[VRMMO] Dead One

"Hey you bastards! Don't get hit by that smoke at all cost! My skeleton mages maybe have weak defense, but these undead were upgraded! So don't let that smoke touch you at all cost!" – shouted ClownFrog.

"Who was going to touch that bloody thing in the first place?!" – shouted GreyHunt while firing with his guns.

"But fuck me! Will it ever stop summoning monsters?! This is already getting tiring and annoying!" – said GreyHunt.

"Well, it will probably spawn them nonstop until we kill it!" – said Oron.

(Fuck me. I guess not having enough members for the area boss raid had bit us in the ass? We can deal with the boss, but the problem is that it's now summoning more and more monsters.)

(I can use my undeads to hold their movement, but undeads are undeads and undead scorpions are way weaker compare to their living counterpart in many ways. Not only that, those stupid summons of his doesn't leave corpse behind for me to use!)

(If its start summoning too many of those things, then we won't be able to kill them all in time and it will start recovering.)

(I guess we need to speed things up before we will get FUCKED.)

The party continues fighting the giaganting scorpion monster while now struggling a bit.

It was no longer a one sided battle and as time would pass, the party would be struggling bit by bit more.

Not only the number of the summoned monsters were being increased each time a new wave of them was summoned, but also party had to watch out for the poison acid breath that the scorpion monster uses.

But that wasn't the end of the trouble.

The scorpion stingers as well as its pincers were also a problematic weapons that the party had to face.

Before it was easy to block and predict the monsters' pincers and the stings, but now that the number of enemies had increased as well as the party movement were hindered a bit, the attacks that were before no threat at had slowly began starting to be a real threat.

Pretty much, the party began finally struggling after the boss monster HP dropped below 50%.

Before the monster HP was dropping at alarming rate, thanks to the Purple Hyena guild overwhelming strength, but after the area boss finally showed its true colors, the boss monster HP was no longer dropping at rapid rate.

The party members didn't cared about using they must powerful skills at all in order to kill the monster as soon as possible, but the monster was an area boss and those bastards can take a lot of hits without dying.

Pretty much, the fight dragged on and on.

As the boss HP got lower and lower, the fight it self-began getting longer and longer, making it harder to deal enough damage to the boss monster to make its HP drop by 1%.

Not only that, but sometimes the party weren't able to stop the area boss from eating the scorpion, since the group didn't had enough players on their side.

The fight had already lasted for more than 15 minutes and the boss monster HP had finally dropped to 10%.

It may seem like the party were slowly getting closer to killing the boss monster, but unfortunately, they weren't.

Not only the number of the monsters had increased a lot, but also more spots in the area were plagued with acid poison smoke, making it extremely hard for the party to move around.

True. The summoned scorpions maybe weaker than the party, but the problem lied in their numbers and the dangerous smoke plaguing the area, making it hard for the party to get to some scorpions in time, allowing the area boss to consume one of the scorpions in time and recover.

"FUCK! How do we stop it from recovering now?! It eating now more often!" – said GreyHunt.

"I can send my undeads to stop the scorpions movement! But if I do that, the Rampage will have to deal with the monsters attacks alone!" – shouted ClownFrog.

"Do it! I can hold this bastard for the while without dying if you give me heals!" – said Rampage.

"But I already used all my heals on you! You blood idiot!" – said ClownFrog.

"Wait, you did?" – said Rampage.

"YES!"

"I don't have many heals in the first place and dark priest or demonic priest don't have any recovery skills!" – said ClownFrog.

"Oh. Shit…. Em… Don't send your undeads then?" – said Rampage.

"Of fuking course, I won't!"

"Anyway, I'm out of skeleton mages, the smoke finally got them all. I only have golems and constructs left."

"If those freaking summoned scorpion corpse didn't disappeared after they got killed, I would have freaking resupplied my undeads, for fuck's sake."

"Hey! Should we instead of split up focus entirety on the boss monster?" – said Shri.

"No! We need to keep killing the scorpions or it will recover! It will probably recover more if we only focused on the boss!" – said Oron.

"But it will just summon new and bigger reinforcements the moment all the scorpions are dead!" – said Shri.

"…"

"Wait. What did you just said Shri?" – said Blueberry.

"I said that it will summon new scorpions the moments later after the last scorpion is killed." – said Shri.

"…"

"Oh my god. We are dumb." – said Blueberry.

"Everybody! Focus on scorpions now! But make sure that you leave one of them alive!"

"What the hell are you….."

"Oh…. Why haven't we fuking though about this before? Man, we really are dumb." – said ClownFrog.

The party members began killing as many scorpions as they could, while having undeads and Rampage try and stop the monster movement, however the scorpion was able to eat another scorpion, getting its health back to 13%.

After few moments passed, the party was able to kill all the scorpions expect for one.

"Shri! Use your ants and cobra to hold that scorpion in place and move it away from the big guy!" – shouted Blueberry.

"Oh! That was your plan!" – Shri.

"You heard her guys! Get to it!"

Shri monster fallowed her commands and restrained the scorpion monster movement.

"Clown- "

"I know!"

ClownFrog quickly ordered his undead to change position and stand between then area boss and the last scorpion.

"Hm? Wait, why did you moved them away?!" – asked Rampage.

"You idiot! We need to hold that last scorpion hostage or it will summon new scorpions and recover." – said ClownFrog.

"Oh…. Wait. If it can't summon new scorpions, doesn't that mean we can just beat it up again one sidedly?" – said Rampage.

"Pretty much."

Suddenly, an evil smile appeared on all party members after realizing the scorpion monster weakness, making the area boss realize, that he is fucked.

As it turns out, the party was right. The area boss could only summon new scorpions, after all of the previous summons were killed, meaning that boss monster was no longer able to recover.

True. The field was still filled with dangerous smoke, but after the scorpion problem was dealt with, the fight turned into one sided bullying once again.

You know I think I kind of feel bad for that scorpion. He was just minding his own life.

Anyway, after some time passed, the area boss emperor murder scorpion was beaten up by the bullies and died horrible death.

"True. The only reason why we were struggling was because we didn't had enough people. Probably in the future we will have to expand out guild a bit. What do you think boss?' – asked Oron.

"Hm? Ah, yes? Sorry, I was checking the items we got from the boss." – said ClownFrog.

"Oh? What did we get?" – asked Shri.

"Is there an egg by any chance?!"

"I just opened it for crying out loud!" – said ClownFrog.

(The self-nature essence are known through the internet, but they are very rare came across, to the point where they are sold for stupid prices on the market.)

(Not only that, but I saw how powerful O'a got after I upgraded him with it and that was the only rare essence.)

(This thing is not only an more powerful version of that essence but also an epic rarity item as well.)

(It maybe bit of stretch, but maybe its value is similar to the legendary rarity weapon!)

(Weapons needs to be replaced sooner or later, but monsters? They can grow stronger with you as time goes by, so you don't need to replace them.)
