as well."

"However, each of these location is quite dangerous AND each one can provide us different materials."

"…."

"Everybody, gather up." – said ClownFrog to the rest of the members of the guild.

"We need everybody attention on this."

All of the members of the Purple Hyena guild had gathered up for the meeting.

"Okay. Listen up everybody."

"We finally found an perfect location for our base, but there are some issues."

"The first issue is that there are 3 location we can chose."

"An mountains with an forest on top of it."

"An swamp with an entire underground kingdom that is extremely rich in resources."

"And the forest covered with extremely tall trees that is filled with monsters that fight over territories."

"Each and every single of these place can provide us with an perfect cover, even if we were to create an freckling castle in the middle of each one of them."

"The first one can provide us with an cover above ground perfectly AND we can also make our base underground as well."

"The second location is an underground kingdom, so we would have only option of creating our base underground."

"The third location is an ginormous forest that is filled with monsters that fight each other nonstop."

"I will explain now possible benefits of each location could give us based on the information that our GreyHunt and Oron had provided us with."

"After words, I want to hold a voting."

"I will post an voting on the guild chat where everybody can post their vote."

"This will be an important and I want to every member of the guild to provide us with their vote, since it will be location of our base."

"Then without further ado, GreyHunt, Oron, explain everything you know."

Oron and GreyHunt began explaining everything to ever single member of our guild about the information they had gotten from the libraries, information broker as well as the dark merchant about the 3 great danger zones.

After the explanation was done, the members of the guild began talking with each other, wondering with location they would chose.

It took quiet bit of time.

Some people wanted to have either one of two options they want, but didn't knew with one they should vote for.

Some people wanted more time, so we decided to make post pod the voting a little bit.

It took some time, but in the end, the voting did happened and here are the results.

"Okay…. Here are the results." – said ClownFrog.

"[Jewel Hive] has gotten 8 votes."

"The [Mad Beast Garden] got 10 votes."

"And the [Blood Mountains] has gotten 12 votes."

"By the look of things, the [Blood Mountains] is the winner."

"The voting was really tied, so I want to ask everybody this, does anybody want to re-vote? I'm asking the people that voted from the [Jewel Hive]."

"You got the least votes, but considering that the [Mad Beast Garden] and the [Blood Mountains] has only 2 vote difference."

"Does anybody have any objections?"

"…."

"No?"

"Well then, people who voted for the [Jewl Hive] can re-vote and choose between the two locations."

[Few moments later.]

Results.

[Mad Beast Garden] – 13.

[Blood Mountains] - 17

"The results are here and by the look of things [Blood Mountains] has won again, this time with the difference of 4 votes." – said ClownFrog.

"So, by the look of things the we are going to form our base at [Blood Mountains]."

"Does anybody have any objections about this?"

"If so, say something and I will also put an anonymous voting this time on the guild chat and see if anybody wants to do voting from the scratch again."

Everybody began talking with each other, wondering if they should start the thing from the start.

The talk did lasted quiet long, but in the end, there were no real objections not the revoting even happened.

The agreement happened and our next destination was decided.

One of the 3 great danger zones: [Blood Mountains].

By the way, you are probably wondering why I chose the [Blood Mountains], right?

Well, I was wondering in between the [Blood Mountains] and [Jewel Hive], but the problem with the [Jewel Hive] is that its easy to access through the swamps and if we were to make part of our base overground to protect the entrance, we would be easily discovered, meaning that we cannot do that and we have to make our base underground.

Having a kingdom sized place underground maybe a good location to make a base, but how we will get supplies there? That place gets too much attention because of its riches.

Too risky.

As for the [Mad Beast Garden], we could build our base on those gigantic trees like some sort of elves, but we will need things like factories, specifically the monster factories like the golem factories or the other factions.

What kind of other monster factories?

Well, for example the corpless research facility.

That right.

We managed to secure some of the production method as well as crafting method for the monster creation facilities, like corpless for example and some other monsters.

The demon lord gave us as a little gift, but in case she needed to cut our "Friendship" she can just say we stole it. However, thanks to the "Litle gift" she gave us, we have become even bigger threat to the empire.

In short, we can make our own troops if we have enough materials. We can make our own army that can help us destroy the empire.

We would like to have our base on the ground as well as partially underground and I don't think making our base there where its straight up war zone between different monster species is a good idea.

The [Blood Mountains] are also a dangerous location, but thanks to its shape as well as forest, we can easily hide our location, even if we were to create a bastion in the middle of it.

Not only that, we can also create a perfect underground base inside the mountain.

So, in my eyes, this place is perfect for us for many reasons.

However, there is a chance that we won't be able make our base there, since we never have been there and haven't experience the danger of this place.

So, there is good chance that this place is way more than we can chew and maybe be forced to run away.

That would force us to rush it in terms of leveling up, but without a solid base, we have limited amount of supplies, like ammunition and potions.

We can raid things like villages or towns to take their materials and temporarily use their workshops for our craftsman to make stuff.

But that would obviously make a mess and alarm people and I honestly don't want to do it until we find ourselves a location for our base.

But if the circumstances change like I mentioned before where we have to level up first before making our base, then we will have to raid settlements.

However, for now we just focused on getting to the [Blood Mountains] and see the situation first.

And then we will see if we can really make our base there now or later.
