[VRMMO] Dead One

After some time passed, the entire party had finally entered to the rock formation, where the murder scorpion nest is hidden.

"Fuck me. You weren't kidding. This place is really filled to the brim those scorpions." – said Shri.

"Yea. If we weren't in such hurry before, we would have just hunted here and leveled up a lot just by hunting here." – said GreyHunt.

"Still, how big is this place? Where did you last saw that thing?"

"I saw it around here. I guess it's must be somewhere deeper." – said Rampage.

"I didn't know this place was this big in the first place, since I went back after I saw that big scorpion. It was kind of blocking the only way forward as well, so I had to give up."

"Hm… Well, the area bosses operate in much bigger area compare to the filed bosses. But we did not saw anything outside and we would definitely spot a giant scorpion from the distance that was just wondering around." – said ClownFrog.

"So, there is a good chance it is in the cave, if not, then we will have to look somewhere outside."

"By the way, who is this guy?" – asked O'a.

"He doesn't appear to be your average human zombie."

[Abandoned are dark element undead counterpart of the burning - fire undead.]

(Oh right, I haven't told them all I have turned another unique boss into the undead.)

"Oh, when I was rescuing slaves, I found this guy and turned him into undead. He was a slave master and guy in charge of defending the mines." – said ClownFrog.

"Unfortunately, he is nowhere near your level in terms of power and he isn't intelligent undead like you either."

"But, he does have some strong attacks and he can provide some buffs to the undeads, so he is kind of support and he can even take some hits. So he isn't that bad."

(Too bad its buffs cannot affect me. It can only affect monster under my control. Still, he can affect many undeads at the same time.)

(I thought about making him high ranking burning undead, but I decided to go with abandon undead, since having multiple undeads with similar weakness is bad.)

(Still, it is kind of extremely vurnable to light damage right now because of that.)

"Anyway, lets continue searching. But make sure to kill every single scorpion you see. Having to fight a horde of monsters at the same while withing the area boss will be hard even for us."

The party continue making their way into the deeper parts of the cave until the entire party found themselves underground.

Pretty much the party was repeating the situation.

Kill scorpions -> Head deeper -> Kill scorpions -> Head deeper.

However, after some time, the party finally found themselves in an extremely wide underground room.

Inside, there was a gigantic scorpion monster with 3 tails and 2 pairs of claws as well as 8 eyes.

The scorpion size was exactly the same if not bigger than Forgotten Bride.

[Emperor Murder Scorpion – Level 260] – [Area Boss]

"Finaly found." – said Shri.

"Yeb. But its not alone." – said GreyHunt.

"There are queens and kings as well as other small trashes there. Should we first deal with them?"

"Yea. I don't want any random bastards hindering our fight." – said ClownFrog.

"Me and Rampage will try to hold the enemy back, while the rest of you kill all the monsters around it."

"By the way, O'a, you are coming with me. I need you to attack that guy in order to distract him."

"Roger, roger." – said O'a.

"Heh. Don't worry it won't take even a minute to kill all these guys." – said Shri.

The party entered the giant room and as soon as they did, the scorpion monster ended up spotting the party, but as soon as scorpion monster tried to make a move, ClownFrog bringed out an army of undead scorpions that ended up blocking the scorpion monsters.

As soon as the scorpions were stopped, the party members began unleashing their attacks, killing the scorpion monsters with ease.

(Taking down those weakling won't take long, the question is, how long we can stop that area boss in place?) – though ClownFrog.

The giant scorpion monster launched all 3 of its singers at the party, but Rampage put up a shield wall barrier that that took the hid head on.

"Okay? Huh he damaged me?!" – said Rampage.

"What did I said?! Area boss is an area boss! We may be stronger and higher level, but don't let your guard down or you will wind up dead!" – said ClownFrog.

"[Curse: Flesh] [Curse: Bones]."

[Target is resisting curse.]

[Curse effect has been weaken.]

"Tch."

(On the internet it was said that area bosses posses some resistance against debuffs, making them even lose 50% or 90% of their effectiveness depending on the boss.)

(Still, it's better than nothing.)

"O'a! Aim for the eyes!"

"Got it!" – said O'a.

"[Bone Lance]!"

ClownFrog thew a bone lance at the scorpion, aiming for the monster eye, but the monster used its claws as a shield to block the attack.

However, because it focus on the ClownFrog, it did not noticed O'a appearing near its eyes.

O'a engulfed his blades in burning acid flame, before then slashing two of 8 eyes that the creatures had.

The creature screamed in pain the moment O'a slashed its eyes.

The monster tried grabbing O'a with its claws, but it got suddenly hit with an explosive attack shot by ClownFrog and skeleton mages.

The upgraded skeleton mages continue firing nonstop at the scorpion monster, making the monster angry and making it target the mages.

However, ClownFrog deployed a barrier made out of bone ribs and blocked the attack, before then launching a series of magic skills at the creature.

The skeleton mages and ClownFrog long range attacks assault did not ended for one moment and whenever the scorpion monster tried to do something about this, the Rampage stopped it and O'a created distraction.

To make matters worse for the monster, the undead slave master boosted the skeleton mages attack, making them able to fire at slightly faster rate.

"Hm…"

(We are doing some damage to it, but not as much as I was expecting.) – though ClownFrog.

(Well, it is AREA BOSS. So, I shouldn't have expected its HP to drop by 1% every second or something.)

(Still, its HP IS DECRESSEING and this is a good thing. Even if it isn't by a lot, it is decreasing at steady rate.)

(Not only that. These fuckers had already wrapped up.)

The party members had already managed to kill all scorpion monster and had joined in the fight.

"1:23."

"What the hell are you talking about?" – asked Shri.

"Well, you said that it will take you less than a minute to deal with all of these scorpions. But you were wrong." – said ClownFrog.

"?!"

"Wait! You were counting time?!"

"No. I just used timer function."

"Bitch." – said Shri.

"Yea, yea. Just get to work miss under one minute."

"You- "

"Hey. We don't have to waste, you can beat each other up after we are done with this bastard." – said Oron.

The entire party began attacking the giant scorpion while ClownFrog used the corpse of the killed scorpions to create new undeads that would act as the meat shields.

(Huh. Its HP is dropping at rapid rate now.) – though ClownFrog.

(Well, we are using our skills left and right, so it's no surprise there.)

(Why does it look like we are bullying this thing?)

(I mean…. Rampage is not letting it attack anybody.)

(Undead scorpions and halting its movement alongside Shri monsters.)

(And O'a and GreyHunt are distracting it, not letting that monster have moment of peace.)

(The rest of us are just hitting like crazy from distance.)

(Yea… We are definitely bullying it right now…)

(Are we just that strong? Or is that guy just that weak?)

After non stop "Bullying" from the Purple Hyena guild, the scorpion monster HP had finally dropped to 75%.

"Hey! This way too easy! I think- "

"Shri stop! I think you are raising flag again!" – said GreyHunt.]

[Emperor Murder Scorpion had used skill [Summon Reinforcements.]

"…"

"Shri. For fuck's sake." – said GreyHunt while holding his head.

Suddenly, multiple scorpion queens and kings began appearing though the entire room.

"Well, its not that bad really. I mean. He didn't summoned so many of- "

Before Shri could finish speaking, the giant scorpion grabbed one of the scorpions it just summoned and ate it alive.

"ITS FUKING HEALING FOR FUCK SAKE SHRI!" – said angry GreyHunt.

"How is that my fault?!"

"Then why the fuck are you always raising up the fuking flags?!"

"I DON'T KNOW!" – said Shri.

(It has ability to heal, but why use it now? Is there conditions to using it?) – though ClownFrog.

(Can't be corpse or undead, since it would have already done that long ago. That it means it can only be used on living creatures.)

"This guy can only eats living scorpions! If we kill them, he won't have any means of healing!" – shouted ClownFrog.

"Oron! GreyHunt! You two kill the scorpions! Rest of you, focus on the big guy and don't even give him a chance to do anything!"

The party members began killing the scorpion monster, not letting the monster recover.

However, after all the scorpions were killed and some time passed, the area boss would reaped his action and summon again new monsters, but this time summoning a little bit more.

Again, the scorpions were killed and again the area boss summoned the new monsters.

Pretty much, the fight was less interesting and annoying to the point…. For crying out loud! Make it interesting or something so I can describe it!

"Shri! Don't you fuking dare even say anything that will raise any flags!" – said angry GreyHunt.

[Emperor Murder Scorpion had used skill [Murder Scorpion Breath.]

"I DIDN'T EVEN SAID ANYTHING THIS TIME!" – said Shri.

The giant scorpion shot a purple cloud towards the ClownFrog.

(I don't like this.) – though ClownFrog.

"Run for it!"

ClownFrog alongside his skeleton mages tried getting away, but some of the skeleton mages did not managed to get away in time and were swallowed by the purple smoke before then melting to death.

"?!"

"Oh fuck!" – said ClownFrog.

"Okay. It has a smoke that can melt my undeads and it can also have ability to summon monsters and heal."

"It finally started to show to some challenge."
